Such a low key tranquil place. Surf instructor Wesley was most excellent. Best surfing instructions I've had and I've been to 3 other surf camps. Food is amazing!!

My 12-year son and I took the 5-day surfcamp package at Verdad and we had a blast! The hotel facilities and staff were just perfect: clean and cosy casitas with a great ocean view, home-made foods, massage, and dedicated and friendly and easy going staff that will help you for anything you need/ will bring you anywhere around (e.g. beach, San Juan del Sur, zipline, etc.). The place, just like the whole area, is very safe. The surf instructor (Wesley) is very experienced and knows all the beaches around and their characteristics so that he will bring you to the right place based on your surf level and the weather conditions. Also, the daily surf lesson and photo/video session really helped to us to improve our surf day after day! Bottom-line: Highly recommended place for good surf and/or to simply pull the plug!
