During this surf camp, you will be staying at Spot X Surf Camp. You’ll stay in one of the cool four to 12 share dorm cabins or four share tipis, with all your bedding included. Some cabins have small en-suites, the others have amenities close-by.
Upgrades are available on request to a twin/double room or waterfront cabin but are an additional cost and subject to availability. Please contact Mojosurf Australia for upgrade options. Ultimate beachfront, that's how close the camp is to the beach. If you're a slow walker, it might take you two minutes.
Spot X Surf Camp has a range of accommodation from dorm rooms, waterfront cabins, or tipis. Spot X has all the facilities including absolute beachfront accommodation, Wi-Fi, kiosk/shop, beach activities, dorm share, and tipi style accommodation.
There is also private room upgrades, powered and unpowered campsites, volleyball, river kayaking tours, surf rafting, kangaroo golf (nearby), chill out zones, hammocks, fire pit, laundry, party room, camp kitchen, and television room.
You have the option of staying in either a dorm or tipi depending on the date you'll be staying.
Programme
Breakfast starts about 7 a.m. and is available until about 9 a.m. Surf lessons start daily around 7:30 a.m. and run for two to three hours but may vary depending on group sizes. Lunch time is 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. During the afternoon, you can participate in a free activity, relax, lay in the sun, or watch a movie in the television room.
Optional extra activities available for purchase include surf rafting, kayaking, or kangaroo golf (this is where you will visit the local driving range that has a resident population of about 400 wild kangaroos. Bring the camera as you can get up close and personal).
6 p.m. is dinner time then leads into the camp fire and night time entertainment. There is no bar at Spot X so you can bring your own drinks and keep them in the fridges provided. Spot X runs a free shuttle to the bottle shop every evening. Please note that to use up all your inclusions on your Surf & Stay package, you are best to leave the camp on your last day at the same time you arrived in on your first day.

Each Mojo instructor is a fully accredited surf instructor equipped with their Level 1 Surfing Instructor Qualification, First Aid Certificate, Ocean Safety Certificate, and Working with Children Check. The staff include coaches from world-ranked WSL (World Surf League) competitors, to legendary lifelong watermen (and ladies!).

This surf camp will take place at Spot X Surf Camp in New South Wales, Australia. Spot X is nestled in a beautiful remote location on east coast of Australia. Situated in a National Marine Park, Spot X provides a unique opportunity to spend time in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal areas.
It’s what MojoSurf Australia likes to call “ultimate beachfront” since you can see the ocean from almost every one of the accommodation options. It’s the perfect place to learn to surf, chill out, make new friends, and hang by the campfire! Explore the surrounds where you’ll see kangaroos, dolphins, and maybe even some whales!

During this surf camp, you will be served daily meals at the camp. Nutritious meals are provided for lunch and dinner and a continental breakfast is available for breakfast. While on tour, all meals are catered for. Vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, or lactose intolerant meals are available.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Coffs Harbour Airport (CFS). Transfer to the surf camp is available with an additional cost. You can also arrive at Sydney Airport (SYD), Brisbane Airport (BNE), or Gold Coast Airport (OOL). Self transfer is required to Arrawarra SPot X surf camp.
Arrival by bus
- Take Greyhound bus to "ARRAWARRA". Mojosurf Australia offer free pick up from the bus station to the surf camp.
