Das küchenteam hat sich echt mega reingehängt, es war lecker und es gab auch immer etwas Veganes/ Vegetarisches.

I live in a surf town in California, and it's a crying shame I haven't learned to surf before. But the surf lessons on Byron Bay made surfing seem so much more accessible! The instructors were there to teach, not to surf. They were adept at watching people and giving good advice. Everything else was great too: post-surfing swims in the tea tree lake, yoga at Byron Yoga, and especially, staying at the Arts Lodge, a lively international backpackers' where there was always something happening! The scenery at the Arts Lodge was beautiful, and sharing the Moon Room with my fellow surf campers made it fun and social for me as an independent traveler.

Mir hat besonders die Geduld der Surflehrer gefallen. Man hat sich wirklich Zeit genommen, einem ein Erfolgserlebnis zu verschaffen. Die Gruppen waren außerdem sehr übersichtlich wodurch man sich sehr gut betreut gefühlt hat

Ich konnte schnell coole leute finden.

Indi and James were incredible instructors! They definitely were the highlight of the camp! Made you feel so capable and were so positive with their teachings. The overall knowledge of the instructors was incredible. And the beach spots they were picked awesome. Overall the instructors are really great and make the camp!

Mojo were flexible to create a non residential camp for me & a friend including yoga & surf. Beautiful yoga studio, great yoga classes & teachers; beautiful beaches & superb instructors- really supportive, really fun.

De yoga lessen waren heel erg fijn, mooie ruimte en fijne instructeurs. De meeste medewerkers van de arts factory waren heel behulpzaam. Surfen was leuk, instructie afhankelijk van de instructeur. Is ook lastig denk ik voor de instructeurs met zulke grote groepen.

Sonja was great at co-ordinating activities and she really went the extra mile to accommodate my preferences and itinerary requests. I loved surfing itself and the yoga lessons were fantastic, very professional yoga company and staff. Breakfast was great!

To experience *Byron Bay* there is no better place to go than the Arts Factory Lodge - where people enjoy music, singing, dancing and walking barefoot every day. I booked Yoga, Surf and Stay via Mojosurf (breakfast included) and had a really good time. When I first worried whether it was a good idea to do it - especially after reading some comments of other people I called the camp members from Mojosurf and they were really kind and open and managed to convince me, that I’d be in good hands. This feeling maintained until the end! :) The Tipis are simple but great! Recommendation: bring some earplugs, as there are no walls..;) Anyways, I had a great time and a wonderful Monday night, when the Arts Factory had their Talentshow (like every Monday). I loved the offered breakfast options (everything on the Menu and alternative - vegan or vegetarian - options! Like oat milk Chai Latte). I’ve had three different instructors in my three days of surfing and even though i had a hard time fighting the waves, which were really chaotic, they kept motivating all of us individually - I truly couldn’t have wished for nicer people to tutor me!!;) Respect and Appreciation towards everyone and many kind gestures, jokes or supportive words helped to improve every day and get to know the other surf group members. The Yoga lessons were wonderful - I was in the open classes and really enjoyed the combination of core training and stretching! Thanks for all that! I had a wonderful time!!!

Guys in the Wreck shop were amazing, very funny, nice and always ready to help. Girls in yoga studio dispose such an expertise and I enjoyed great classes. Surf lessons felt like from a real american movie - so easy going and helpful instructors making it funny anytime. Definitely coming back! Thanks a lot!

A beautiful location for surfing and yoga just such a shame as i was not introduced to any yoga but after mentioning it to the managers they made changes. The receptionist told me I did not have yoga included when I asked about the 11am class. Enjoyed my yoga but would recommend having a chilled spot to practice in.

Such a shame they had a drunk young crowd throughout my stay. The pushing in during meals was tiresome!

More of a surf youth camp, not yoga retreat so should not be on bookyogaretreats.

Manager Ritch and assistant manager Matt could not have been more helpful as they got on the case straight away!

Accommodation was magical and right on the beach so I did manage to escape from the chaos of the camp.

Unfortunately not the yoga surf retreat I had in mind but I still enjoyed myself. Thank goodness I booked my own private water front cabin or I would have left.

Food was nutritious and tasty. Need to have more of a variety as wraps for lunch everyday got boring but Healthy and good for working out..

B the surfing instructor was amazing !!! so enthusiastic, approachable and friendly. I like peaceful surfing so having my one on one experience with her was the best and really felt relaxed. Not having to worry about 50 others in the water during the same lesson was bliss! Managers organised this for me :) My experience with spot x was great, I would visit again knowing they are improving the yoga and getting it more involved in the camp. Such a magic location

All the mojo surf instructors were super friendly and helpful. I loved how it was all inclusive so I didn’t have to worry about anything.

I loved everything about this trip, the location, the cool hostel, the people I met, the mojo team, everything! I would definitely recommend it, I went in June which is winter there so it was not that hot and it was not as full as it is on summer which can be an advantage to some or a disadvantage to others! For me it was incredible! Plus you get more one on one time in the surf lessons.
