My experience in Lanzasurf was amazing. I had the opportunity to meet new people with positive vibes and very professional surfers. Marco was really helpful and patient with me as I am beginner surfer. I had also good time doing skate surf with Glauco. My best moment was the preparation before surfing to the surf school. Everybody are very professional and with a positive attitude to make you feel welcomed.

The teachers really have a passion for surfing. Deejan taught us a lot. We also surf at home, but in 5 days of lessons we really improved because of his lessons!

Famara is a very unique surf village with a good atmosphere, tasty food, and a few cozy little bars. Everything you need.

We had a private room with a shared kitchen and bathroom, everything you needed was there and it was clean and everything had been thought of.

I would love to go back to this place again!! Thank you Lanzasurf!!

Great value for money. Accommodation is nice and clean. Self-catered with a snack provided during full day surf session. Yoga class was great - the perfect activity post surf. The surf instructors amend the time of the sessions based on the tides and best surf.

Yoga: I am doing yoga more than 2 years no stop and all the yoga courses were fabulous.

School is perfectly organised, instructors are friendly, patient and helpful, so is the manager at the reception. Price is super reasonable. Accommodation they helped me to find was sweet , especially the host, Inma.

Le village de Famara est très beau. On est immergé dans la vie du village et des locaux. Le surf était très bien globalement. Le yoga aussi. Les bungalows sont cosy mais manque un peu de nettoyage plus régulier. Aussi, le dortoir de 6 était un peu étouffant par moment (petite fenêtre qui donne sur une cour). La cuisine est bien mais manquait un peu d'équipements. Dans l'ensemble j'ai quand même passé un excellent séjour. Les personnes rencontrées à la fois à travers les activités et les moniteurs et personnels du srf camps étaient adorables et très chill. Bonne ambiance garantie.

My husband, son (19) and I came here with different levels of experience in surfing. The lanzasurf team were very adaptable and also flexible. I had a knee injury and they were so caring (Dejan even bought me a knee strap which was so sweet) I loved that the groups were small (around 8-10 max) per instructor. And the WhatsApp group is very lively so always makes us feel connected. We left feeling like they were family and made great friends during our 5 day retreat. 💕 We definitely hope to be back.

Amazing first surfing experience guided by the passionate and energetic Lanzasurf family with lots of fun and positive vibes! At the end of the day what can be better then to relax with yoga. And next morning again start the new day with cup of coffee from the balcony overlooking the ocean…

Had the best week of surfing and yoga with the Lanzasurf crew. I hadn't surfed for a few years so was a bit rusty but the instructors were all amazing and I was up on the board in no time! Shoutout to Dejan, Rui and Glauco for making every session so enjoyable and taking the time to help me progress. They were really attentive, gave great feedback and I always felt super safe in the waves! I was so sad to leave!

The yoga in the evenings was a great addition after a day of hard work in the waves. The teachers were amazing and adapted the sessions to the vibe/ needs of the group. I always came away in a great mood and feeling restored.

The whole experience was so easy which was really important to me as a solo traveller. Famara is a quaint but beautiful place and provided a perfect break from my normal city life which was very needed!

I look forward to returning at some point in the future!

Fantastic instructors who were extremely passionate and professional. Adapted to the surf conditions and all levels of surfers joining in. Lots of great advice and many fun stories. Very good yoga sessions after a full day of surfing, cannot wait for my return trip.

Beautiful Place and Stuff.

The house was clean and cozy. Close to the beach and the small town center. The surf lessons were really good, even though they are group lessons the instructors were focusing on everyone giving specific advice. I improved a lot a plan to come back soon! Thank you guys <3

Der Ort ist zwar klein, aber richtig schön gelegen und es gibt ein paar gute Kaffees und Restaurants. Die Surfstunden waren super und haben wirklich Spaß gemacht. Auch das Yoga und die Massage sind zu empfehlen. Man lernt schnell viele nette Menschen kennen. Ich komme gerne mal wieder 😊

If you're thinking about doing a surf course in Lanzarote then Lanzasurf is the best option! I had the best time staying at the surf house and met the best people. My instructor Rui was very attentive, professional, passionate and friendly. The other instructors from lanza were also very helpful. I had a few personal issues and the staffs from Lanza helped me to sort things out very quickly and professionally. The view from Famara is to die for, and staying in Lanzarote is definitely the highlight of my Europe trip!

I had an amazing experience. It was my first time travelling solo and surfing. The people I met were super nice, and I made new friends. The house was in a great spot right in front of the beach, and I woke up early just to take in the beauty of it all. The surfing experience was incredible, and my instructors were always there to help. I felt like I was safe and in great hands, and I enjoyed my lessons and sharing the experience with like-minded people, even though we all came from different places and backgrounds. That's the beauty of it, isn't it? I will definitely come back in the future! Thanks for this beautiful experience!

I had a great time with lanzasurf. I've learn to stand up on a board in few days, starting from scratch. Instructors we had were great, fun and focus on our progress. Special thanks to instructor Ruis for his commitment and enthousiasme.

Also the administration team is very helpfull if you need anything during your trip. They help me to rent a car or plan some visits.

This is so much more than I expected. A loving family of kind people who love what they do. I learnt so much throughout the week an met new friends. Surfing is now my thing!

It was my first time surfing and I really enjoyed it. All the instructors are very nice 😊 Ali always caught me good waves. Carina‘s smile gave me calm and comfort in water. Dejan is an excellent instructor. His individual advices really help me to improve. Marco brought me to a next level in yoga 🧘🏻‍♂️ Lanzasurf gives me amazing experiences. The surf house is also very nice, just right next to the beach. The people I met are all super cool 😎 I had a great time there 💗

Die Leute waren sooo freundlich, unkompliziert aber auch sehr diszipliniert fuer den Umgang auf dem Wasser. Ich stand das erste mal auf dem Board, war am dritten Tag bereits im Line-Up und am 5. haben wir geuebt Kurven zu fahren 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I really loved the beach in famara and all the surf instructors. Especially Charly, Janni, Evandro and Edu. Also the vibe if you are staying in one of the lanzasurf houses. When you become big family with all the other people staying there.

Fantastische tijd gehad in Famara met Lanzasurf. Niet alleen was de begeleiding tijdens de surflessen zeer professioneel, maar ook de sfeer was telkens top - zowel in als naast het water. De surfhuisjes zijn dik in orde. Ik kom so-wie-so terug. Bedankt Lanzasurf!

I loved my stay at Lanzasurf (first two weeks of February).

The surf classes are fun and took me from zero to surfing white and some green waves in a week. Dejan and his colleagues are very dedicated and bring an amazing spirit to their work. Yoga classes (after surf) were easy Hatha sequences ideal for bringing your body back in balance after the surf day. Famara is a beautiful location with a laid back vibe. There was a WhatsApp group for the surf class, used to make dinner appointments and shared photos and videos. I joined the group dinner right after arriving in Famara and felt very welcome.

What’s not to like- waves and stoke.

Instructors were great. Déjà foxed my pop up, Charley made my surfing jump a level and Martin was a great hype man. Jimena and Danique were so welcoming.

And the kitesurfing was wicked as well,

I want to come back, for longer, do the safari too.

Teachers had a great overview and specific feedback for each of us. I got to improve my surfing ability with the help of the instructors. Yoga in the evening was perfect to balance the stress on my body.

Perfect teachers and organization. I loved my stay there and would recommend it to anyone anytime.

From the people that I met there, to the surf and yoga lessons, everything was just perfect and exceeded all my expectations. I had a great time at Lanzasurf school. Both surf and yoga were great. Throughout my week in Famara I had two teachers, Leo and Dejan. Both were very helpful and taught me new things about surfing. I was really pleased with Dejan's teaching approach with a lot of detailed feedback given tailored to each individual student. Dejan also teaches a surfskate class that I took, and the same excellent coaching skill was shown in it too. Everyone else at the school was also very helpful with whatever query I had during the week. Together with the great company of my fellow students from different parts of Europe it made my week in Caleta de Famara a memorable experience.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié cette semaine de surf combinée à des cours de yoga chaque soir. Deux activités très complémentaires. L'ambiance à Lanza Surf est toujours bonne, belles rencontres.

Everything was fantastic, location, facilities, all of the staff, at reception, cleaners, and of course the instructors and yoga teachers.

Such a wonderful experience with a great spirit and attitude towards everyone who participated, they really engaged in a way that brought people together, beginners and experienced surfers, that made us all feel completely at ease.

Creating a Whats app linkso we could all keep in-touch , to share the amazing videos that were filmed at every session so we have beautiful record and memories to show our friends and family at home, and of course arrange to meet up for drinks/meals together in the evenings.

The videos also help to support how we can improve our surf skills by watching how we have progressed, and believe me you will definitely progress during your sessions with the advice and tips the instructors give you. Jan and Leo are not on your drop down lists but they deserve a mention for their brilliant contributions.

Karen and I both think this was our best ever holiday not just because of all of the above credits, but also the friendliness of the people we met at Lanzasurf, the vibe and attitude really creates a family when we are all having such a good time.

Definitely be back, and hopefully later this year.

For now it's on with a 5mm wetsuit, hood, gloves and shoes to surf the 4 degree water in Scoltand. AAAaargghhhh!!

El curso de 🏄‍♀️ para mi , siendo principiante, me ha gustado un montón. Lo profesores estaban siempre muy motivados y dispuestos a ayudar.

El yoga tmb muy bueno, con el ruido del mar y del viento, y los profesores siempre interesados en que a todos les guste. El alojamiento muy bueno, y limpio y a unos pasos del mar. Mucha gente guay y de mente abierta. Hemos pasado casi todo el día con los compañeros del hostal, comiendo juntos , charlando etc:)) casi sin usar el móvil 👍🏼😀 Desconexión total y semana deportiva con gente guay en un sitio paradisiaco 🥰🥰

The team in Lanzasurf is considering each surfer as a member of the family and it makes you feel welcome, the surf lessons were intense which makes you work on specific techniques and progress very quickly.

Everything was perfect. Teachers are really kinds, the accommodation is located near to the beach and I enjoyed staying in this positive energy. So, I recommand Lanzasurf.

Dejan, our surf instructor, was so positive and passionate about surfing that he let us feel very comfortable and at ease during the whole time and gave us such constructive feedback. He even took photos and videos every day to improve our skills! We loved the time with him and the other Lanzasurfers - it felt like being with an amazing big family! We stayed in the surfhouse apartment with another couple and it was perfectly located as it was so close to the beach and the surf school. The evening yoga sessions with Marco completed our days perfectly - we enjoyed every single moment on the island! We would recommend Lanzasurf to everyone.

I had amazing holidays thanks to Lanzasurf. The surf classes were just perfect, the teachers are super professional, patient, kind and funny (special thanks to Dejan, my teacher). They take times to explain everything about surfing (board, waves, stand up nicely, etc) and when it comes to practice, they are always with us in the water, which is helping a lot. I never had such a good time surfing (even if I was a beginner). The yoga classes are also super nice, especially after a day of surf. Wow - during my 1-week stay I had an amazing experience surfing with these guys!

I absolutely loved every moment of it! As you arrive for your first lesson and get to know everyone, you immediately feel part of their big surf-family. The team is friendly, professional and highly skilled at teaching you the basics of surfing. I was especially impressed in how they accurately kept track of everyone's progress once in the water and individually providing feedback on what to improve next. As soon as I took the next wave I felt an improvement each and everytime.

You really felt the entire team's passion and for surfing and their genuineness in teaching and commecting people with all aspects of the surfing culture. I spend most of my 6-days lessons with Dejan as an instructor (what an incredible man - I love you!!!). Everytime I or others hit a wall he just had a magical way of putting me and everyone else back in the right mindset - which is such an important part of the enitre learning process. The way he transposed and educated us on all aspects of becoming a better surfer was so captivating and motivating that I eventually added 2 more surfing lessons because I felt so inspired on furthering my technique.

Ultimately, I was totally in awe in how they also helped everyone to connect outside of the lesson to further enjoy the island's attractions and make my stay most memorable. At the end of it, I was totally not surprised to hear that many people I was taking the class alon

The instructors, Raul and Gordon, were amazing. Couldn’t be more friendly or more knowledgeable. I learnt so much in 3 sessions, I really noticed my progression and I know feel way more confident in my surfing.

The accommodation was also great, basic, but clean, tidy and very comfortable, with a great balcony and excellent views.

Knowledgeable and experienced surf tutors give a mix of useful theory and individualised practical feedback, enabling the development of your technique throughout the week. The school also offers a good variety of yoga styles (including aerial yoga) that balance out the physical demands of surfing, as well as a great massage to iron out the everyday kinks. Overall, the school’s team deeply care, sharing their passion and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere!

Sympa de changer tous les jours pour compléter notre apprentissage après est-ce bon pour le suivi et la progression notamment quand on est débutant ?

Le concept de la surf house est très sympa après j'aurais bien vu les toilettes séparées de la salle de bain car nous sommes 8 par logement.

Le lunch est surprenant (fruits et barres chocolatées) mais c'est très bien pour repartir l'après-midi sans être trop lourd.

I liked that the instruction and teaching is given in and out of the water. The individual attention able to be given to each surfer is good because the group sizes aren’t too large and the fun atmosphere added to each lesson by the instructors made every day enjoyable

All in all it was a perfect vacation! Nice people, beautiful place, fun surfing and relaxing yoga, nothing more to wish for!

The location was perfect to learn to surf. Famara has a lovely vibe, a supermarket, lots of cafes and restaurants and quite a few surf shops.

The surf instruction was great all of the instructors really invest their time in getting to know you and assisting with your own personal style.

The yoga was very nice every morning and I got to experience aerial yoga with silks which was special!

I travelled alone and felt perfectly safe meeting like minded friends in the apartment. We gelled well together as a group and socialised most evening together.

There’s lots of space and time for relaxing or running! The location is slightly baron with a magical feeling.

The team is super committed in teaching you the best surf technics fitting your level and making sure you are enjoying your stay. You can't image how satisfied will you feel at the end of the course.

Yoga classes are perfect to stretch your body before and after any surf class. Ensure sure you try all the different yoga styles.

Make sure you book your accomodation for a couple of days more than the surf classes. You will enjoy a small break to let your body recover. Ask the team to book a car for you and visit this stunning island during the break.

Famara beach is a unique landscape. The instructors were passionate and enthusiastic. Surf lessons were fun. Yoga sessions were very relaxing and I loved the airial yoga one. Met lovely people and had a very energising and refreshing week. Thank you all in Lanzasurf family:).

I thought I had had surfing lessons before - I was mistaken! The guys at Lanzasurf are incredible instructors, in different ways. Marcio (not sure if I spelt that right!) is probably the most passionate person I’ve ever met about the ocean, and Dejan was meticulous in his teaching. Dejan in particular really focused on improving what you individually needed to work on, which almost felt like private lessons.

I am most definitely not a natural surfer, so don’t worry if that’s you too! They adapt to your level, be it beginner or something else. If you want to learn properly, this is the retreat! The yoga was excellent too, very chilled & focused on recovery from the surfing. The instructors were lovely & I particularly enjoyed the aerial yoga!

I did 5 days in a row of surfing, which I probably wouldn’t recommend - a day off would be better to recover a little.

Famara beach is amazing - one of the most beautiful locations you will find - and the Lanzasurf instructors are excellent.

My holiday with Lanzasurf was one of the greatest experiences I ever made. Staying at the Surfhouse was a good decision, I met so many beautiful people and had a lot of fun. Furniture etc. is basic but comfortable. The surf lessons have been absolutely amazing, my teachers were Dejan and Gordon who both have a really calm and relaxed way of teaching. Also they're never too serious and always reminding the group to have fun. I can really recommend doing the Yoga classes too, since it is a great preparation for the surfing day.

Many thanks and love to the whole lanzasurf-team and especially to Dejan and Gordon who always made me feel safe and motivated. You guys taught me important lessons for surfing and life! I will take many of your advices with me wherever I go, especially the most important: just try to look cool :-) i will come back for sure! Aloha,

All the staff of Lanzasurf is very friendly, professional and welcoming. You really feel like with a group of firends. They teach you how to surf but also they share their experiences and transmit their passion. Carol is very kind and professional. I also recommend the yoga class either in the morning or in the afternoon because it really make you feel better and the instructors Evandro and Marco are both very good.

I really liked, that everyone was very motivated to make it a perfect holiday for me. Carol organised an amazing horse ride for me and she arranged everything for that I asked for. Dejan was patient and every time in a good mood and motivated to show us how to surf, with his knowledge. How he teached us I could improve my surfing. Lanzasurf created a beautiful place in famara with good vibes where it was easy to connect to people and have a good time.

I learned a lot from Gordon and Dejan about surfing but also about the sea and the waves themselves. The lessons were instructive and very entertaining and funny.

Just everything ! The spot, the surf lessons, the teachers... everything was nice. This has been a fun and relaxing week. A special thank to the surf teachers (Gordon & Dejan), who are very competent and help us a lot to improve our techniques.

Dejan and Gordon have been excellent instructors: they are able to transfer the passion for this sport. Thanks to them I really learnt much more than expected, from the theory to practical tricks and techniques that I finally managed to put in practice.

Great people! Lots of smiles each day, lots of positive energy, a happy place :) A perfect way to combine vacation with some sports and if you really want to learn surfing, or just have some surf fun do it here! It’s perfect for young, old, solo or families. All the surf instructors and their lessons were very very good and addressing individual needs. Most of the yoga lessons in the afternoon were perfectly designed to stretch the muscles after an exhausting but super fun surf day. If you want to explore the island I would definitely recommend taking a car, Carol can arrange this. All in all an excellent time with a great team, each one of them..and Carol, lovely Carol ❤️

Great spot, great atmosphere all along the week, great instructors, all passionate surfers, I had an amazing time with Lanzasurf! I really enjoyed learning to surf in the most beautiful beach of Lanzarote. The Yoga course: great as well. It was highly appreciable after a long day of surf. I definitely recommend the experience!! The daily surf lessons are amazing! The instructors are really attentive, they make sure to cover the theory and then give plenty of time in the sea to practice. The allocated instructor will coach you and help you get cruising on the surf board in no time! The lessons accommodate all levels of surfing experience and as a novice surfer I was thrilled to be standing on the board after just one lesson.

The afternoon yoga classes complement the surfing perfectly by helping relax the muscles and reducing the pain the next day.

All the staff at Lanzasurf are really helpful and friendly. I was travelling alone but felt like I was amongst friends.

I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore surfing and enjoy an activity filled holiday in the sun.

I wanted 1 Week of Sea, Nature, Relaxation, Surfknowlege and great people. Got it all. Loved the trip! Even if i was quite afraid of the waves - the Instructors really helped me to overcome that fear. The Lanzasurf Team is amazing. Very kind, motivated, professional and patient people!! Also appreciated the yogalessons and the skatelessons i took!! <3 Absolutely recommend this school and place for a Surf and Yoga Camp!

It was an amazing experience. I travelled alone and met lots of new and lovely people. The accommodation provides the basics and perfect environment to get to know others. The location is perfect for people trying to get away for the fast pace and city life. The surfing classes are brilliant, they are divided into groups of ability and adapted around tide times. Also, very informative. I would suggest all levels of surfers will enjoy these classes and the great waves. Yoga classes were also brilliant and helped ease out any sore muscles after surfing but at your own level. All enjoyed with sun and beautiful volcanic landscape.

Loved the positivity of the Lanzasurf team, as well as the community spirit! Instructors were organised but easy going and adaptive to the group's needs from beginners to experienced surfers. House was very comfortable and great view of the dunes and sea - great place for morning coffee and chill.

De surflessen waren geweldig. Helaas kon één surfdag niet doorgaan ivm het weer maar hiervoor boden ze een top alternatief namelijk skateboarden. Daar leer je ook goed de surftechniek van en was erg leuk! Snacks/lunch had iets uitgebreider gemogen, er was bijv. geen sandwich voor vegetariers.

The surf instructors were AMAZING ! So professional and learned so many things about surfing, the ocean , the waves and even the weather. ( we now know that static electrictity comes before a hail storm ;) ) . Also the YOGA was great, it helped keeping our muscles lean as well as the massage provided by a real physiotherapist. If you really want to learn surfing, go to Lanzasurf!

I loved Famara beach. The village was beautiful and quiet, perfect for getting away.

The instructors were excellent. They were patient, supportive and valued everybody, no matter if they were beginners or more advanced.
