Comfort Tent
The Comfort Tents are fully equipped and feature a cozy, boutique style. Each tent is furnished with two single beds and plenty of storage space for all your belongings.
Safari Tent
The beautiful glamping Safari Tent is also a very popular tent at Surfcamp Moliets! It's situated on a wooden deck and features three bunk beds, sleeping a total of six people. This tent can be booked as either a shared or private option.

Lessons
Surfing is fun, but it's even more fun if you know what you're doing! That's why Surfcamp Moliets offers surf lessons with SurfBlend's own certified surf coaches. They have completed intensive training and can teach you to surf safely and responsibly during your surfing holiday in France. They'll tell you all about the ocean, Moliets-Plage beach, the equipment, and surfing itself.
Surf lessons are offered daily, and each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. When you book a surf lesson, you'll receive the surf equipment for use during the lessons free of charge. If you'd like to practice more outside of lessons, you can choose the additional Surf Rental options.
Surfcamp Moliets offers a small package with 3 surf lessons and a medium package with 5 surf lessons. SurfBlend divides the groups by level: beginners and intermediates. You can indicate your preference when booking your surfing holiday in France. (Surfing lessons must be booked in advance)
Rental
Already a surfer and want to explore the waves on your own? Or would you like to practice more outside of lessons? No problem, you can choose from two Surf Rental options. This way, you have unlimited use of the surf equipment.
- Basic surf rental: When you choose the Basic rental option, you get access to the surf equipment used during lessons. This allows you to practice as much as possible, even outside of lessons. The rental is valid for the entire week and starts on Sunday morning. You also get a free theory lesson, so you know how to use it.
- Surf rental premium: The Premium option not only gives you access to everything included in the Basic rental, but also allows you to use the entire Softdogsurf quiver. These are cool soft-top boards in all shapes and sizes. Great fun to experiment with and suitable for beginners and pros alike.
Surf spots
Moliets-Plage is a fantastic beach for surfing! There are several peaks along the beach where you can find great waves.
- Houdini's: When you cross the river heading north, you'll find a fantastic left-hander after a 100-meter walk. This surf spot is known to the Surfblend team as Houdini's. It's a wave you can really let loose on and disappear into the barrel. Houdini's is most effective on mid to incoming tides. If you're too late at high tide, it's best to wait until the tide goes out.
- The Wave: If you walk all the way from Moliets surf camp to the other side, past the swimming area and beach entrance, you'll arrive at "The Wave." Here you'll find a beautiful, long, right-hand wave. If you catch this wave at the right point, you can ride it perfectly all the way to the beach. Want to surf "The Wave" during your surfing holiday in France? Be sure to check it out at low tide. The Wave gets its name from the beautiful course just behind the dune.
- The River: Right in front of the Moliets surf camp in southern France, this spot is on the river. This surf spot is the shortest walk from Moliets surf camp. At the mouth of the river, sturdy sandbars form on both sides, creating various peaks. They recommend surfing just to the left of the river. There are both left- and right-hand waves here. Perfect for your surfing holiday in France!

Situated between Bordeaux and Biarritz, the coastline is teeming with beautiful spots and the undiscovered surf spots of southern France. Moliets-Plage is a must-see for surfers who enjoy exploring the beaches surrounding the Moliets Surf Camp. The beach in front of the camp is enormous, and the numerous sandbars offer a variety of beach breaks. Because there are several peaks, the crowds are well-distributed. So be sure to explore the beach thoroughly, as you'll find great waves in various spots depending on the tide!
Moliets is a typical Landes holiday village with many charming restaurants, lively bars, and several surf shops. After surfing, you can enjoy a relaxing meal or shop to your heart's content during your surfing holiday in France. There's also a market twice a week where you can pick up some nice things and sample local delicacies.
There's also a party in the village itself every night! You can join the surf camp crew and other guests in Moliets for a drink at L'Open Café. Here, you can dance the night away to the sounds of various live bands and DJs every night of your French surf holiday.

Besides surfing, SurfBlend's Surf Camp in Moliets also offers fun and action! There's a mini ramp, perfect for skating, and you can borrow longboards for free. Every week, there's a beach volleyball contest with great prizes! After sunset, it's time to socialize at the camp bar with a welcome drink, karaoke, a quiz, and cozy evenings. Yoga
Surfing is synonymous with yoga. Yoga is incredibly helpful for balance, strength, and muscle recovery after a tough surf session. It's also just incredibly relaxing and chill. If you're interested, you can discover the beauty of yoga with our yoga instructor during your surfing holiday in France. Book the yoga package on-site and enjoy all three sessions.
The early morning session lets you enjoy a beautiful sunrise, while the second additional session focuses more on loosening your muscles, perfect for returning to the water at Moliets-Plage the next day feeling rejuvenated. Arrival by airplane
More and more guests are choosing to travel by plane for their surf trip, and with good reason, as flights are becoming increasingly cheaper and more frequent. For your surf holiday in France, the following options are best:
- Amsterdam – Bordeaux: Transfers to the surf camp in the South of France from the plane can be booked yourself.
- Brussels Charleroi – Biarritz
Arrival by bus
Every Friday, the buses depart from the Netherlands and Belgium for the surf camp. They leave in the late afternoon or early evening, so you can sleep on the bus and wake up close to the surf camp.
The buses are modern and comfortable, and they work exclusively with reputable partners. Everyone is allowed one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage. Pillows and/or sleeping bags may be brought separately. You can bring a surfboard on the bus for a small additional fee. After your fun-filled surfing holiday in France, the bus departs Saturday evening from the surf camp in the South of France, heading for Belgium and the Netherlands. You'll arrive home on Sunday.

Arrival by car
It is possible to park near the Moliets surf camp to unload your gear, but after unloading, you will have to move the car to the general parking lot outside the campsite.
