Secret Surf School Tenerife

Valeria and Franco - top notch. Poris is a quiet town so you need a car. Functional accommodation with swimming pool. A great getaway. Did too many surf days in a row - should have split it up - say 2-1-1 with a day off in between. Great place to chill. Its quite windy so keeps the rooms cool. For the cost and experience you dont get much better 10/10. Did I learn to surf - I think I got 2 seconds before inhaling alot of water.

The instructors Valeria and Gianfranco are super kind and thoughtful, they make sure that the guests have everything they need. They stay available at all times. About the surfing, Gianfranco was great, very clear, patient and talented for teaching. Very suited for beginners as well as for more advanced surfers. In the days without wind I could do stand up paddling, snorkelling and biking. All in all it was great fun and relax. The little town is a small paradise, the apartment is excellent, the weather was gorgeous during Christmas week, I will come back for sure. Thanks so much guys!!

The surfing was excellent and Israel did a great job helping people of varying abilities.

I liked that it wasn't a touristic spot, yet everything else is easily accessible (by car at least). All the staff is very friendly, laid back and helpful. It's a great team, that put passion in what they do. Thank you for the experience! Looking forward to going back there again :)

The camp itself is great, close to the surf shop and the beach. I loved the people at the hostel. Very friendly and always ready to help and share! I liked the accomodation and the common spaces, everything clean and well kept. I liked the 100% availability of equipment in the shop and the help provided in mounting everything in the car. Of course always following "el ritmo canario" ;)

The village was lovely: authentic and quiet. The bay was safe for SUP and Israel gave me the confidence to soon be able to paddle on my own. People were so relaxed, kind and welcoming. It reminded me that there is still a lot of kindness and care in the world.

To simply put it - I loved it. The vibe was amazing. Great people working there! Loads of laughs and loads of smiles. Relaxed atmosphere and our instructor was super flexible and adapted to each person's needs! Oh, and I loved the music. To sum up - I hope to come back!

Great location if you want to get away from the crowd, with cute restaurants and nice hiking paths in the area.

Very attentive staff: Francesca was great at hosting & Israel, the surf instructor was very good at making people feel comfortable in the waves and to challenge them step by step. Also I was offered alternative activities(SUP-padling, snorkeling) if the waves were too low to surf.

Our instructor Israel was fantastic, the school as a whole was great!

The accommodation was clean and as advertised.

Most of the staff were super friendly and made you feel welcome.

The people running the surf house were so warm and friendly and helpful. The barbecues were amazing- you get to meet everyone and eat some of the BEST food.

Israel the instructor is incredibly patient and kind, even when we struggled with the very basics of surfing, he made sure to give us extra tips, help and time to practice.

The memories I made on this trip are priceless and it would not have been as amazing without the genuinely incredible people running everything!

Atmosphere in the surf house was amazing. Staff there is really helpful and kind. Surf lessons with Israel was amazing with excellent sense of humor. I definitely can recommend this offer!

The accommodation is set in a beautiful villa, clean and perfectly equipped. The guys of the staff are cool, friendly and very professional too. Surf classes take place in the morning, the instructors are friendly and helpful, always working to keep a good atmosphere and take the spirits high! I would def recommend it to anyone who's looking forward to learn how to surf and wanting to have a good time in Tenerife :-)

It was a really good time, spent in El Poris with the Secret Surf School! Best place to start surf: no so many tourists, good waves, perfect atmosphere! The best istructors, who helped me so much with the surfing technics (I thought before I'll never do it, but with their advices it wasn't hard at all)! Thank you Valeria, Franco and Israel!

The Surf camp as well is so nice place to stay! Staff is really nice, I get a lot of new friends! Hope I'll come back one day)

I felt like home in a different Country. Its such a nice place. If you are thinking about Booking it, don't hesitate just do it, you won't regret it, -promise :)

Had a great time learning to surf with Gianfranco & Miguel. Actually the whole team & experience was awesome! Yoga, the atmosphere and people at the hostel: super relaxed and world open - perfect retreat.

The hostel itself was very chilled out with two kitchens, a pool table, wifi, beautiful terrace, clean, solid breakfast ... next to a local supermarket ... with a very nice tapas bar at walking distance... who could possibly ask for more.

Was so good I'm planning to return with my whole family. Actually that's what I'm doing right at this very moment - planning my return.
