Lisbon Surf Villa

Super Lage, nur 5 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zum Strand und das Surfen hat viel Spaß gemacht. Ricardo ist super nett und hilfsbereit! Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet und unser Zimmer war gemütlich.

We were at the vacation with my friend, it was my very first time of surfing, but Simon was really into the process and tried to help us to understand how to stand up at the board

It was really fun, the waves were great to start surfing

About the villa, I felt it like we came to our friends’ house even though we didn’t know anyone. Everyone was really friendly, kind, we were talking and laughing a lot. Ricardo came to the villa every morning to make us delicious breakfast and to chat a little bit.

Also the location was great, you can walk to the ocean for 10 minutes or drive a bike (that is provided) for 5 minutes.

On the beachside there are wonderful restaurants, the best octopus, that I’ve had, and fresh fish!

And we also had a yoga lesson for additional payment, it helped me to relax after surfing, get all my body calmed, at the end of the lesson we’ve got individual advices, on what we should focus more, it was really precious.

So I for sure will remember this vacation for a long time! Thank you a lot!!!

Accommodation was perfect and just a stones throw from immaculate beach and surf.

Surf school was fantastic, amazing location a bit further out with consistent surf and less people so tonnes of space to rip! Instructors were awesome and helped progress very quickly highly recommend!!!

Mir hat der Aufenthalt in Ricardos Surfcamp sehr gefallen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab alles was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Ich hätte mir keinen besseren Aufenthalt irgendwo anders vorstellen können. Ich kann dieses Surfcamp zu 100% weiterempfehlen und werde wieder kommen.

Arnaldo was so hospitable and accomodating. We couldn’t surf the first two days because the weather conditions weren’t good but he made sure that I at least got some surfing in before I left! Ricardo was a really nice host, very friendly during our 4 days surf camp. The house is pretty well located, the beach is near by walking as well as supermarkets and restaurants. You can also use for free the bicycles what save you time when moving from one place to the other. We would completely recommend you to stay here.

The villa was very very beautiful and clean with plenty of showers and toilets for guests. Ricardo was very nice and welcoming always being just one message away for anything you need or want. Breakfast and bikes included to give you energy and easily travel all of Caparica. Location is perfect having the entire coast free to surf and watch the sunset and Lisbon being a short and cheap Uber away for day/night trips into the city. Would recommend and thinking of visiting again!

Everything was fantastic, the spot is sweet for beginner and intermediate surfers, the accommodation was great value for money. Ricardo is very chill and was willing to help us with everything we asked for :)

We had a great time Surfing and shared the villa with great housemates. The Villa has a cozy living room and open kitchen. It’s well organized and everyone has its own space.

Surfing classes could be added spontaneously and you could ask Ricardo anytime about surfing.

The hospitality of the host Ricardo and the surf instruction by Hugo were excellent! The 8hrs of surf camp instruction (over two full days) was extremely valuable and incredibly fun... I learned and progressed a lot. I also loved chilling in the casual and comfortable vibe of the villa (awesome original B&W photography on the walls and the surf inspired decore) which was secure, well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well organized and clean for preparing meals and the inclusive outdoor breakfast with an international group of surf students was a real treat. My room and bed was super comfortable and clean. Location was also excellent with a close 5 minute ride (bikes provided) to the beach and proximity to the town of Costa da Caparica. Will definately come back with the whole family. Muito Obrigado!

everyone was really kind and welcomming

Hosts were amazing- organised shuttles to the further beaches as well as brought us by 5mins bike/12 walk to the closer one for surf classes. Classes are small so you get attention from teachers. Also various level groups so you can graduate to another level soon too.

Accommodation was great too- everything you might need for a surf camp. We also had nice breakfasts at the villa with other surfers staying at the house.

Very good location, just 5 minutes to the beach with bike. After the surf classes you can also rent the board and wetsuit to surf by yourself or just stay at the beach for whole afternoon. It seems has a cooperation with another surf school, but the instructors there are very professional and friendly. Most of us could catch the waves and stand up in third or fourth class. We usually know the time and place for surf class one day before, but if you want to change something, just tell Ricardo, he organizes everything and gives us many helpful advices!

We felt verry welcomed and Ricardo and the team did everything to make our stay fantastic! The surf lessons was beyond our expectations and the instructors was verry attentive. We would recomend everyone to visit this place!

I stayed at Lisbon Surf Villa for about a week and felt very at home and comfortable the entire. The surf instructors and lessons were great and I’ve come out of it learning a lot.

Very friendly, safe and friendly place to stay (I was with my 7 year old son). We really enjoyed our time due to good location, tasty breakfast, swimming pool, garden. This place offers you all u need to have a great time near the ocean, especially surf lessons!

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Die Villa und der Garten sind super schön. Das Wohnzimmer war super chillig und am Pool im Garten lässt es sich auch gut leben. Alternativ war der Strand (auch super schön) nicht weit weg.

Das Frühstück jeden Morgen war super. Nach dem Frühstück ging’s dann zum Surfen. Das war auch top! War alles super organisiert und hat viel Spaß gemacht :)

Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und werde sicher mal wieder kommen :)

I booked for 6 days at the Lisbon Surf villa (5 nights, 6 lessons, 2 lessons a day are possible)

I stayed at the Villa Surf Lisboa for 4 days in February, and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing time accompanied by curly waves. Once arrived I was greeted warmly in the Villa with all furnitures that you need to make a pleasant holiday time. The suggestions from supermarkets and beach and restaurant spots from Ricardo made the stay even more comfortable. The surf course was always extremely well structured considering the weather, the best waves, and beach spots according to the surfer's skills and levels. Miguel, the surfer teacher, was patient and careful to make sure that security and happiness in the water were the first priorities. After not surfing for 15 years as a self-taught surfer, and starting again with Miguel, he helped me solidify my surfing skills. The overall stay was not only a surf lesson camp but also I experienced the surfer life through Ricardo and Miguel and the rest of the team experiences. To make the most of my last surfing day Ricardo helped me until the final step of my stay in order to take the flight on time. All in all, it was a vvery pleasant holiday and experience. I will certainly come back again to expand my surfing time with a professional and funny team and superconfortable Villa. Thank you for your time :)

Ricardo is very kind and helpful, with a lot of good advices! With his team, they do the best to satisfy the surfers desires and provide super good lessons. I really had a great time, learning and discovering I teresting people!

Villa is really well placed, near the beaches and restaurants of Costa da Caparica (ask Ricardo where you can eat delicious meals for less euros). All accommodations put you in a coccoon you don't want to leave. See you next time guys!!

I think both Ricardo and the surf instructor tried to do the best out of the weather conditions.

Ricardo is a great host and who provides flexible booking options not only for an accommodation but also for surfing lessons. Always willing to help and give a good recommendations for many places. I enjoyed my stay in the villa very much because of the great service and feeling like home.

Surfing lessons were great, there is always enough instructors so you receive lot of attention especially as a beginner. There are usually three groups depending on skill level. All the instructors are super friendly and experienced. The classes are given on a beach which is not crowded so no need to worry about other surf schools or other surfers which is great for surfers who are not that experienced.

Villa is located in Caparica which is 20-30 min from Lisbon airport by car (Uber) and that is perfect for travellers who don't want to have any hassle with the transportation, perfect for spontaneous surf camps. The surf villa in cooperation with the surf school offers check-ins throughout the whole week which is really convenient and it is not limited by Monday to Sunday terms.

Villa has a great pool, outside terrace, and BBQ. Nearby fish shop gives you great opportunity to grill a fresh fish next to the pool after surf lessons and that is just the best! Grocery shop is just two minutes from the fish shop.

The atmosphere and organization of everything was excellent. Great first experience.

I had a great time - the house is really nice, clean and cozy. It's close to the beach, supermarket is nearby, good restaurants are at walking distance and and you can use the house's bicycles for free to reach more restaurants in the center of Caparica.

I met lots of nice people, as every day someone new was coming, and had a great time.

The breakfast buffet is good and you won't have to worry about getting hungry during your surf lessons :)

The town is very laid back and it's really close to Lisbon, which makes it easy to get to the airport and visit the city if you want to.

Alles war perfekt! 🌞 Die Lage ist super; man kommt mit dem Fahrrad sehr schnell zum Strand und wenn man in die Altstadt von Lissabon möchte gibt es auch zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, um schnell hinzukommen!

Das Haus ist toll ausgestattet, es gibt alles was man braucht und in der Küche, im Wohnzimmer und im Garten kann man super zusammen sitzen und lernt dort auch schnell andere Leute kennen 😊

Das Frühstück war lecker und definitiv ausreichend - es gab z.B. auch vegane Milch :)

Der Surfkurs hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und jeder einzelne der Surflehrer war sehr herzlich & hilfsbereit. Es ist ein ganz tolles Team, das ich auf jeden Fall vermissen werde! 💙

Ich hatte dort wirklich die beste Zeit und werde definitiv nächstes Jahr wieder kommen! 🏄🏼‍♀️

this hostel is such a pleasure! It's so charming and has such a family atmosphere. We stayed in the mixed bedroom and met many kind people. The whole hostel is very clean and comfy. The surflessons are the best with a daily pickup from the hostel. You can also easily get to Lisbon from the hostel.

Ricardo was so nice and helpful and made the best breakfast every day (the orange juice is awesome delicious).

We will definitely come back :)

Nice Host, a lot of freedom, very uncomplicated

Ricardo and his family made me feel very welcomed. He responded very fast about any enquiry before and during my stay. There is a really nice swimming pool in the back garden!

Close to city but very quite, good surfing locations nearby with option to be on different beach based on the conditions, exceptional service, friendly atmosphere, definitely it will become my mandatory stopover in Portugal

Arnaldo and Ricardo were so friendly and made me and the other guests feel really welcome! I went as a solo traveller just for three or four days, but the other people staying there were also great and we often ate together. The surf instructors were brilliant, helpful and motivating, and great teachers. Morning breakfasts were healthy and filling, and Ricardo kindly came to fix it early if we had earlier surf lessons, and there was a well equipped kitchen where I usually made my lunch or dinner if we didn’t go out for a meal.

It was really useful having bikes that we could borrow - just 5 minutes to the supermarket, or to go exploring a little bit further away.

Ricardo was Always available.... for questions, preparing breakfast even with variation for vegan/vegetariern, fresh orange juice....lightning fire-place for us in the evening, explaining all about tourist sights or for best restaurants, everything was great. The bikes are for free and good enough for the way to supermarket or beach. We stayed 10 nights in the Wave room and had 6 included surf-lessons (3 Lessons each Person) for additional Lessons Just had to Tell him one day before. The Transport to the surfing is included, they always go to the best spots. Classes for beginners and advanced peoplewith really engaged and good Surf teachers. One teacher for max. 6 people... equipment and wetsuits of high quality! The House and Garden has big common area. Also ist possible to make a barbecue to get to now wach other. Everything was perfect.

Das Zimmer war groß, hell und freundlich. Nach dem Frühstück wurden wir pünktlich eingesammelt und schon ging es an den Strand. Die Surfstunden waren super getimed und schwups will man mehr :) Gastgeber sowie Trainer waren mega gechillt, hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.
