Accommodatie

Programma
On this kite safari, you will get to see nearly 200 km of coastline from the sea, beginning in Tremembé and ending in Iguape, only 30 km from Fortaleza. You will experience all sorts of spots, but for the most part, you will find many flat water spots by the river-mouths, magroves, and in the lagoons that form on high tides.
It’s a guaranteed adventure. Travelling literally with the wind is an unforgettable experience. The pit stops are strategically chosen with 2 nights minimum in each place, allowing time not only to rest but also to really get to know each spot well.
This kite safari is limited to a maximum of 12 people and a minimum of 3. There will always be 1 or 2 guides in the water depending on the size of group.
It’s important to note that during the downwinds, the 4x4s won’t be able to follow the group along the beach at all times because of river mouths, mangroves, etc. that you’ll find along the way. During these parts, you may by all means go in the car if you wish. Guides are there not only to lead the group, but also to ensure the safety of the group during the downwinds. If they believe there’s anyone who doesn't have the necessary skills to ride along some advanced parts of the downwind, this person will have to go in the 4×4 during these parts for their own safety and the group’s as well.
It is recommended you bring 2 different sized kites, 2 bars, and 2 boards. To repair any type of material can be fairly complicated for the most part, which is why it is recommended to bring extra to avoid these types of situations. Also, one should bear in mind that being close to the equator, the sun is very strong, so a good quality waterproof sunscreen is a must. Zinc works very well. Sunglasses, long sleeve with UV protection, and a hat is always a good idea.

You’re likely to see just a handful of kites out at sea and you’ll be mixing with “kite locals’ - kite surfers who have been coming or living in Brazil for many years and who are always in search of newer and better spots.
