Normal shared tents
If you are traveling with a group of friends or alone and you are looking to have an amazing time, get to know new people from all over the world, and you don’t want to spend that much on a glamping tent, Dreamsea offers you a more economical option. These tents have two, three, or four individual beds and are shared. They are also bookable privately with an extra cost. Choosing this option does not mean losing comfort. These tents are made for eight people, so having enough room will not be a problem.
In case you would like to share a tent with your friends who you are traveling with, you can book it together. Dreamsea's sharing tents are perfect for friends, family, and solo travelers looking for a more affordable, fun, and social option. Located in the heart of the surf camp, you will not miss a thing from the surf week experience and have an amazing time.

All the facilities at the camp are shared, including toilets and bathrooms.
Pet-friendly
Dreamsea welcomes pets! Pets must be booked in a private room to sleep indoors and must remain leashed and under constant supervision.
Extras
All of Dreamsea's accommodations include bedding, a blanket, and power. No sleeping bag or duvet is needed. Towels are provided only in the glamping tents. Extra beds can be requested only in the glamping tents.
Campsite
At the campsite, you will find a pool area, a sand volleyball court, a café-restaurant, a mini ramp, a tiki bar, and free parking if you decide to visit by car.
Time to sleep
Quality rest is important. As a camp rule, no noise can be made after 11:00 p.m. Those who wish to continue partying late can visit the town outside the camp.

Dreamsea Surf Camp's surf programs have been carefully designed so that you can get the best out of the course, whether you are learning surfing for the first time or you are a more intermediate-advanced surfer.
Level 0: The basic
This is suitable for first-time surfers or for those who have surfed a few times before, but wish to get the right technique from the beginning to progress faster. Strong bases make better surfers! You will learn:
- Surf safety and beginner surf etiquette
- Beach awareness: understand the surf area and a safe entry place
- About the surfing equipment
- To paddle
- To stand up
- To select the waves
- To find the right position on your board and catch and ride small waves
- The techniques: efficient paddling, board control, standing up, and correct balancing stance
- Ratio: one instructor - eight students
Surf lessons
The basic surf camp provides five group surfing lessons (two hours each) with theory. Enough time to learn the basic techniques, stand up on the board, and have a lot of fun. Dreamsea Surf Camp's lessons include the introduction (one hour), the lesson (two hours), the theory (one hour and 30 minutes), and the equipment (soft-top boards, wetsuit, and leash). The schedule will be determined at the camp upon arrival and will depend on your level and the ocean conditions.
Beach
The camp is just a five-minute walk from the stunning Praia da Tocha Beach, where lessons will take place, and enjoy some beach activities, free surfing, sunbathing, and breathtaking sunsets. However, please remember to maintain the beach clean, return your equipment, and follow the environmental guidelines.
Board rental
Dreamsea Surf Camp's surfboards, including soft top and Pristine (single fin, twin fin, fun board, and longboard), as well as surf skating, are free to use, following their usage recommendations. A 50 EUR deposit and waiver sign-up will be required. Lessons will always have priority over usage.
Free surf
Praia da Tocha is an ideal spot for free surfing. There are many waves around, surrounded by amazing landscapes. Here are a few recommendations: always respect the surf etiquette and the locals, know your limits and surfing capacity, take care with the current, avoid crowded spots, and most importantly, stay safe and have fun.
Other experiences
You will meet people from all over the world and share amazing experiences together. From tours to Coimbra and Porto, exploring the local markets and traditional culture, to delightful concerts at the camp, you will dance, laugh, skate, play volleyball, cycle, party, or simply relax during movie nights. Dreamsea will have a flexible weekly plan that you will be free to join.
1. Beach volleyball tournament
After a few days in the camp, it will be time to see who has improved the most in playing beach volleyball. Join the tournament and win fantastic prizes - good fun guaranteed.
2. Ping pong challenge
There will also be a turn of the ping pong tournament! Show your skills with the table tennis bat in tough duels in the “arena” (sand).
3. Movie night
After dinner, a great movie will be shown at the chill-out tent. Join and have a relaxed evening kicking back with their special movie selection.
4. Theme parties, salsa lessons, or karaoke
Be creative and make some crazy costumes to fit in the awesome themed parties. Learn how to move and loosen your hips during their mojito party. Show your singing skills or break some eardrums during the karaoke nights.

If you already have enough experience to surf independently and want to have the fun of a surf camp experience, you can join Dreamsea Surf Camp without having lessons, with free access to all the facilities, including the surf equipment. You are also welcome to bring your own stuff if you prefer to. Again, the instructors will be at your disposal for any advice or recommendations about surfing.
Yoga lessons
Relax and replenish your mind and body through yoga. Yoga is a commonly known generic term for its physical, mental, and spiritual discipline whose origins lie in ancient India. One of the really good things about yoga is that when applied to surfing, it becomes the perfect complement for such an all-around athletic sport. You will stretch and try positions that will help your body compensate for the exertion from surfing. Add three yoga lessons to your activity package for just 40 EUR per week or the intensive package for 60 EUR for five lessons.

Arrival by plane
Please book your flight to arrive at Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO). This airport is the closest airport, at one and a half hours from the camp (depending on traffic). Dreamsea Surf Camp offers transfer services to make your way to the surf camp easier.
From Porto Airport (OPO) to the camp, pick-up times: 10:00 | 13:00 | 19:00 (available only on Saturdays)
- Early transfer: 07:15 | 11:15 | 15:45 (the time depends on the last guest’s arrival)
From the camp to Porto Airport (OPO), drop-off times: 07:00 | 10:00 | 14:00 (available only on Saturdays)
- Early or late transfer: The time depends on the first guest's departure
Note: All the transfers need to be booked at least seven days before arrival. The transfer manager will try their best to place you in the same car from the airport as other guests arriving at the same time if desired. If you will be coming by car, Dreamsea has free parking space at the campsite, where you can safely leave your car for a week or two.
Arrival by train
- Coimbra-B train station (45 minutes from the camp): Dreamsea Surf Camp strongly recommends booking your train tickets at least two weeks in advance, as there are limited seats on the local train. Dreamsea offers their service every day (15 EUR per person, one way), with flexible pick-up and drop-off services from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (grouped by similar arrival or departure times).
