        Good Instruction at Beautiful Encuentro Beach

        BoBo was a super thorough and patient instructor. My partner and I are beginners at surfing, and I really appreciated that BoBo really focused on the fundamentals of surfing so that we could walk away with a strong foundation. BoBo is a stern but pleasant and funny instructor who obviously takes his job and your safety very seriously. It was fun to learn from someone who was so passionate.

        The accommodations were humble but clean and spacious, with a pool and free breakfast included. It's located within a gated community and about a 7 minute walk to the beach. The surf lessons took place at a beach about 10 minutes away, but transportation to the beach is provided if you'd like, although my partner and I ended up renting a scooter so that we could better explore the area, which was fun. I highly recommend BoBo!
