During this program, you will be accommodated in apartments close to the center. It has free parking and it is good that it is close because, around the surf beach, there is a problem with parking. The terrace of the apartments has no sea views but it allows guests to enjoy a refreshing beverage on the hot summer evenings. It is located in a very relaxed and quiet area. The apartment has a nice garden around it with a barbecue area that you can use. Each apartment has a kitchen, toilet, and a nice terrace. It also comes with free Wi-Fi and an air-conditioner.

Programme

Viganj is one of the most well-known windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in Croatia because it is situated in the middle of a narrow channel between Peljesac and Korcula. The wind tends to blow twice as fast as it usually does in the Adriatic, providing ideal conditions for kitesurfing and for learning how to kitesurf.

Getting to know your equipment (and how to rigg it)
Basics of the wind and safety and the rules of right of way
Start and the right position on windsurfing

Returning to the starting point

The windsurf course lasts two hours every day for four days, mainly in the morning as the wind is lighter and easier to start. This course lasts eight hours. In the first lesson, the whole theory, which takes place on the simulator (30 minutes), is carried out. The rest of the time the participants spend with the teacher on the water.

In the theoretical part, you will deal with topics such as wind directions, sail positions, turning maneuvers, and courses to the wind. After this course, you will be able to surf independently and come back to your starting point. After the course, you will get a VDWS license. After the second day's lesson, you can use the equipment for four days of unlimited hours.

La première option consiste à venir en bus, mais les horaires changent, et en plus, l’été, les lignes sont généralement plus nombreuses. Un bus part chaque jour à 9:00 et à 17:00 de Dubrovnik vers la ville d’Orebic (sept kilomètres). À Orebic, il est possible de prendre un taxi, pour un coût de 90 HRK. Le trajet en bus de Dubrovnik à Orebic dure deux heures et 20 minutes. Le retour s’effectue à 16:00 au départ d’Orebic. La deuxième option est de prendre le ferry rapide (catamaran) de Dubrovnik à Korcula. Il existe deux compagnies locales. La première est JADROLINIJA. Elle part à 7:00 de Dubrovnik vers Korcula et retourne de Korcula à Dubrovnik à 19:25. La deuxième compagnie de ferry rapide est KRILO JET. Elle part à 16:00 et à 16:30 de Dubrovnik et arrive à 17:45 et à 18:25 à Korcula. Le retour s’effectue à 10:00 et à 10:30. Le prix d’un billet aller simple est de 20 EUR par personne.

Split Airport

À 90 km de votre destination

La première option se fait en ferry - la meilleure et la moins chère. Il existe deux ferries rapides différents. La première compagnie de ferry rapide est KRILO JET. Elle part de Split à 7h30, 7h40, 10h00 et 17h00 à destination de Korčula. Vous arriverez à Korčula en deux heures et 20 minutes à trois heures. Le billet aller simple coûte 20 EUR. Cela dépend de l’horaire choisi. À Korčula, une prise en charge gratuite peut être organisée en bateau si les chauffeurs sont disponibles, ou un bateau-taxi peut être envoyé pour vous (28 EUR). De Korčula à Split, le retour se fait à 6h00, 13h00, 17h55 et 18h35. La deuxième compagnie de ferry est JADROLINIJA. Elle part de Split à 15h30 de Split vers Korčula, et arrive à Korčula à 19h10. Un seul départ par jour. Le retour se fait à 9h15 et l’arrivée est prévue à 12h55. C’est une très belle façon de rejoindre le lieu, car à cette heure-là il n’y a pas de grosses vagues, vous ne devriez donc pas avoir le mal de mer. La deuxième option est le bus, mais il part à 1h00 du matin pour Orebic et arrive à 6h00 du matin. Ensuite, un taxi vous emmène à Viganj, qui se trouve à environ sept kilomètres et coûte environ 15 EUR.
