You will be staying in The Surf Hotel Morocco in either their shared room, junior suite, or double/twin rooms. This surf camp will take place in Tamraght, Morocco. The Surf Hotel is located on the hills of the Tamraght Ou Fella, between Agadir and Taghazout. From the beautiful rooftop terrace with an ocean view, you can overlook the charming surfer village, check the waves in the morning and enjoy the stunning Moroccan sunsets.
It is only 10 minutes walking distance from the beach. The region is famous for its 330 sunny days and favorable warm climate all year round. Tamraght is renowned for its laid back pace and word-class waves for all surf levels. It is the closest place for any European surfer to get a year-round warm water, perfect waves, and a unique cultural experience.
The Surf Hotel is surrounded by many famous surf spots. From its beautiful rooftop terrace you can overlook the charming surfer villager, check the waves in the morning and enjoy the stunning Moroccan sunsets. The closest beaches “CroCro” and “Devils Rock” are reachable in a short drive or in 10 minutes walking distance. During your stay, you will be provided with healthy and tasty meals. Enjoy your delicious and varied breakfast in the morning with fresh coffee, Moroccan mint-tea, fresh juice, and various food. For lunch, you will have a tasty salad or sandwich at the beach. The dinner with normally three courses is the highlight of the day. Chef Abderahim creates six days a week a fresh and delicious meal with local products. Please note that every Thursday the kitchen is closed.

Hammam and massage
Having a hammam is a must while you’re in Morocco! The Surf Hotel Morocco will gladly organize a hammam for you, either at a traditional, local spot to get a real taste of Morocco, or at a more luxurious spa if you really want to pamper yourself. And while you’re there a massage is a great way to end the experience.
- Quad, buggy or horse riding
Quad biking in Tamraght is the most enjoyable way to explore the beauty of the Atlas Mountains and beaches of Atlantic Ocean. Get some fresh air and appreciate the beautiful landscapes while doing this activity. Get that adrenaline going! There is no better way to explore the beaches of the Tamraght/Taghazout area than by riding a horse. With the waves gently crash nearby, spend some time in calm communication with nature - local animals, beautiful horses. The owners are very experienced horse riders who will give you all the necessary instructions if you decide to take a horseback journey to discover the mountains.
Visit Agadir (souk and kasbah)
Perhaps there’s no more authentic experience in Morocco than visiting a souk. Agadir has the third biggest market in North Africa (after Fez and Cairo). The Souk el Had has approximately 6,000 shops and is organized in several departments that allows you easily to compare prices and not wasting time.
You find various items for local people and a lot of traditionally-produced goods. Find argan products in all its forms, tasty fresh fruits and vegetables and savor the colorful Moroccan spices. You also find authentic hand-made leather bags, various clothes, shoes, furniture and jewelry. And of course souvenirs to bring something home for your friends and family. There is nothing you won’t find on a Moroccan market. The market is open six days but closed on Mondays.
On your way back you will go up to the Kasbah - the oldest fortress in Agadir that saved the architecture of the previous century. The Kasbah is a rare survivor of the 1960 earthquake. All that remains is the outer wall. The Kasbah is situated on a hill that offers a great view over the rest of the city.
Visit Essaouira and Marrakech
If you like cities with interesting history you won’t miss a trip to Essaouira. A three-hour drive will bring you to this beautiful city whose Medina (old town) is since 2001 on the UNESCO World heritage list. Essaouria is known as the “wind city of Africa” so make sure you bring some warm clothes with you when visiting.
As there is a lot of wind kite-surfing is famous to practice at the beach. On this day drip you can discover the big port for fishing-boats and the long sand beaches. The old medina is saving the history of ancient city behind the fortress wall. Portuguese architecture and French fleur will bring you to idea of being in the old Europe, but medina and local people with their own traditions will make you feel the extraordinary mixture of cultures in this place.
If you are the first time in Morocco or you already fall in love with this city you probably wants to go (again) to Marrakesh. Marrakesh is a former imperial city in western Morocco and one of the biggest cities in Morocco. The red city spreads it’s really own charm and is home to mosques, palaces and gardens. You can’t miss the Moorish minaret of 12-century Koutoubia Mosque which is visible for miles. Spend your day visiting the famous place jema el fna, explore the souk with its colors and get lost in the wrinkled streets of Marrakesh’s medina.
Visit Paradise Valley
Enjoy a hike to the beautiful Paradise Valley, an oasis with fresh natural pools and waterfalls surrounded by palm trees and amazing landscapes. Popular folklore says that Jimi Hendrix named the valley after spending time there enjoying hanging out there. You will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear water, sunbathing around the pools and even cliff jumping if you dare. Also a local lunch served in a nice cafe with a palm roof is included in this visit, if you go with The Surf Hotel Morocco.
Visit the Bay of Imsouane
This day trip leads you to one of the most famous surf-spots of Atlantic Ocean and to the longest waves in Morocco. The time of surfing one can be several minutes. Discover this amazing fisher village with its great vibes. On the way to Imsouane you will see Moroccan villages, mountains, banana plantations, and argan trees.
Probably you will have the chance to see goats climbing up the argan trees. The way to Imsouane will guarantee breath-taking views over the ocean. As Imsouane always was a fisher village you will have fresh grilled fish in a typically restaurant for lunch. On your way back you will have the possibility to visit some dunes on the coast and have some nice walk there or even do some sandboarding if you wish.
Yoga
A morning or sunset yoga session in The Surf Hotel Morocco's special rooftop yoga room is a totally different experience to a yoga class within the confines of a gym. When you practice yoga surrounded by a beautiful view and with the sounds of gently breaking waves, you are sure to finish the session with a smile on your face and feeling very relaxed. A positive meditative experience is something you should try at least once while you are in The Surf Hotel because it’s an amazing way to start powerful in the new day or end an exciting day after your surfing sessions.
