Lieu
Pro Surf Camp Tamraght and Imsouane: Two camps. One all-inclusive surf experience.
Embark on a unique two-week all-inclusive surf journey across two of Morocco’s best surf destinations - all seamlessly organized by one team.
Start your trip in Imsouane, home to Morocco’s longest and most legendary wave. Pro Surf Morocco's Imsouane surf camp offers stunning ocean views, delicious meals, and perfect point breaks ideal for longboarders and surfers looking to refine their style.
After a week of surf and chill in Imsouane, you’ll head to Tamraght, just a short drive from Agadir Airport. With a cozy surf house atmosphere and access to a variety of nearby surf spots, it’s the perfect place to settle in, catch your first waves, and start progressing in a fun and supportive environment.
Enjoy two diverse surf locations, consistent waves, expert coaching, great food, and a welcoming community - all in one unforgettable Moroccan surf holiday.
Tamraght
One of Pro Surf Morocco's camps is located in Tamraght, Agadir. Each morning, their coaches will choose the perfect surf spot for the day, so they are unable to predict the beach ahead of time. Sometimes, you will surf the beach in front of the surf house, and other times, it will be necessary to drive further to find the perfect waves.
There are plenty of ATMs in Agadir. The closest ATM to the surf camp is in Aourir, located maybe ten minutes from Pro Surf Morocco. In the city of Agadir, you can find everything that you would find in any European city. There are banks, ATMs, supermarkets, souks, hammams, car hire services, pharmacies, a hospital, restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, and a pub.
Within 15 minutes of walking from the surf house, you will arrive at the beach of Imourane, with famous surf spots such as Devil's Rock, Spiders, and CroCro.
Tamraght is a Moroccan Berber village located 15 km north of Agadir, between Aourir and Taghazout, at the edge of the Atlantic, known for having the best surf spots in the region of Agadir. The beaches have remained wild and very popular with tourists. The Tamraght beach is called Imourann.
The surf camp location is one of the highest in the city. It is four stories high and boasts two sea-facing terraces, both with beautiful views across the whole of Tamraght. The two rooftop terraces offer panoramic views of the Atlantic, creating the perfect place to chill and watch the sun set over the ocean after a great day’s surfing.
Pro Surf Morocco's guests are typically stunned by the views when first arriving at the camp. When not in the ocean, most guests can be found relaxing on one of the two terraces, where tea and cake are served after dinner.
The surf camp’s bedrooms offer a rustic and cozy charm. They feature traditional Berber décor, with vibrant rugs, woven textiles, and ornate decorations adding a touch of local flair. The rooms are designed for comfort and relaxation, where guests can unwind after a day of surfing.
Expect comfortable, traditional furnishings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that captures the essence of Morocco’s Berber culture. The camp has 14 bedrooms, which come in a variety of configurations.
The rooftop terrace not only offers one of the best views in the area, but also creates the perfect atmosphere for a sunset yoga session to relax tired muscles after a day’s surf. Yoga sessions take place on the highest terrace, ensuring that they are undisturbed by other guests.
When not used for yoga, the top terrace provides hammocks for relaxation, along with a seating area overlooking the village and ocean. Additionally, the rooftop terrace is equipped with a BBQ that is used weekly.
Imsouane
The villa is just a one-minute walk from the world-famous “Magic Bay” surf spot, a location perfect for longboarders and beginners. A three-minute walk will take you to “Cathedral”, a spot better suited for intermediate and shortboard riders. Along the short way to these beautiful beaches, you’ll find small grocery shops, beach cafés, and restaurants.
In addition to Pro Surf Morocco's stunning rooms, the house offers areas to relax and areas to work. The room's terrace with ocean views is the perfect spot to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, practice yoga, and enjoy family-style dinners in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The beautiful terrace is also the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of surfing. It provides a great place to meet and socialize with other guests and staff, watch the sunset, or catch a glimpse of the local surf scene. The breakfast and dining area, located next to the terrace, is an open-air space with tables and chairs that can accommodate all guests.
It’s the perfect spot to enjoy Pro Surf Morocco's delicious breakfast and their traditional Moroccan dinner while socializing with other guests.
Surf spots
You will have the chance to surf in various surfing spots, including:
11 Kilometers
11 Kilometers is a left-hand wave that is close to the surf house, and most of the time, it is not busy. It is a point break where you can improve your surfing skills in both low tide and high tide. This beach is long and sandy. It is only a five-minute walk from the accommodation.
12 Kilometers
12 Kilometers is a nice wave on a sandy beach, and it’s not too powerful. You can find an easy left and right-hand wave for beginner and intermediate levels. It is approximately a five-minute walk from the accommodation.
Banana Beach
In Banana Village, which is famous for its bananas and delicious tajines, you can find Banana Beach, with a long right-hand wave. It’s a reef break for all levels of surfers. You can reach it by driving for five minutes north.
Devil's Rock
Devil's Rock is a right-hand break at a sandy beach close to a famous restaurant that offers fish. This place is very nice for all levels of surfers to enjoy the day. It is an eight-minute drive north from the accommodation.
Panoramas
Panoramas is a long right-hand break towards the sandy beach. It is a great place for beginners, but it also offers amazing waves for all levels. It is reachable by driving for 12 minutes north from the accommodation.
Anchor Point
The Anchor Point is amazing and famous all over the world. In a low tide with onshore wind, you will find perfect conditions for barrels and big turns. If you are lucky, you will find the international pro surfers on this wave, especially in the winter season.
Anchor Point is the only spot where you can surf when there is a big swell. The Moroccan locals love this wave, and you will find many of them at this place. Don’t worry, as they are nice people and you will have fun. You can reach it by driving for 15 minutes north from the accommodation.
Mysteries
On this spot, you can surf in small swells. Next to Anchor Point, it is a powerful right-hand at a low tide. Mysteries is a reef break where you can try to make airs and turns because it’s fast. It’s perfect in all conditions, and if you are lucky, you can have barrels. It’s not very crowded most of the time. It is a 15-minute drive north from the accommodation.
La Source
This spot is a nice place to surf left and right-hand waves in both low tide and high tide. It’s a good wave to improve your surfing skills because you will have a longer ride. La Source is small and powerful. It’s also one of the favorite waves of the Brazilian pro surfer, Adriano de Souza. It is an 18-minute drive north from the accommodation.
Killer Point
The Killer Point looks like Belle's Beach in Australia. It’s a long way to paddle, with a strong current to get to the spot. But if you can arrive there, the waves will be amazing. The Killer Point reef break is powerful, but comes not only with big swells. You can also surf on small waves here. You can reach it by driving north for 20 minutes.
Dracula’s
Dracula’s is a reef break with the longest right-hand waves in the whole of Morocco. For a great surf session, you should always be there early. In a low tide, there is no beach to go in and out. You have to jump from the rocks to go in, and the only way out is to climb the rocks too. You can reach it by driving for 30 minutes north from the accommodation.
Boilers
Boilers is a right-hand reef break with different conditions during onshore and a clean condition offshore. It’s next to Dracula’s. You can surf Boilers in both high tide and low tide. You have to drive for 35 minutes north from the accommodation to reach it.
Tamri
Tamri is a beach break where you can find a different kind of wave. You can have left and right-hand waves at the same time. You can choose which one you prefer. Tamri is a nice place for beginners, intermediates, and pros. You can surf there in nearly all conditions. Sometimes, there is a strong current. If it’s flat in other spots, it is the only spot where you will find waves.
