First off we were met at the a Fuvuhmulah ferry terminal and totally taken care of. We were then transported to our accommodation Ataraxis Grand Spa and Hotel (which was fantastic and totally recommend) We found the Fuvuhmulah Surf Camp is well run. The instructors Shirrey and Sambe are so nice. They made you feel at ease and relaxed learning at a beginner level. Our family consisted of 3 surfers, 2 intermediates and 1 beginner. Unfortunately the swell was not there to accommodate the 2 intermediates but they had a bit of a play. We were a bit early for the recommended surf swell time but we were stopping over after a liveaboard diving boat trip. As a beginner I had the opportunity to get good instruction and confidence to definitely continue learning to surf. They offer a wide range of surf boards depending on your ability. They give great dry technique practice before heading to the water and great encouragement and tips when in the water.

They have video/photographers Urwath and Hanu on shore who take footage of your lessons so that really helps to analyse your technique to improve. They organised an island tour and Sante was our guide who surprised us with his historical knowledge of the island. They also organised a Tiger Shark Dive with Fuvuhmulah Scuba Club which was an amazing experience. They basically organised our entire visit to Fuvuhmulah Overall I would totally recommend Fuvuhmulah Surf Camp as a great company to book with just lovely people to deal with 🙏😊
