I booked with Coconut Retreats as I wanted flexible retreat not something set in stone. I also really liked the idea of incorporating a new skill of surfing and visiting the seaweed farm on the island to understand a bit more about Island life. Rosa could not have been more helpful from arranging my arrival on the island to organising activities making sure I knew what time and where I needed to be offering accompanying me to make sure that I got there okay. She was always on hand and went over and above.
For me the fact that I could pick and choose when I ate and where I ate was really helpful and I could be involved or not as I wanted I was seeking some serious downtime. The two restaurants were brilliant and catered for Gluten free. Nick and Josie at Island Yoga were amazingly welcoming and I have fallen in love with the Gong as result of my time here. Will be buying one and learning to play when I get home! Sorry neighbours. The whole ambience of Island Yoga is gentle loving and relaxing. I did oracle cards, hammock sound scapes and sound journeys and well as the gong relaxation sessions.
The island of Nusa Lembongan itself is pretty special. It has a chilled vibe with most visitors being divers surfers or yogis. Food and accommodation is great and very reasonable and I loved it so much I extended my stay for 2.5 weeks. Has I not got something booked in Bali I would have happily stayed for the whole month. The Sunsets are amazing and the people friendly an
