You will stay at the Bio Surf Camp, located in a green area near the village of Suances. It is 300 meters from the town center, the camp is in a pedestrian zone where there is no noise or traffic, and almost no neighbors. You can always park just in front of the gates. It is a two-minute walk from the bars and restaurants as well as from shops and main facilities. The beaches are less than one and a half kilometers away.
It takes three minutes by car, 10 minutes by bike which is available at the camp, and 20 minutes on foot along a stone path which goes through the old town. The camp includes a Zen garden and a 2000-square-meter private organic garden at the entire disposition of the reduced groups. There are four cabins, a dome bedroom, and several double bedrooms in tents with beds. There are also common zones like the kitchen, gazebos, sauna and contrasts shower, Wi-Fi, a yoga area, a barbecue, outdoor cinema sessions, and screenings.
The camp provides bathrooms integrated with an interior shower just like the original outdoor showers attached to the sauna to have cold showers for heat contrast or to clean up after surfing with a view of the sunset. The indoor surfing area consists of slack-line, long skate, skate, inboard, bonus, and surf library with books, magazines, guides, and specialized videos.

The bars, restaurants, and pubs are famous throughout the province because Suances is the seaside town with more summer life in Cantabria. Relaxation is the hallmark of this adult surf camp. Inside their facilities, you will enjoy many places where you can forget about routine stress and rest. They have an area for meditation and yoga that can be used at any time of the day, a dry sauna and outdoor contrast showers ideal for use after surfing lessons, as well as a natural meadow where you can lie down under the sun as well as an awesome terrace with wide views to the green hills around the camp.
Surfing is the main engine of the camp. They teach surf courses from early morning until late afternoon. The small groups for the classes are created depending on surf levels and sea conditions. You will travel between the facilities and the beach by van. The duration of the classes is two and a half hours from the time you leave until you return to the facilities.
Also, you will have the material to surf on your own throughout the day so you can continue enjoying what you have learned in the daily courses with instructors. The time of the course includes the displacements, the practice of the technique in the sand, the heating, and the practice in the water. You will have a loan service for material outside of the course with the surf package and accommodation on the days that there is a surf course booked.

Alberto De Diego Navarro
Alberto has 27 years of surf experience that makes him the veteran surfer of the camp. He creates dynamic activities and he is in charge of the camps installations and the surfing equipment. With his dedication and good humor, he will help you withstand the cold waters, the muscle strains, and other problems so you can have an unbelievable time between the waves.
Pablo Ruiz Ramos
Pablo Ruiz Ramos has been surfing for 24 years, giving surf classes for 12 years, and working in the environment for 14 years. He has an official degree TD2 for surf. He coordinates all camp activities making sure you enjoy your stay and your experience with the whole staff. He welcomes you, shows you the facilities, and he can give you a surf class or even prepare breakfast.

This surf camp will take place in Suances, Spain. Suances is the fishing village with the best summertime life. It is well-known for its varied nightlife and cultural activities as well as its culinary traditions. It offers great quality for your money. You can enjoy the unique landscapes with the wild sea and the green mountains that only Cantabria can offer. You can also get to know six fine sand beaches and the variety of coves and cliffs to explore. The island effect of the three beaches surrounding the peninsula of Los Locos ensures that there is always a good choice between wave size, wind, and tide.
The beach of Los Locos was named the third European Surf Reserve in 2012, for the well-known quality of its waves for all types of surf. It is the beach that has forged a great number of successful competitive surfers. Suances is located in the center of Cantabria. From Suances you are close to all the cultural destinations between the beaches and the mountains such as Santillana del Mar and the Altamira Caves, Santander and Comillas, or The Picos de Europa, as well as Bilbao.

You can arrive at Torrelavega train station or Barreda train station. Bio Surf Camp's representative will pick you up at the train station. This service is not included in the price. An extra cost for a transfer from Torrelavega train station is 29 EUR.
