Stay Madivaru is a locally built 25 meters teakwood boat which has been completely refurbished in 2015, assuring complete comfort to its passengers.
With its spacious deck, comfortable double cabins, and a team of professional locals on hand, this is the perfect boat to hunt for waves. Every day, you will jump on the Dhoni (a smaller boat with a surf rack) that will support you while you're surfing from sunrise to sunset with a local guide.
The large saloon is furnished with comfortable sofas perfect to hide from the sun in the warmest hours of the day. For the sun lovers, the sundeck is located above the saloon and furnished with both sundeck chairs and sun beds.
Inside the boat, you will find six comfortable cabins, four twin, and two double cabins which are fully air-conditioned with individual thermostat control, en-suite shower, and WC. Spend 11 days with a view of the Indian Ocean all around you.
The boat's maximum capacity is 12 guests and 1 or 2 The Surf Tribe group leader(s).

Required surf level
If you're dreaming of long rippable waves or your first barrel, this trip is for you. To join and enjoy this surf trip, you should have some surf experience and be autonomous in the line-up. This surf adventure is for intermediate surfers and above.
To join this surf trip, you must be able to take off confidently and autonomously on shoulder / head-high waves. Almost all the waves break over (sometimes shallow) coral reef.
Shoulders season is perfect for intermediates. With less abundant big swells (and weather), medium-sized waves are as abundant and perfect as you could ask for.
Only waves on your mind
3 delicious meals a day and transport straight to the line-up. All you have to think about is packing your board bag and paddling into perfect waves. Insert yourself here.
Surf with your tribe
You will be joining a group of international intermediate and advanced intermediate surfers, sharing stories and unforgettable moments in and out of the water. 11 days of sharing the line-up with a group of friends. It doesn't get much better than this.
Program
On the arrival day (12 pm latest), you will meet in Malé Airport and go on board. Every day from 6 am to 5 pm, you can surf as much as you want. There is always the smaller boat (Dhoni and Dinghy) waiting for you to drop you off near the peak.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served on the boat. Depending on the wave conditions, the boat will navigate to the best spots during the day or night. Relax on the sundeck, go snorkeling, or explore one of the nearby islands. On the last day, surf stops at 12 am.

You will spend 11 days on a comfortable boat in the Central Atolls of the Maldives. Around you, there will be inhabited and uninhabited islands. Your meals will be taken care of, but please bring everything else you might need as there won't be many shopping opportunities.
Wave paradise
The Central Atolls have some of the best waves and most picturesque breaks in the Maldives. Travel through different atolls and score fun uncrowded surf for 11 days.
Surf conditions
The Maldives surf season goes from April to October. Waves are incredibly consistent and while in Summer, it may get big and sometimes a bit wet. The shoulder season (October and November) brings good weather and more playful conditions for the intermediate surfer.
Since the Central Atolls take longer to reach, fewer boats operate in the area compared to the more crowded Male Atolls – which translates to fewer surfers in the line-up.
Since most surfers heading to the Central Atolls are usually interested in more advanced waves, this often leaves other more intermediate spots (but still world-class) completely empty. This is the perfect recipe for a week of scoring incredible waves and improving your surfing skills.

Arrival by airplane
Please arrange your flight to arrive at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (MLE). In order to get to the boat, you will have to fly to Male, Maldives.
To get on the boat on time and leave to the Central Atolls on time, you will need to be in Malé before 12 pm on arrival day. For the return, you need to book a flight after 1 pm on departure day.
If you would like to arrive and depart a few days earlier / later to be able to settle in before the trip and chill down after, they recommend you to stay either in Himmafushi or Thulushdoo. Both are close to Male (30 minutes by speed boat) and have quality surfing spots within walking distance!
