Je wordt super warm ontvangen, de surflessen zijn zeer goed en het eten is buitengewoon lekker!

Everything, there is honestly no mental load for anyone at the camp. The staff are lovely and have thought of everything so you don’t have to and can just enjoy the time there.

The food was amazing and fresh, I loved the lunch boxes that you can fill from a breakfast buffet. The yoga was fantastic and on offer sunrise & sunset.

My instructor was Ali but I can’t find him on the drop down to give 5 * but I also enjoyed Simo’s coaching.

The other people in the group were all so nice and friendly, lots of solo travellers and a mixed age crowd which I was very happy with.

Superaardige mensen, deskundige en sympathieke instructeurs, erg mooi en schoon hostel. Heerlijk en gezond eten. Geweldige yoga instructrice. Erg fijne tijd gehad. We hebben echt leren surfen in een week. Iedereen doet erg zijn best je een fijne tijd te bezorgen.

It was my first time travelling alone and I never thought that it was a bad idea at any time. Everything worked out perfectly. Airport pickup was on time and I had a warm welcome from the first minute. The driver was a sweetheart and taught me a lot about morocco. Arriving at the camp I was showed my room and brought to the beach right away. The surfhouse ist wonderfully decorated and super clean, the cleaning ladies work every day and it clearly shows. If something breaks (like the water filter), someone will take care of it right away, which is very impressive. The surfinstructors are the loveliest guys on earth and they really teach you how to surf. They chose different beaches every day, to make sure you have the most fun and the photographer always takes great pictures so you can take the memories home with you . The entire staff is super friendly, funny and at the end of the stay you‘ll love every single one of them. Every day was beautiful there and the food the cooks prepared was amazing, I could not get enough. I‘ve been to several surfcamps before but this one felt like more than just vacation. Gonna come back for sure!

First of all, Khalid is an incredible host, very welcoming, always smiling and helpful.

The facilities were great, especially the dining room and terraces.

I would like to express a big thank you to the kitchen team, not only was the food abundant and delicious but they are also very kind people.

The surfing experience was good, with a surf lesson each morning and free surfing in the afternoon.

The instructors were nice and they allowed us to progress autonomously.

Surfing was great and day trip to oaradise valley was unbelivable , the yoga classes were perfect for all levels too , especially as i was new to it all !

I was expecting only two things: to be able to stand up on the surfboard and to get a tan (I live in Belgium :). I was able to get both, so I felt accomplished. I was able to stand up on the first day and on the first wave, which was pretty amazing and got me pumped up from the beginning. The food and the vibe of the place were very good. I come from Brazil, so I expected to meet warm people, and I did! Both the hostel staff and the fellow surf campers were so nice and chill that I was able to completely disconnect from my work routine. By the way, I had made a reservation for a shared two-bedroom, but since the hostel was not full, they let me stay alone in a room instead of putting me with someone else, which was pretty nice.

For my first trip to Morocco this was an excellent choice. The hosts look after you very well and help to create friendly and fun atmosphere. Staff very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The staff were warm and friendly, nothing was too much effort and they went above and beyond to meet requests and make sure you had the best time. The variety of surf spots visited in the guided group was excellent. The surfboards were in good condition. The guesthouse was clean and tidy, and the rooftop terrace was lovely.

The experience at Surf Star was wonderful, especially over the New Year. The hostel has everthing you need and the food is amazing. Staff are kind, efficient and very helpful. It is like they have thought of everything you need before you need it. The structure of the day is great, with chill time, yoga classes and surf classes.

As the name suggests, this is more focused on surfing, and the hostel has yoga classes which you can go to. The outdoor roof terrace is a beautiful place for yoga, and you can stretch while the sun rises which feels really tranquil. I thought I would be going to two yoga classes a day but they were too slow for my personal preference, so I did my own stretching.

The surf instructors are excellent - Simo in particular. They teach you technique, help you with equipment and look after you in the water. I was impressed by the attention and small tips that were given individually. I really progressed!

I also liked the fact that the hostel was in the smaller town of Tamraght rather than the bigger town of Tagazout. There were just a couple of restaurants and a cafe.

It was the first time I traveled alone but the truth is that I found a family. I spent unforgettable days full of life and beauty. The food was delicious, the instructors were good and patient. I made great connections.

I traveled around Morocco a bit but is the most beautiful part of Morocco, pristine beaches and breathtaking sunsets. Highly recommended, I will be back! Thanks 🙏🏼

The surf and yoga instructors were supportive, responsive to the students’ needs, and offered individual advice according to the skills level of each student. The accommodation was tidy and clean, and the food was fresh, healthy and tasty. The location is also great, in close proximity to the ocean and situated near other bigger towns which can be easily reached via a short taxi ride. The atmosphere and people at the retreat were friendly and welcoming.

Can’t remember when I last got to a hotel/guesthouse and thought within a day “I’ll definitely come back here”.

Great staff, friendly, full of knowledge and laughs. I was both a complete beginner for yoga and surfing and was really taken care of by everyone. Can’t recommend enough.

At surf star you feel like at home! The atmosphere is so cool, the staff is friendly and gives everyone a warm welcome.

Thanks to Omar who picked us up at the airport, to lovely Malika and Bushra (appologizes for the spelling!) who among others took care of booking the massage & hammam (which btw were so good) & taxi for the return,.. thanks to Khalid who always had a kind word and was so funny! 🔥

The meals were also really copious and the food was so good & tasty! 😋😋

I also really loved the healing yoga classes on the terrace (and we had the chance to enjoy the full moon 🌕 and its special ceremony) given by Becky who is also a beautiful person ❤️🧘🏻‍♀️

Thanks to Ayoub, Azzedine, Ali, Mohamed & Simon for their kindness, I made big progress in surfing during these 4 days while on the 2 first days I was quite afraid of the waves! I am so happy🏄🏻‍♀️🙏🏻

As a conclusion, I met really kind people from all around the world thanks to this stay at Surf Star!

The wonderful staff, they are the heart of this place. The food, the yoga, the house, the surfing.

When I arrived at surf star, I had such a friendly welcome despite having arrived late. The accomodation was beautiful and clean. The views from the yoga terrace were beautiful and we were able to watch the sunrise during our morning yoga sessions and watch it set during the evening session. The food was to a very high quality and was very tasty. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating you didn't feel like you were at a hotel but staying at a friend's house. The yoga instructor was very experienced, I have been practicing yoga for 6 years and really enjoyed being introduced to new positions and movements. The surf instructors were very knowledgeable and they made learning to surf a safe and enjoyable experience, even if I spent more time wiping out than on the board. As a solo traveller I would definitely recommend surf star due to the safe and positive space that is created by the staff and instructors, it was also really easy to meet others at the family style dinners creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I really cannot fault them at all. Thank you so much for an awesome holiday.

Amazing place! The place was great with good food! The teachers, Simo, Lucie, Becky were excellent!

The accommodation was great, in the cute little surfing village of Tamraght, with everything you need for your stay. Malika and Bouchra are absolutely amazing! Nothing is too much trouble and they are so smiley and friendly on reception that it was nice to just sit and chat for a bit. Like being with friends. Really gonna miss them both..

Lucie is such a great yoga teacher, everything was so fun and relaxed and the stretching was very much needed after a busy day of surfing!

The food was incredible! Let’s just say you’ll never go hungry.. Healthy, well-cooked home meals that really hit the spot after a long day. Great idea with the lunch boxes to take to the beach with you everyday. The fresh juice in the morning is to die for (especially the beetroot).

Khalid took us for a lovely night out in Agadir on Friday night as there is no dinner at the surf house on this day. We had some amazing food at a restaurant by the beach, drank wine (and the odd Tequila shot) and were serenaded by some funky music.

As for the surfing, I was overwhelmed with how amazing Simo is as an instructor. He’s so patient, motivating and praising when teaching and it really makes you feel like you can do anything. The trips down to the beach everyday were some of the best moments I’ve had, from the awesome music in the car to the chilling on the sand and surfing some waves I thought never to be possible. Can’t thank him enough for everything he’s taught us x

Go and get yourself a hammam!!!

Yoga sessions in the late afternoon were perfect to relax and stretch muscles I was not even supposed to have. Hosts and guests very friendly create a family environment.

Thank you for just everything! You treated us all just like family and I felt so safe and good with you all!

Our stay at surf star was amazing. The whole staff is so nice and we felt right at home. The food is very delicious and the place is beautiful. Even thou the waves weren't that great, we went surfing and they had an alternative programm for the afternoon which was also super nice.

Everything was perfect starting with accommodation, service, food, and staff. People working there are so nice, kind, helpful, and just incredible human beings. I enjoyed every tiny moment, Simo is a very good surfer and instructor, he teached us the techniques, he was always providing us feedbacks after every time we stood up on the board, he was watching us and giving a lot of good vibes. Besides that he is just a sweet heart and a very beautiful human being from inside and outside. I am thankful to surf star for this experience.

Simo and Ayoub, the surf instructor were very supportive. Whilst we are into the water on our own Simo tell us what we should've done do be perfect.

Moreover, the food is amazing. Everyday a meal was homemade with the local products.

The staff and instructors were just lovely, and the food was spectacular. I’ve never eaten so well and I felt like it was a home from home. Travelling by myself it was good to feel so safe, and there was always someone nice to talk to. I’m terrible at surfing but the instructors were always patient and helpful (even when I decided to sunbathe instead) and special thanks to Olga the amazing yoga instructor who totally made my holiday (but isn’t on the list). Thank you to everyone!!

I enjoyed the stay all around. Starting with the good communication before departure to the transfer as well as the pleasant arrival. The accommodation is very clean and nicely designed. The yoga of Olga was varied and adapted to our needs. For surfing, depending on the waves, it is decided to which beach it goes, so that you have the optimal opportunities to learn and practice depending on your level. The whole thing is rounded off with the fantastic and varied food .

All in all, I am already thinking about when I will come next time.

Yoga classes were great, Olga led us through a really nice mix of positions and gave great guidance on things like controlling your breathing, positioning different parts of your body, and targeting specific muscles for stretching. The rest of the retreat was also great, very nice atmosphere, lovely people, fun surfing.

- The people that run this place are the best. They know everyone by name and try to make the holiday perfect for everyone.

- The food is high quality and has a big variety.

Everything is super clean/organized.

- There are enough surf instructors to give everyone enough guidance. The instructors give good advice based on your level. The location for the surf sessions are different every day based on the weather conditions.

- The atmosphere is really good, lot's of solo travelers and everyone is open to get to know each other.

I picked Surf Star because i hadn't been to Morocco before and wanted a place with great reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Everyone is very friendly and genuinely helpful! i liked that new guests are made to feel at home immediately. Bushra and Malika were always on hand and never to busy to answer a question or just have a friendly chat. They are on top of everything, from the first email about making a reservation, to the end of my stay. They are super friendly people, know what guets need, and if there was a problem, Khalid would manage any matter quickly. Ibrahim and Rashid are great in the Kitchen, and what a kitchen! The food was always fresh, tasty and plentiful. I made many new friends, and i'm looking forward to planning my return again soon, as other guests i met do regularly!

The people who work here are great and very accommodating. I loved the variety and quality of the meals prepared for us. I also enjoyed the yoga sessions as they were complimentary to surfing. And most importantly I loved that they had surf sessions for every level and hired experienced instructors who clearly knew what they were doing.

Everything about this camp makes sense and I highly recommend it.

I loved this surf camp! The instructors were really helpful, the equipment and facilities really good, and the organisation was generally very on point. The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! They made delicious, nutritious vegan food 🤤

I only did 3 days of the surf camp but cannot recommend enough, the yoga morning and evening was amazing, the surf instructors were patient and the food was so fresh.

We stayed 5 nights in the camp and enjoyed every minute of it. The people, the Service, the food everything was great. Would recommend to anyone.

The food and the staff were both wonderful. House was gorgeous, clean and comfortable.

The people are so welcoming, I travelled by myself and was nervous at first, but I felt at home straight away and I have made friends for life 🙌🏽💗

The yoga & surf lessons were also excellent, as well as the food and facilities, I can’t fault it.

I was warmly welcomed by the whole surf star team and even if there were not many guest due to corona pandemic I spend a very nice time there doing yoga with Lucie who is a real professional teacher. Also the surf classes I can highly recommend! I was kindly assisted with all organisational questions to make my stay as comfortable as possible...and not to forget the delicious food :)

All in all I can fully recommend a stay here!

Despite the sanitary context, I felt really well among Lucie Mohammed and all their friendly team, like a family trip, surfing was really great and perfect for beginners to achieve strong basis likely to let have a lot of fun in the water, good and authentic Moroccan vibes within this house ! Highly recommended

The people are soooo friendly and the surf teachers are very nice and motivating! The food is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable. I will definitely come back here as soon as possible!

This camp is simply amazing! The instructors and classes are tailored to your level, the surf house is gorgeous (especially the rooftop), the food is super yummy and the people are super fun! Could not reccomend this camp enough!

it’s a retreat where you don’t have to care about a thing yourself. as soon as you check in you are surrounded by good energy, happiness and love. the yoga teacher and all staff are caring in a heartwarming way. i was so sad to leave i had to book my next trip there immediately :)

Very good vibe, relaxed and nice people. Rooftop guitar sessions were a nice bonus!

The warm friendly vibes at surf star make you feel part of the family. not just with the other guests but also the staff and owners who get amongst the action. the surf instruction was fantastic and within several days had me ready to give green waves a go. the yoga was a perfect blend of gentle morning flow and evening yin session that would stretch out our tired muscles from the surfing. sometimes we would mix it up with some acro yoga too which added to the fun. The way Lucie would blend yoga philosophy, the asana and positive psychology has me leaving my two week holiday refreshed and inspired to make my mark on this world as a change maker.

I thought the vibe at surf star was amazing & very inclusive. The staff worked incredibly hard to meet my every need & succeeded in making my stay perfect! The yoga was amazing & our teacher worked with us to accommodate our bodies after being stiff and sore from surfing. The surf instructors were amazing & patient, with good instruction allowing me to get up & surf on the first day!

It was excellent value for money and had a real family feel to it. We got there late on a Tuesday evening and were picked up and they had kept dinner for us as well. Everyone introduced themselves to us and made us feel very welcome.

The yoga was excellent as was the surf instruction. I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a nice relaxing but also very fun time.

Thank you Surf Star Team for a woderful week full of sunshine, lovely people, yoga and surfing lessons. Abdullah and Zara did an amazing job to teach me and always had a good positive attitude that made me smile a lot. The whole staff was extremely friendly and felt good to be around. Special Thanks to the kitchen. The food was far better than expected. Sooo yummy! All in all highly recommendable.

De staf was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De sfeer was gemoedelijk en relaxed. Veel nieuwe mensen leren kennen en mooie gesprekken gevoerd!

Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the hostel is beautiful and in the middle of a lovely village, which is walking distance from a beach and local cafes serving delicious smoothies and snacks. Food provided by the hostel was all delicious and wee very accommodating for different dietary requirements. Will definetly be recommending to friends and family and would love to stay again!

Die Atmosphäre.

Our instructor Max, he was a great instructor and nice person, also the whole staff was great, nice food and perfect spot to enjoy of the environment and beach. Also the place to surf that day, was very specify and always the right place to surf with the best curcomstances.

Surf Star Morocco really exceeded all my expectations: accommodation at the surf house was perfectly clean and relaxing, the home-cooked meals delicious and healthy, the yoga lessons the best I ever had, and most importantly everyone was all about the good vibes, making us all feel welcome and at home.

It was my first time surfing and I really felt looked after by all the instructors, who were always giving us productive feedback and pushing us to improve— the positive results were evident across the board.
