Outdoor Ecuador Spanish and Surf School

Everyone at Outdoor Ecuador is so friendly and welcoming, it was like a family! The surfing lessons were great, I had already surfed a bit before and progressed a lot during my week here. The Spanish lessons were also very good. I loved my week in Olón and it was very good value for money.

The staff are super helpful ans the camp provided a great way to get practice for surfing for a whole week

My surf coach David was wonderful! He helped me a lot to improve my surfing during 7 days and he gave me really good tips. I got really into surfing!

I had 5 Spanish classes with Luis. The atmosphere in classes were very relaxed and learning was fun! It was really good way to start learning Spanish.

Ocean Blue Lodge is really comfortable place to stay, just next to the beach. Owner Elizabeth is super sweet and helpful, even though we had little bit language barrier, because I didn’t speak Spanish and she speaks only little bit English, but we got everything figured out! Restaurants are near to lodge. Olon is small and quiet place, but perfect for chilling and surfing!

All the other staff members were also super friendly and I felt really welcomed in Olon! I can just recommend Outdoor Ecuador 🤙🏼

Luis included us in some activities apart from the surf-lessons, he is a very likeable person and took good care of everything. I really felt welcome and at home in Olon knowing he would support in every possible way for all kind of things... Lovely experience.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience in Olón thanks to Outdoor Ecuador. We took a week of lessons and it was great training wheels and helped us to feel comfortable going out by ourselves at the end. Luis was a great teacher and the place itself is a great hub to connect with the lovely locals running it as well as other travelers.

Ocean Blue Lodge was very laid back, clean and close to the water. We loved it there!

Olon is a quiet little village with kind people. At the time there were few people at the beach and I had a very good surfing expirience. We had so much fun with our Spanish teacher and learned a lot in this five days.

But the best was Elisabeth the owner of the blue ocean lodge. She's so warm and kindly.

Die Surfstunden haben mir sehr gut gefallen! Ich war anfangs alleine und dann kam noch ein zweiter "Schüler" dazu. Unser Surflehrer war sehr bemüht, dass wir etwas lernen und dabei auch noch Spaß haben.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön. Nur 50m zum Strand und ein sehr schönes Haus mit Garten!

Even though I paid dir group lessons, I got private lessons, which are far better and you learn a lot more. I didn't think that in this short time (1 week) I would be able to even stand on the bord. But with Luis, it wasn't all that hard and it was incredibly fun.

The Host family was really nice. I almost had my own private area with a private bedroom and bathroom. (They do have wifi and hot running water)
