Our surf instructor Charley was great, and our Spanish teachers were also awesome. All the staff were super friendly. The accommodations were a very short walk to the school and all restaurants. I felt like I did not have to plan anything, which is a real treat.

The Oasis surf school was extremely well organised and structured well! The teachers for the Spanish, surf and yoga lessons were all amazing and extremely helpful teaching us whilst making us feel very comfortable. The friendly vibe of the entire school was amazing and made us all feel at home. The accommodation was very nice and located in a great part of Puerto Escondido with local cafes/restaurants and small markets in walking distance. We had so much fun, would highly recommend this school to a friend and would love to come back one day. Muchos Gracias!!!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Accommodation was comfortable, clean and conveniently located near restaurants and the beach. It was a great holiday to do solo as there were so many others to meet. Loved my Spanish lessons too.

This was my first surf camp ever and I absolutely loved it!!

Everything worked out perfectly and often exceeded my expectations.

Camp is very well organized and communication with the staff is very efficient. There is also a group WhatsApp chat so you can meet up with the rest of the attendees and plan fun things to do together.

Instructors are skilled and also fun and very approachable.

Wir waren 8 Tage in dem Camp und haben dabei viel gelernt. Im Spanischkurs hatten wir eine 1:1 Betreuung und beim Surfen eine 2:1 Betreuung wodurch wir viel und intensiv lernen konnten. Mit den anderen Teilnehmern schließt man schnell den Kontakt und unternimmt auch außerhalb der Kurszeiten viel Zeit. Nur zu empfehlen

As a strong intermediate surfer, I still had a really good time at this camp. Good board selection to use and good local knowledge from instructors. I would recommend this camp

The instructor was great, I love that it is one instructor per 2 persons. It doesn't matter you level they adapt to you. Live the experience and I am looking forward to come back.

Perfect combo of surfing, Spanish, yoga and accommodation

It is impossible to describe! The teachers were amazing, the accomodations super cosy and the surf camp vibe was just perfect. Felt like a dream!

Wir hatten eine Super Woche im Surfcamp und wollen definitiv wiederkommen. Die Unterkunft war sehr gepflegt und schön. Hier hatten immer zwei Schüler einen Surflehrer und somit konnte man schneller Fortschritte machen. Alles in allem das beste Surfcamp in dem ich je war und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich gut.

Hey all, first of all, Diego was my instructor for most of my lessons. He is a super nice guy and it felt like he worked his magic to get me into some good opportunities to get better on the board. I felt like most of the focus was trying to get more comfortable with riding by catching as many waves as possible, which did happen, and he made sure it did. Much respect goes out to Diego, as he was able to answer my questions, and it seemed like he cared about me getting better.

The accommodation was great! It was super mellow with the staff and other students, and the location felt super safe.

The feeling and experience, it felt chill and fun to be around. Everyone was nice to talk to, especially for English speaking people.

Surf Theory class - you will learn basic concepts like using the current in your favor, how to determine where the lineup is, and best of all, to cover your head with both arms if you fall to avoid any errand boards which may cause injury and a bad day at the office Friendly and knowledgeable instructors, keep you safe in the water 2 people share an instructor, so you take turns and get a chance to rest between waves after paddling back Board and rash guards are provided for every lesson, you may use different size boards based on your progress. I moved from a 10' to a 9' during my sessions. All boards are shaped by Roger Ramirez (co-founder) My instructor, Chester, gave me plenty of tips and tricks to improve my pop-up, which made it easier to enjoy the waves I took a 1/2 day trip on my last day to Playa Roca Blanca and we had the beach to ourselves. Highly recommended I didn't do the full-day trips but probably will do one whenever I get back. You can use some of your regular sessions as credit for 1/2 day or full day trips, just ask the staff and they will hook you up. Accommodations at La Barca were first rate. I didn't have a kitchen but took advantage of the common one.

I really enjoyed my time at oasis. I stayed at La Barca and the location was great, and since there were a lot of other oasis students it gave it a feeling of community. The rooms were all clean, and they would clean them about every two days.

The surf classes were wonderful. All the instructors are friendly, and patient people. I got a lot of feedback and my surfing improved quite drastically over the course of 8 days.

The whole staff was great. Roger, the owner and founder, was very kind and made sure everyone was taken care of.

My experience was very positive and I look forward to returning.

La Barca surfhouse from Oasis is realy nice and very clean. The surflessons are well organized und very good teached... they watch on your level, give you the right board and the right waves for your level. The Extras with Theorie, Surf Pictures and Coaching works well! I‘ll do it again!!

My instructor's name is not on the list, but Ivan was a patient and very chill instructor. The accommodations were perfect and convenient to be able to walk to school every day. Our Spanish classes were also accommodated to our skill level, which I thought was perfect.

Nice and quite area 10 mins fro “punta zicatela “ . Just wished to surf in another place put of Punta zicatela, but anyway great surf instructors ( Paco, David and Jonathan) and great Spanish teacher 🔥🔥🔥

Had a great time at Oasis and was very happy with everything. Beautiful location very close to the beaches and a nice and clean room. Everybody was very helpful and friendly doing their best to give you a good experience. Surfing was fun and also good to learn for a beginner like me. Had a great instructor (Juan de Días) who was very kind and gave great instructions! Can definitely recommend and would come again.

Friendly, experienced instructors who always gave excellent advice when out on the waves.

The photo shoot session and feedback on improvements that could be made was a good bonus.

The front of house staff were always helpful at the front desk, who always kept you updated with the various surf times and activities going on.

Great surf boards, leash and rash guards.

Good transport to surf locations, which the staff always choose depending on the weather and time of the day.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable and always kept tidy with the cleaning staff/gardener.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They have a great schedule that is well paced. I highly recommend.

Amazing surfing experience! This camp is really well organized and full of great energy! I love how the lessons are 2 students max. My surf instructor: Oscar (Patola) was absolutely brilliant! He met me at my level and saw quickly where I needed guidance. I’m amazed at his expert knowledge of waves and how he always chose the best waves for me to catch. I felt really safe as he made sure I didn’t drop in on other surfers or catch waves too late. His constant feedback after every wave helped me improve my skills so much in just one week and really boosted my confidence. All the other students were super happy with their instructors too which shows what a great surf camp this is. I didn’t take the Spanish lessons but I know someone who did had trips to the market plus other interactive fun lessons. Betty on reception was wonderful and so accommodating with all my requests - like adding extra surf lessons at short notice. The accommodation I stayed in was excellent too (mango surf house) - it was peaceful and comfortable with a bit more privacy and just a short walk from la Barca where evening activities took place. Sol met me when I arrived and Roger went out of his way to come by bike to say goodbye to me when I left. Communication was fast and helpful from the start- thank you Scarlett! This place felt like a family and they really take care of all their guests! I will definitely go back and for longer next time! If you are not sure, just book here- you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing location, teachers and accommodation, my main teacher Chori, was also excellent but his name didn't show ... Spanish teaching was also excellent

The hands-on approach of the instructors ensures you get the most out of every lesson. They go through various adjustments and fixes and address any issues you may have with your surfing. At the end of every week, every sits down and has a family-style dinner while your surfing technique is broken down into scalable steps.

This was a heap of fun. The instructors were brilliant and made everything easy for our lessons. We also did language classes at the school which was fun. Gorgeous town, am already planning my next trip.
