Bruna Surf Trips

I’ve always been drawn to travel, different cultures, and the many ways people live. Those experiences have shaped how I see the world and shown me how much we all actually share. When I first visited São Tomé alone, I was amazed by the landscape, the culture, and the connections I made there. I left with friendships and experiences that stayed with me. On our trips, I’m there to host, look after the group, and help make sure everyone feels included and enjoys the experience fully.

Movement, nature, and good shared moments are some of the things I value most in life. Surfing became one of those things for me, because it connects so much of what I love: the ocean, movement, shared moments, and being fully present in a place. On our trips, I care a lot about the feeling of the group and about the small things that make a week flow well. I love creating spaces where people feel comfortable, included, and genuinely excited to be there.

Kedsom Afonso is one of the people who makes this trip what it is. He is from Praia Melão, runs Kedsom Surf School, and knows the waves around São Tomé deeply. He is ISA-certified, but more importantly, he brings the kind of local knowledge and calm presence that makes a big difference in the water. He helps guests feel safe, build confidence, and enjoy the surf properly, whatever their level is.
