Bio Surf Camp

Bio Surf Camp is the perfect setup if you're looking for a proper "camp" in nature and great surf lessons.

I was a complete beginner and was given lots of instruction and support to get going. The instructors (Pablo and Domenico) were super knowledgeable and I felt I made a lot of progress in a week. There are two beaches for surfing, which meant there was always an option for good waves and also easier waves for beginners.

I was staying in a yurt and the accommodation was above and beyond what I expecting - lots of space, proper beds, a good amount of storage. You're surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature and Pablo and his family are really welcoming. A great first surfing experience.

My week at Bio Surf Camp was wonderful. The location is great, close to the beach and within a 10 min walk of the bus terminal and a shop. All this whilst being a place perfect for relaxing in the quiet of the green hills of Cantabria.

The instruction from both Domenico and Pablo was great, they catered for both beginners and more experienced surfers using a combination of photos and in-the-water instruction and I really felt like I improved.

The two beaches the surf camp regularly use have consistent swell and a variety of different waves that work in pretty much all conditions.

Pablo and his family are very welcoming and accommodating and I would not hesitate to go back.

I liked the location, the coast is beautiful and not very crowded and I liked the instructor Domenico, he was very nice and warm and paid a lot of attention. The only instructor which class I enjoyed. The beds very big and comfortable:) Food okay, not a lot of choice but tasty

The ambience, the family vibe was really cute, everyone was so nice!!! It was really clean, glamping at its best! Really homely feeling :)) see you again soon!!!!!!!

The setting is just breathtaking.

I was sleeping in a yurt, surrounded by the most beautiful garden, immersed in nature. There were flowers I had never seen before and it was great to take in the view in the morning with a cup of coffee. There's plenty of space to put away one's personal belongings.

The setting is peaceful if you want to rest, and the surf lessons are very well organized, everything went smoothly. I feel like I improved a lot.

I took naps and reading breaks in the garden, cooked with other guests and in general, just enjoyed the vibe. It's very laid back and perfect for resting, shops in the town center are super close on foot, as well as a few nice restaurants :)

I will return during my next holidays !

Surfing camp setting encourages to connect with nature and other guests. Everyone was very friendly and it was easy to enjoy time all together without gadgets- playing cards, games and just talking about life

I had an excellent time. I was surfing the very first time while there and the instructors Davíd and Doménico always made sure I got the basics down by continuously providing valuable tips and tweaks to improve my technique. This way I was able to progress notably and at a good pace, and never felt stuck in a certain place of the process. The camp is located not too far walking from the local stores, but still remote enough to create a superbly relaxing environment. All levels of surfers are welcome, which leads to a very mixed crowd, which makes it easy to find nice people to spend the downtime with. When the skill level of the surfers in a group are too divided, they were split up so everyone could enjoy the lesson respective to their capabilities. I personally found the breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options, some sourced from the local goods grown directly on site at the camp. Surfing is possible for a second time during the day, free of charge. I would totally recommend it for anyone who wants to surf (no matter your previous experience) while relaxing in a calm environment with like-minded people!

Mir gefiel die Atmosphäre, einfach das Untereinander mit den anderen Campern. Wir haben uns alle beim Surfen supportet und waren wie eine kleine Familie. Das Camp lud auch zu einer familiären Situation ein.

Best thing was obviously the surfing, the owner and our surf coach Pablo reall put all his heart into giving you tips and making your stay great. Each morning we got breakfast and after that we went out surfing for roughly 3 hours. Waves were great during our stay around the end of march. Perfect for beginners but also a lot of waves for more advanced surfers. 10/10 would go again.

Wonderful camp with all the facilities needed for a surf camp.

Meeting all other people is really simple and Pablo's camp upholds staying with everyone.

Internet connection is difficult in the camp which is a really good thing in my point of view as everyone will be chilling in the camp.

I enjoyed staying at Bio surf camp a lot. Pablo is really nice, did an Amazing job taking care of us all and explaining surfing. Camp is quiet garden up the hills of Suances with lots of trees inside, really Nice spot for several days to spend. Also restaurants and bars are not that far away so you can get in there quite easily.

There was one more instructor Pablo, we said junior, amazing guy, really carring and lovely😄

Basically the whole trip was just a blast, I kinda booked this camp not really knowing what to excpect and when I came I was very pleased and surprised by whole setup of camp. Surfing was incredible and the waves were big(at least for my level of surfing). I made some new friends for life there which is probably the best thing that you can get out of this experiance!

The whole area is really beautiful and if you are looking for calm and friendly athmosphere, then this is the right place! The staff of the camp were very nice and accomodating. I was sleeping in a private tent and it was very comfortable, during my 5 day stay it was almost rainy the whole time but the tent was pretecting me from cold and rain.

The bio surf camp is highly recommendable and offers great mental relaxation in addition to the surf lessons. As surf beginners, we felt very well looked after and were able to ride a few waves after the week of lessons. In general, everything is very well organised and you always have someone who helps you . The camp is super nice. The accommodation serves its purpose perfectly and has a great swarm. In addition, the area is very nicely laid out and has lots of little details, which creates a great atmosphere. It is highly recommendable for people who want an adventure holiday and at the same time want to relax from the stress of everyday life.

The camping was really nice, it was comfortable and beautiful. It has everything you need. You can easily store some food and cook it, the bathrooms were quite clean and the outside showers are quite convenient.

The environment is also quite good and the beaches that they used for the lessons have breathtaking views.

All the instructors were quite friendly and good and it was a nice pleasure to surf with them. Also the organization was good and every day you were assigned a time for the next lesson and then asked if it was ok.

Furthermore, breakfast was also good, they give orange juice, cereal, milk, coffee, and amazing cake. There were people from many parts of the world and we can share experiences .

It was an amazing experience

The atmosphere at bio surfcamp is really what makes it such a great place to stay, it’s quiet, calm and peacefull and it’s easy to meet with others. We were a group of solo travelers who were hangin out throughout the day and it was so great. The two beaches in Suances are very nice and we had some good surfing lessons there. I would join the class in the morning and go surfing again in the afternoon.

I had such a great time at Bio Surfcamp that I definitely want to come back. I can’t recommend it enough!

The beds and tents are super comfortabel. The place is beautiful, quiet and peaceful.

The surflessons are very good. Groups are small. Instructors give good feedback. The toilets are super clean. There is enough space to put your stuff...

The camp environment was amazing! Everything was so green and you felt connected to nature. Also, the team was great. The employees had an amazing energy and were also connected to the camp outside of their working hours. The breakfast was always on time and had everything you need to start the surfing day, two kitchens provide everything you need to prepare yourself food for the rest of the day.

The camp is a bit further from the beach but the teachers drive back and forth to the camp for every session. If there is place in the van, they even take people to the beach for free if they want to surf outside of their lessons. Overall, the camp was great to learn surfing. The people that were randomly there with me were also amazing but that is by chance. Would totally recommand everyone to go!

Unterkunft hervorragend und in einer tollen Lage im ruhigen Garten. sehr gute Ausstattung und man bekommt was man sich erwartet von einem Bio-Surfcamp.

Era mi primera vez haciendo surf así que estaba un poco nerviosa pero Pablo me ayudo sentirme súper cómoda y segura de mis misma! Me lo pase genial en el Bio Surf Camp. Yo estaba viajando sola y los otros personas en el camp me hicieron sentirme como si fuera parte del grupo. La experiencia era genial. Lo recomiendo a todas personas y surfers, si que si nunca lo has probado antes! El camp también me parece como una pequeña Paradiso fuera de la ciudad, pero en realidad solo hay que caminar 10 minutitos para llegar al centro del pueblo. Muchas gracias por la experiencia inolvidable!

This was my first time doing anything like this and it was an awesome experience! Pablos calm demeanor and ease gave me the confidence to get into the water and even stand up on the board the first day. It was a blast. The camp is a serene oasis which feels like it’s own land, even though it’s a quick walking distance to the town. Highly recommend this experience for all, beginners and experienced surfers and anyone in between!

Ich habe die Woche im Bio Surf Camp sehr genossen und bin sogar noch einen Tag länger geblieben, am liebsten hätte ich noch eine Woche dran gehängt! Es herrschte eine wunderbare familiäre Atmosphäre im Camp, was man sich als einen großen Garten vorstellen kann. Ich bin alleine gereist und habe dort direkt Freude gefunden. Das Material (Surfboard und Neoprenanzug) kann man sich kostenlos ausleihen um auch außerhalb des Unterrichts zu üben, was nicht überall selbstverständlich ist.
