Sea view coliving designed for remote work, comfort, and recovery, you’ll stay at Bela Vista Coliving — a Portuguese-owned space run by me and my mum, Margarida, designed for remote workers and active lifestyles.
The property sits on a hill with open sea views, surrounded by gardens and nature — a calm environment to balance work and kitesurfing.
The setup is built for productivity and ease during your stay:

Shared spaces are designed to help you recharge after sessions:

Rooms range from standard to sea view and balcony options, as well as a private flat — all suitable for comfortable short and longer stays.
The environment is social but relaxed — not a party house. You’ll be part of a small group (max 8), making it easy to connect with others while still having space to focus.
The goal is simple: a place where you can work well, kite consistently, and feel at home from day one.
Programa
A 2-week rhythm designed for fast progression and balance, this experience is built around a simple idea: work when it is calm, kite when the wind is best.
Most days follow this structure:
- Morning: Focused work time — calm conditions, quiet environment, and proper coworking setup.
- Early afternoon: Wind starts building (typically from 13:00–14:00). Forecasts are checked, and the best spot for the day is selected.
- Afternoon/sunset: Kitesurf session — adapted to conditions and level (flat water or waves).
- Evening: Time to relax, cook, go out for dinner, or spend time with the group.
Some days include morning wind (around 30% of the time), allowing for early sessions and work later in the day. On lighter wind days, the focus shifts to kayaking, SUP, cycling, or exploring local food spots.
In two weeks, participants can expect around 10–12 sessions (conditions dependent), allowing for real confidence and progression.

Experiences designed to complement your time on the water:
- Ria Formosa downwinder: A unique kitesurf experience across the islands of the Ria Formosa Natural Park (conditions and level dependent).
- Kayak or SUP experience: Explore the Algarve coastline or lagoon channels on a no-wind or lighter wind day.
- Lagoon exploration: A relaxed paddle through the Ria Formosa — calm water, nature, and wildlife.
- Shared meals: Communal breakfasts when new guests arrive, and one shared dinner during the stay.
Ubicación
Based in the Ria Formosa Natural Park — Belavista Coliving is ideal for kitesurfing and remote work. You’ll be staying in the East Algarve, between Olhão and Fuseta — a part of the region known for its natural beauty, consistent wind, and more authentic, local feel.
This area offers one of the best setups in Europe for kitesurfing: a unique lagoon system for flat water progression, plus easy access to wave spots.
Within a short drive, reach multiple kite locations: Fuseta lagoon (flat water), Faro Island (flat + waves), and Alvor lagoon (world-class flat water).
The key advantage is flexibility — go where the wind is best each day, maximising your time on the water during your stay.
Beyond kitesurfing, the area offers a great balance for remote workers:
nature, quiet surroundings, and access to local restaurants, cafés, and markets.
Everything is close — beaches, food spots, and activities are within walking, cycling, or a short drive away.
This is a calmer, less crowded side of the Algarve — perfect for focusing, progressing, and enjoying the lifestyle.

Enjoy simple, local food with a focus on flexibility and community. Food is part of the experience — but this is not a fully catered stay.
On your first full day, you’ll join a communal breakfast with the group — a relaxed way to settle in and connect.
Each time a new guest arrives, repeat this with a shared breakfast, creating regular moments where the group comes together naturally.
Belavista Coliving also includes one shared dinner during your stay, often prepared with fresh, local ingredients — sometimes cooked by Margarida.
Expect simple, high-quality food inspired by the Algarve: fresh fish, seafood, seasonal vegetables, and local produce.
Outside of the included meals, you have full flexibility: there is a shared kitchen, and we often organise informal group meals or go out together. The area is known for its excellent food — one of the best places in the region for fresh ingredients.
There are also several great local restaurants within walking or cycling distance, specialising in grilled fish, seafood, and traditional Portuguese dishes. Whether you prefer cooking, eating out, or joining others, you’ll have plenty of options.

Arrival by airplane
The nearest airport is Faro Airport (FAO), located around 25–30 minutes from the property.
From the airport, you have several options:
- Taxi / Uber — the easiest option, typically 20 to 30 EUR depending on time of day
- Train — from Faro to Olhão or Fuseta, followed by a short taxi ride
- Bus — available but less convenient with luggage
Once your booking is confirmed, you'll be provided with the exact location, directions, and tips to make your arrival smooth.
Belavista Coliving can also help coordinate arrivals where possible — especially if multiple guests are arriving around the same time.
If you plan to rent a car, there is free parking available on site. Belavista Coliving recommends arriving during the daytime if possible, as it makes finding the property easier and allows you to settle in comfortably.
