Valle was an outstanding instructor – patient, fun, and highly skilled. He has an excellent ability to assess every situation carefully, ensuring that safety always comes first. With him, I felt both comfortable and in very good hands.

La Maison is a truly wonderful place to stay. Tanja takes exceptional care of both the house and her guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Morning yoga and breakfast are the perfect way to start the day, and Tanja is always available with thoughtful support and great recommendations.

All in all, it’s an experience I can wholeheartedly recommend – a place you’ll be glad you visited.

The surf instructor was nice and went a step above to help. There weren't much waves but they were willing to stay in the water for just a few waves. They also offered great criticism.

I recently stayed at Eco House Surf Camp in Máncora and had such a great experience, I’m already hoping to return. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organized, and welcoming—largely thanks to Tanya, who truly runs the show with warmth and precision.

Tania made sure all logistics were handled—from airport pickups to organizing surf lessons and giving great local food recommendations. She’s kind, clear, fun to be around, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. You can tell she genuinely cares about making your stay easy and enjoyable.

The accommodations were clean, stylish, and very comfortable—a great space to relax between surf sessions. While the camp isn’t directly on the beach, it’s only a short walk away, and Tania arranged access to a beachfront hotel where we could grab our rental surfboards and keep our belongings safe. The surf break was literally right out front, making it super convenient to paddle out and catch waves without any hassle.

Another highlight was the community vibe. La Maison seems to attract laid-back, interesting, and social travelers. Mornings over breakfast turned into meaningful conversations and easy friendships. It felt like a little family by the end of the trip.

5 minute walk to a spectacular left point break that was excellent for 8 out of our 12 days in Mancora! Great spot that accommodates both new and experienced surfers! Pilar helped me and my group out the entire time, with great instructors, nice boards, and an incredibly friendly and kind energy! Fantastic surfing when the waves were pumping!

The staff (Tanya and Axel) were extremely friendly, helpful and adept at recommending things to do and places to eat. I had a nasty sunburn and they offered aloe vera leaves growing around the facilities to help ease the pain. Breakfast every morning was delicious.

I had a great time! The accommodation is located super close to the main surf beach, less than a 5-minute walk. The place is very nice and quiet, the room was cleaned daily and the breakfast was served fresh every morning. Any issues that came up were quickly addressed and resolved.

The surf and yoga classes are organized with local instructors, and everything was really well coordinated.

I really enjoyed my time at La Maison and in Máncora!

Our host Tanya took care of us and helped us feel like locals. Fantastic yoga teachers have class everyday except Sunday in a studio on the grounds, and the surf teachers are all pros! Highly recommended!

Really friendly and hospitable stay. Tania and Axel make a real effort to make sure things go smoothly and you have a great time. Surf is excellent and perfect for beginners and intermediates.

I spent my Christmas and New Years week at la maison and couldn't have booked a better place! Very friendly staff, healthy and yummy breakfast (that was vegan-ized for me), cozy accomodation and just a very nice vibe at this place. Unfortunately I had to stop the surfing after one lesson due to some health issues. Yoga with Patty was great, she is a very experienced teacher. I definitely recommend to stay at this place!

Everyone at La Masion was positive, friendly, and very welcoming. There was a cozy, laid back feel at the beautiful la masion and a chill kite vibe at the perfectly located kite club, it was great! The breakfast was AMAZING each day, fruit, orange juice, coffee, eggs, pancakes or bread, mmm so good.

I can’t say enough how perfect this place was.

Had a great time with Axel and his team. Ended up trying kite surfing even though it wasn't part of my original plan. Axel was super helpful and attentive to all of my requests! Great instructors as well. Highly recommend.

I had the best stay for a bit more than a week at La Maison! The accomodation is very beautiful, people are super nice and the breakfast is amazing!! I took some surf lessons and the instructors are very helpful as they only take one student at a time. Highly recommendable!!
