Surflife

The day was organised very well, we normally don't like too many activities, but this was just the right balance.

The whole environment and atmosphere was great, we felt part of a community of people even though we are not even Dutch.

Van het ontvangst tot het vertrek alles goed geregeld. Leuke ambiance, leuke mensen van de organisatie en leuke mensen ontmoet. Ontzettend leuke, gemoedelijke sfeer. Genoten van de surflessen welke met veel enthousiasme en humor gegeven werden. Erg leuk dat er fotograven aanwezig waren die mooie plaatjes hebben geschoten terwijl je aan het surfen was. Eten was heerlijk. Locatie was prachtig.. mooie camping en mooi gebied wij zijn gewend er wat meer ook op uit te gaan. Prachtig om te surfen waarvoor je ook daar bent natuurlijk en mimizan is een heel leuk plaatsje maar verder is alles vrij ver uit te buurt. San Sebastian is een stukje rijden maar zeker een aanrader. Al met al een top vakantie. We wilde helemaal nog niet naar huis.

Die Leute und Crew waren sehr offen und absolut freundlich und lustig, vor allem war das Abendessen immer soo lecker!

Die Lodge ist nahe vom Meer, die Surfboards können so oft wie gewollt benutzt werden. Die Leute in der Lodge waren entspannt. Der Surflehrer Thom machte einen tollen Job.

We had a great time in Mimizan and everybody was very Nice. A few details could have made it even better.

We did not know many of the workers in the Camp and What their funktion was. It would be great with an introduktion to everybody on the first Night.

It was quite onstructured the first surfday and also the subsurfing.

On surflessons: It would be good to split parents and kids or have an extra person only watching the kids. I did not feel comfortable to let my self surf when the kids surfed, because I did not feel the instructors could have eyes on us surfing and also maling sure no kids were overtaken by the wawes.

But a great holiday and a great staff, but minor details could male it much better :)
