Pata Negra Surf

We had a great time in Tarifa with the Pata Negra gang!

Jana was great, extremely helpful, always available and has organized everything for us perfectly!

All instructors were great as well. My friend did surf with Jhon and then started also the kite lessons with Jaime and Ricardo and had a great experience with all of them, improving her surf skills!

I had my kite lessons with Jaime and he was great, he has understood my level and needs and I feel I have improved a lot during the days we spent together.

The hotel was perfect both in terms of location and accomodation, just in front of the Valdevaqueros beach, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Also having Jhon picking up my friend for the surf lessons was a great help and enabled us to enjoy our stay at best!

I do highly recommend joining Pata Negra Surf if you are planning to go to Tarifa :)

I was immediately met with a warm welcome, and as a beginner I had a great week learning with Jana and Jhon. They were very professional and encouraged me to get up on the board for the first time, so glad I booked.

They made it a lot of fun and had a lot patience with me, I had some lessons previously that were a very different contrast to their expertise and equipment. I'm so grateful to have a restored confidence and now eager to go again.

I stayed at the hostel Sulok, it's a nice friendly place to come back to of an evening and to meet other people and chat.

I also took some surfing lessons which were nice balance in between.

Learning strapless was easy with Johns coaching. I am an experienced twintip rider,but wanted to shorten the learning curve with strapless. John evaluated my stance and gave me instruction and a few exercises. He knows his strapless, and really enjoys teaching it. He made sure I was on the right equipment for the conditions, and had a great time.
