Diego Ulises Bernal is from Santa Cruz de Miramar, Nayarit, a small village that has amazing waves, where he started surfing at the age of 11. Diego is a master short boarder and has been National Champion as well as gone to the Pan-American Surf Games placing the highest in rankings for Mexico. His patience in the water is undeniable and his love for surfing is an addiction. Surfing is everything to Diego! He enjoys sharing this love of surfing with anyone and everyone who wants to learn no matter what level. His dream is to surf and enjoy life.

Chuy is a dedicated surfer and coach who grew up deeply connected to the ocean. His approach to teaching goes beyond technique — he focuses on presence, respect for the sea, and building confidence in the water. As a coach at Tecas, Chuy supports surfers at every level, guiding them with patience, safety, and a strong sense of community. He is also part of the local surf culture that Tecas proudly supports, inspiring younger generations to grow through surfing while staying connected to their roots.
