Raised along South Africa’s coast, Matt grew up immersed in surf culture—developing a smooth, flowing style and a passion for sharing the joy of riding waves with others. His easy-going nature, infectious stoke, and natural empathy make him an exceptional guide and mentor. Simon Fish is a second-generation South African surfer, raised on the wild, wave-rich coastline near East London. Introduced to surfing by his father, he spent his early years exploring the untamed pointbreaks of the Wild Coast - an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for surf adventure. A former competitive surfer and current South African Masters Champion, he has travelled extensively, chasing waves across Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and throughout Africa, including Namibia, Mozambique, and Liberia. In his early twenties, Simon began shaping boards.
