Kitesurf Ometepe

Short version: amazing location, amazing lessons and all round a great vibe.

Long version: Had the most amazing time here, even before I arrived Olga was giving me advice on the best way to travel from Costa Rica and arranged taxis and scooter hire for me (even got the scooter dropped at my accommodation so I didn’t have to walk/taxi to the rental). I had had a few hours of lessons before in Morocco and slightly spooked myself and ruddy was so calm and patient whilst making sure I progressed and pushed myself. He explained everything so I understood everything I was doing and felt confident. The team were really flexible and gave good advice on when best to go out rather than just trying to up the hours etc. Others in my dorm (beginner and intermediate) were also at the kite school and had other instructors who were also apparently incredible good and supportive. The location is stunning, there is so much to do on the island and kiting in just a bikini is such a treat!
