The best thing about the trip was the surfing and the beach, with it being afew miles long it hardly ever gets crowed and you have so many options of waves. I'd definitely recommend the surf school but not the accommodation

my daughter (16) and I spent 3 days in Somo and did the surfing lessons 3 times. Great instructors, fantastic fun. The surfing cabins were more than I expected. It was a simple but clean room, very central, 3 min walk to the surfing school and a few steps to the local facilities like shops, restaurants etc. I definitely recommend the surfing school and the place Somo - quiet and very chill atmosphere, nice people and beautiful surroundings

Superb break - a fantastic beach, wonderful location, amazing hosts and brilliant surf. The surf hotel staff were so kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed immediately and loved the warm family atmosphere. It felt like home away from home. Can't wait to return.
