DAR IZIKI

Wir waren zu dritt für vier Tage im Surfcamp und sind immer noch total begeistert! Von Anfang an wurden wir super herzlich empfangen und die Betreuung war einfach top, total persönlich, aufmerksam und flexibel. Es wurde komplett auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, sodass wir ein richtig individuelles Erlebnis hatten.

In den paar Tagen haben wir unglaublich viel erlebt und konnten richtig in die Surfkultur eintauchen. Besonders hervorheben müssen wir auch das Essen: einfach mega lecker! Frisch, einheimisch und mit ganz viel Liebe gemacht, wir haben uns jeden Tag darauf gefreut.

Alles in allem war es eine unvergessliche Zeit mit einer perfekten Mischung aus Abenteuer, Entspannung und guter Gesellschaft. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The highlight was Ismail, the surf instructor, along with the accommodation staff everyone was incredibly welcoming and created a fantastic atmosphere.

Mehr als ich erwartet hatte. Insbesondere zusammen mit der Surf School zu empfehlen. Das surfen war hammer und Esmail hat uns alles beigebracht, was man in einer Woche lernen konnte. Außerdem hat uns zusätzlich noch wunderschöne Orte gezeigt.

To anyone that is looking into Dar Iziki, especially being part of the surf camp, you should book this holiday without any hesitation.

The food, the surf, the activities, the hotel….everything was incredible. But most of all, the people. Everyone, especially Esmail (the surf instructor) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were all heart-warming people, eager to offer you the best Moroccan experience.

Esmail und seine ganze Familie haben von Anfang an alles dafür getan, dass wir uns wie ein Teil der Familie fühlen konnten. Vor allem der spontane, marokkanische Kochabend war super.

Everything was really great, nice place, great people and good food. They took so amazing care of us. Also the lessons were great. Everything was good explained and easy to follow. We had so much fun.

Everything was better than I thought! The beach is amazing and really nice place to surf. Also the hotel was really nice. Amazing athmosphere.

It was a pleasure to stay at your place, and we really enjoyed the surf lessons, we are definitely motivated to keep on going practicing :-) The breakfast and dinner at Dar Iziki was always made fresh and with a lot of love. Thanks for the funny and also relaxing time.

It was really really nice! The staff was super friendly and would help you with everything if you needed help! The Rooms and the toilets were clean and they also had yoga mats and a nice terrace to do yoga in the Morning:)

The Surf lessons were really helpful and and we had a lot of fun!

You could go to the Beach and to the shops+restaurants Easily from the accomodation and Esmail will give you recommendations where To Go !

The experience was more than I could have hoped for. The surfing lessons were great, as a beginner I was able to build my confidence and progress thanks to the support and encouragement of the instructor. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely yummy! The village is quiet but perfect to relax and have an authentic local experience.

The surfshop was friendly, directly at the beach and full of easy going friendly locals hanging around. Esmail is an amazing relaxed teacher with excellent humour, lots of patients and a sharp eye for the tiniest mistakes in ones surf skills. Thanks to him we now stand on the board instead of hanging under. I actually discovered that my board has some pretty amazing art work on top.

The stay was very good, and Ahmed, Esmail and his friend took very good care of everything. Their suggestions for where to eat (for example at chez Labdy) should be followed!

Super breakfasts, relaxed nature of surfing lessons, friendly and helpful staff

The instructor was really has a great skill to teach how to surf. Especially as a beginner, with him, I can enjoy surfing all the time :) and the staff in the hotel are so friendly and kind. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is good, clean and very close to the beach, with a beautiful swimming pool area. In a relaxing atmosphere, it is easy to socialize with other guests, and the hosts are very welcoming. The breakfast is really good and tasty!

Esmail is an amazing surf instructor, very kind and patient, and always willing to help. The location for the surf is just stunning. It is a long beach with fine sand where you can also do other activities like riding a horse or a camel. There is a good atmosphere in the village, and people there are very friendly. Highly recommended!

1. The surf lesson is perfect. I think Esmail is a very good teacher or maybe a psychologist. In the end, I could commend the skills for beginners well and surf myself with any white wave. The sense of achievement to catch a wave and control your surf board is brillient.

2. Since food is not compulsive in the package, I could choose whatever I want to eat. Most of time, I went to a restaurant behind the beach which provides cheap and abundant food. You can even cook a meal by yourself in the kitchen or maybe eat with other travellers together.

3. The hotel they providing is beyond my expectation. You can have multiple choices of rooms with different number of beds depending on your group or yourself. I went alone, so I asked for a single bed room and had a private environment. However, make sure you book it in advance and consult them first.

4. People in the town are very kind and helpful. Besides, you could experience other activities like horse-riding or explore the nearby city Essouira. If you are good at music, especially guitar, I believe you could find fun there. I appreciate that they have a good service awareness, because they always try to think in the customers' side and improve the service.

Small tips: Remember to use sun-proof cream if your skin is sensitive. The bus there is once every 2 hours. You can discuss price with taxi driver. Pringles is expensive there. Eggs are delicious.

Sidi Kaouki surf town is an amazing place because of it's spectacular views of the ocean and long sandy beaches. Very calming and relaxing area. The rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast very tasty and the stuff is super friendly. The surfing lessons in the mornings are so much fun and afterwards you can also practice what you learned on your own. It was such a positive experience for me that I can only recommend.

It's a great place for a very chilled out, relaxed holiday to focus on Surfing, soaking up the Sunshine and chatting with the locals. The host and instructor are funny, welcoming and accommodating and organised everything quickly, professionally and with a smile and a joke! The accommodating is great, really clean, modern and with Berber charm and the food (eaten on the rooftop terrace, overlooking the sea and village life) made a great start to the day. If you are looking for a slower pace of life Surf holiday, where you experience local Culture and meet lovely, interesting people, then I cannot reccomend Aftass Club enough!

Esperienza inaspettata in un posto fantastico lontano dai rumori della città e immerso nella natura.

La Surf House è vicinissima alla spiaggia, ha una terrazza enorme con vista sul mare, dove fare colazione o sorseggiare il té pronto a qualsiasi ora.

La Surf House è pulita, silenziosa e accogliente. Sempre attenti alle esigenze e a tutte le richieste degli ospiti.

Sono state organizzate cene con cibo tipico e musica berbera.

Il corso di surf è ben organizzato. Due ore di lezione ogni giorno e tavola e muta disponibili per tutta la settimana a qualsiasi ora. Pochi partecipanti per ogni lezione, seguiti con attenzione.

In una settimana ho sentito di aver fatto enormi progressi. Nella settimana in cui sono capitata le condizioni non erano buone e il primo giorno è stato molto difficile, ma il maestro mi ha incoraggiato e seguito nel modo giusto. In poco tempo ho imparato ad essere autonoma tra le onde e a divertirmi e giocare con la tavola.

Il paesino è piccolo, tranquillo e sicuro. Niente inquinamento acustico né illuminazione artificiale: il sottofondo della vostra giornata sarà il rumore delle onde che si infrangono sulla spiaggia, percepibile anche a distanza, strade e campi dove incontrare animali liberi, la sera cielo pieno di stelle. Ci sono tanti locali tipici dove cenare.

Incluso nel pacchetto passeggiata sulla spiaggia a cavallo di un cammello, da provare!

Un posto che merita davvero. Mi sono sentita a casa! Grazie!

the teacher transmits very good energy, always with a smile and very cordial. He speaks several languages, it will not be difficult to get along with anyone. there are enough boards and neoprene, also kayak. also the accommodation has simple but many amenities, near the beach, with different spaces in which to be and the staff equally pleasant and outstanding. the place is calm and the waves good, a good option to add to your trip. I definitely recommend it, and I would repeat, a good experience and a good memory. I will miss him for a long time.

I really like Sidi Kaouki and this was my first surfing experience here. I enjoy classes with Esmail, especially when he was explaining how to read waves and he tries to correct my technique. I am beginner but I didn't feel stress about going out to catch some waves and it is never really crowded and people here are always nice to you in the water. I also think that it is very good that this surf camp does not have groups bigger than 4-5 people so the instructor can really see you and teach you things in the water...Esmail and his brother Ahmad create very welcoming atmosphere in their place and they help you with anything you need.

A stay with Aftass is an opportunity to join a welcoming community of enthusiastic and interesting young people living a good life. Ahmed's sincere warmth and diligence in hospitality at the guest house and Esmail's accommodating and knowledgeable instruction in the art of the surf could hardly be improved upon. Facilities are adequate for most everything you'd need, probably, and a nearby and very inexpensive restaurant serves probably the best food I've had in over two months in Morocco, in a charming and memorable setting, too--when you don't want to eat the home cooking together with the crew. Also, if you can't bring surf gear or friends with you, don't worry, they've got you covered!

If you're a complete beginner, this is the best place to learn. The beach has very little people so you feel no pressure to make mistakes. Ismail gives you little tips and tricks to tweak so that you can slowly surf better and better. By the end of it I was able to stand and surf all the way to the beach! Highly recommended. Also the accommodation is very good and the breakfast is also very good and caters to vegans and vegetarians also. The chef Ahmed makes very good crepes and has a very good bluetooth speaker! Thanks again guys, miss you all especially Number 9 hahaha
