Had a great time at this surf school! Instructors were excellent for teaching surfing and some knowledge on how to work with the ocean for surfing. Everything was taken care of; equipment, transport, where and when to go for surfing, amd accomodation, and, everything is on time. Great people at the surf school, and the accomodation as well. Also, good communication with everyone, and clear imstructions to get to the accomodation. Good vibes over all, and very professional. 100% I would recommend.

I enjoyed my whole time at this lovely surf camp. The accommodation has got everything you need and the people working here are very kind and relaxed.

The surf lessons were perfect for me as a beginner and I am able to go surfing on my own now :) That’s more than I expected!

Amazing experience

Just got home from a 7 day stay with Atlantic Coast Surf School with 5 days of surfing.

I had such an awesome time.

I had surfed before but was definitely still a beginner.

By the end of the week I had definitely seen an improvement in my skill level. I’m definitely still a beginner but I’m a slightly improved beginner.

Tomas was great instructor and pushed me to ensure I got the most out of my lessons. He’s also really encouraging and continually gave me pointers throughout the lessons.

The rest of the team really looked after me and were so friendly. I stayed in the surf house and it was a great place to stay. Lovely room and the house is situated a few minutes walk from the beach and so close to so many nice places to eat.

Can’t speak highly enough of this experience. I would definitely love to go again soon.

Wir hatten mit der Familie einen super Surfkurs. Wir konnten an 5 Tagen das Surfen vertiefen. Die Surflehrer sind motiviert, aufgestellt und machen es gerne - Super.

The experience as a family!!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und sehr lehrreiche und lustige Surfstunden. Eine absolute Empfehlung, vor allem auch für Surfanfänger. Die Unterkunft ist total nett und sauber und wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und aufgenommen. Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Coach João is so patient and smooth. He gave enough time for each one of us and helped us improve at our own rythm.

The instructors were a lot of fun & always really good at picking out when to teach you the next step, or allow you more practice. They made me feel very calm and safe and were always up for a laugh!! Thank you so much Jonny & Rodrigo.

The hostel was great. It's an old converted family house and it does have the feeling of being a bit random/walking into someone's home, but once you spend a night or 2 there you realise how nice it is. It's very safe, everyone was very friendly and it was nice being able to cook with other people in the evenings as a solo traveler. The organised activities (hike/BBQ/bar trip) were a great way to get to know people without being over-bearing. Carlos was super helpful with changing my room on the first day to make me feel more comfortable too which was greatly appreciated. I would describe it as a budget hostel so don't expect anything fancy e.g. there's one old fashioned bathroom between quite a lot of people. But I am not fussy so it was very good for me :D

Supernettes Personal, waren sehr spaßig, dass sich vor allem am BBQ-Dienstag zeigte.

Surfspot hatte in den meisten Fällen gute Wellen.

Hatte doppelt so viel Surflessons und das zahlte sich auch aus.

Hatte einmalige Surferfahrung ein Jahr davor und lernte dazu. Ab Tag 3 war das Aufstehen am Bord wieder leichter.

Continental Frühstück war dabei, obwohl nicht gebucht.

Große Küche, naher Supermarkt (5 Minuten weg), Nähe zum Strand (15 Minuten), Pool sauber, Unterkunfts sehr sauber,

We loved the location and the instructors who were very patient with us!

Ich habe mich im Santa Cruz Surf Camp sehr wohlgefühlt, gut geschlafen, in der Hängematte oder am Pool gechillt und lecker gefrühstückt.

Danke an Luis- durch seine Surf Tipps konnte ich schon am ersten Tag auf dem Surfbrett stehen! Surfen ist eine der besten Erfahrungen in meinem Leben! Ich würde wieder kommen!!

Die Unterkunft war nicht die gleiche wie die auf den Bildern von dem Packet was ich gebucht hatte. Das war weiters nicht schlimm weil die Unterkunft sehr sauber und schön war.(aber man kommt halt mit einer anderen Erwartung). Wir hatten mit vielen verschiedenen Surflehrern zu tun und mein Highlight war die Surfstunde mit Pedro. Pedro ist sicher einer der besten Surflehrer die ich bis jetzt hatte. Auch der Spot wo wir waren war von den Verhältnissen wirklich Top

Mein Freund und ich sind durch unsere Flüge relativ früh im Surf Haus angekommen. Die Leute dort waren super lieb und haben uns früher in unsere Zimmer gelassen. Wir hatten durch unsere frühe Ankunft genügend Zeit den Ort zu erkunden - ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort.

Das Surfcamp war zu der Zeit, wo wir gebucht hatten, relativ leer, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, da wir dadurch das Bad und die Küche fast komplett für uns alleine hatten.

Am nächsten Tag haben unsere Surfstunden angefangen und wir haben uns direkt super aufgehoben gefühlt! Wir sind mit dem Bus ca. 3/4h nach Peniche an den Strand gefahren, da dort die Bedingungen zum Surfen besser waren. Der Unterricht hat super Spaß gemacht und wurde direkt an unsere Fähigkeiten angepasst. Wir hatten sogar Glück und an drei der fünf Tage sogar Einzelunternehmen. Es wurde permanent auf unsere Sicherheit geachtet. Alles in allem eine mega tolle Erfahrung. Würden wir so sofort wieder buchen!

I enjoyed the surf lessons and the trekking days very much. The instructors were very good at their craft and also very understanding, as i was a complete beginner to surfing. Very lovely staff!

Everything amazing staff friendly showed me some amazing spot took me to an amazing surf spot he got me up on a smaller board and thr villa was amazing and big.. hughly recommend bookong them. They are very accomadating as well

I loved everything! Accommodation were great, surf lessons were informative and very fun, other surfers made the experience even more enjoyable! Food at the hotel was also superb. I will definitely come back

Die Surf Sessions

Meine Tochter mit Downsyndrom wurde super in die Gruppe integriert und nach ihren Fähigkeiten gecoacht. Diese entspannte Art, alle in der Gruppe individuell weiter zu bringen hat mir gut gefallen. Die Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams war einfach wunderbar. Das Haus und die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt.

I loved the team. Pedro and the instructors were super welcoming, easy going and dedicated to helping students learn. The location is beautiful, waves can be wild so it’s a great place to challenge yourself!

Alle Surflehrer waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Strände und Zeiten zum Surfen wurden nach den Bedingungen angepasst. Meist war die Gruppengröße sehr angenehm! Großes etwas älteres Hostel mit zwei großen Küchen die immer sauber waren , sehr nette Leute. Manchmal Programm am Abend zb gemeinsamen Grillen oder Wandern. Alles sehr chillig und gelassen 🙂

Ich war gemeinsam mit meinem Partner für eine Woche im Surfcamp. Wir waren in einem Doppelzimmer und das Zimmer war sehr groß. Das Frühstück war super. Zum Surfen sind wir aufgrund von dem Wellengang mehrmals nach Peniche gefahren. Man hat in der Woche also viel gesehen. Die Surfstunden haben viel Spaß gemacht und man hat viel gelernt in einer Woche.

Aktivitäten wie Hiking, ein gemeinsames Abendessen und ein Barbecue waren im Preis auch inbegriffen und haben uns super gefallen.

The whole team was just great. Both the organisation, the teaching and the staff in the hostel.

The whole team is super accommodating and dedicated and really want you to have the best week.

Marta and Stephan were so friendly and kind. They even organised some extra excursions/ meals out so that the group could bond together.

The instructors were great at giving personalised tips and groups were based on ability so everyone could improve. I particularly loved having lessons with Johnny and Thomas as they were very helpful but also made the whole experience a fun one!

All of the instructors and the staff were amazing...they really made this whole experience. The instructors were very professional and extremely patient.Myself and my sister had the best time ever. The surf villa was perfect..we really enjoyed the pool and the BBQ at the end of the week. Big shout out to Steph, Tomas, Marta and Johnny (love you guys) xxxx

Wir hatten unglaublich viel Spaß gehabt🏄! Ich bedanke mich sehr herzlich beim gesamte Team des Surfcamps 🤩🥰😎 Ich habe mein Traumurlaub direkt neben Ozean gehabt❤️. Eines besonderes großes Dankeschön bei Luis: am ersten Tag war mein Sohn (9 Jahre) verzweifelt, ob er das alles schafft. Die Wellen waren groß und er hat Angst gehabt. Aber dank Luis hat er probiert🏄...und wollte weiter machen😎. Letztendlich hat Surfing ihm sehr sehr gefallen🥰.

Unglaublich schöner Strand und Ozean!

I had the most amazing time here. Pedro and his crew are amazing. So friendly and easy to talk to, I came to this trip with no experience in surfing they had standing up on day 1! Honestly this was the best trip I've been on and I plan to come back in September :)

I had a great time with Pedro, Rodrigo and the team. They were always looking for the perfect surfing conditions and one day, we even went to a beach about one hour away from the camp. The instructions were very helpful and the lessons super fun. I was so happy when I actually catched a wave. Thank you so much for your help and advice, Pedro and Rodrigo!

I and my friend arrived safely at the facility (thanks to detailed instruction from Pedro), lessons were amazing, very detailed as well, very professional. Pedro was very helpful! We felt secure and confident about lessons. The dorm was great as well. All the food recommendations were 100% true as well! Can't complain :)

Leuke mensen: heel aardig, attent en behulpzaam. Ook enorm genoten het surfen en er is veel nog mogelijk qua lessen verschuiven of bijplannen.

We like the accomodation, it was very nice, clean and well equipped. Also the surf lessons with Pedro was great, Pedro always found us great spot to surf and give us usefull and practicle advice. So we really enjoyed the whole time spending with Atlantic Coast Surf School.

I’m from Ireland and I brought my two sons 6tears and 8years and myself to Surfing recently, in December with Atlantic Coast Surf School in Portugal. Our instructor Pedro, met us at the airport and drove us to our accommodation. He got in touch two days beforehand and suggested he would get us some groceries, that we might need on arrival, which was an excellent idea And I agreed. We arrived late at the airplane Pedro met us with our groceries and drove us to our accommodation. Each morning Pedro met us and drove us to a suitable location to surf that was suitable for our level.

The lessons were excellent. And I improved over the few day and had lots of fun. My two boys had so much fun they did not want to leave. They also improved their surfing.

Pedro was great with the kids. Very safe, patient with the kids and very friendly.

The service Pedro provided was excellent, I haven’t experienced better anywhere. Extremely professional, safe, friendly and thoughtful individual.

I would not hesitate to recommend Atlantic Coast Surfing School.

Everything very good. Acoomandation as well as The volunteers were really nice Ansbach friendly. Surf Lessons also very good and easy to learn due to our man Pedro. Very Kind guy and very helpful! All in all an awesome experience with nice People in a Great nature!

The Atlantic Coast Surf School is the perfect place to learn surfing...

The instructors were excellent, focused on safety and ensuring that the students learned and had a great experience. My two children (ages 7 and 10) were well taken care of and want to come back in the future.
