On the stunning Famara Beach, a strip of volcanic sand that stretches for six kilometers (the longest on the entire island), you will find perfect conditions for learning and practicing surfing all year round.

Every morning, the instructors - certified by the Canarian Surfing Federation (Federación Canaria de Surf, FCS), Spanish Surfing Federation (Federación Española de Surf, FES), by the International Surfing Association (ISA) and British Surfing Association (BSA); and experts in lifesaving and first aid - look for a spot on the beach with the best conditions and that best suits the level of students to start the lessons.

It doesn’t matter what day you arrive, you can come to the surf camp any day of the week and start surfing the next day. Incredible views, heavenly places, sun, blue skies, waves, fine sand, a spectacular six-kilometer-long beach, fun, adventures, parties, companionship, and above all a chance to meet and share everything this magnificent island has to offer with interesting people from all over the world.

Level 1: Beginner

On this level you are all beginners, so no need to worry. The instructors are exceptionally motivated to patiently teach you all that you need to know to start catching your first waves. You will all share the excitement of your progress surfing in the best surroundings.

The qualified instructors, also experts in lifesaving and first aid, guarantee that in 25 hours you will be catching waves on your board. You will also learn all the techniques and safety norms needed to practice surfing so that sooner than later you will become an independent surfer and start surfing freely and safely wherever you go.

ZooPark Famara guarantees that if you are not surfing in five days, you can take the surf course again for free.

Level 2 and 3: Intermediate and advanced

Zoopark Famara Surf, SUP and Kitesurf School Lanzarote has designed this course for surfers with some prior experience in the sport.

If you have already completed a Level 1 course and would like to move on to a higher level, if your goal is to learn or correct certain techniques and advanced tricks, or if you had a long break in your training and want to refresh your knowledge, all the while making new friends and sharing experiences with adventurers from all over the world, this course is for you.

The instructors will evaluate your skills, guide you, and correct everything that needs to be corrected so that you can rapidly evolve in surfing.
