Welcome to the stunning Ecuador coast for an unforgettable yoga retreat! Deepen your practice with Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Gentle Yoga classes daily. Take time to release tension, recharge, and reset. You will find the inspiration you need and healthy habits to get into a new rhythm. The setting is cozy and warm, reflecting the nurturing environment that will host you on your yoga holiday.
You will stay at La Española Hotel in Ecuador. Private rooms include en-suite bathroom with large shower, Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, hot water, and a fan while shared rooms include bunk beds for two, en-suite bathroom with large shower, Wi-Fi, hot water, and a fan.
Your day will include three gourmet meals, and one to two yoga classes each day. Free time is left for meditation, journaling, beach time, exploring, and more. La Espanola Hotel keeps the schedule fairly loose and tailors the day to meet your rhythm. Packages can be tailored to include cooking lessons, Spanish lessons, additional massages, and day trips.
Gentle Yoga is perfect for beginners, seniors or anyone looking for a gentle practice.
Hatha incorporates asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and various forms of meditation. Get comfortable with yoga while building strength and flexibility, and learning relaxation techniques. This is an all levels class and is great if you're new to yoga, with options offered for advanced yogis too. Hatha 2 is 90 minutes and advanced.
Meditation topics include mindfulness, body awareness, the Chakra system, and more.
Vinyasa teaches us to flow through life and from one pose to the next while matching our breath and movement. It's as much of a fast-paced work out as it is a moving meditation.
Yin aims to open and release tension with long holds in restorative postures. We use little muscular exertion and instead focus on the fascia and connective tissue, strengthening our joints and opening our bodies as we turn our attention inward.
Yoga Basics is a good choice for beginners, but great for all levels. You will be guided through the building blocks of Hatha yoga learning proper alignment, focused effort and release, and breathing techniques. Not just for beginners, a strong practice begins with a solid foundation and can fine tune anyone's practice.
Note: La Española Hotel offers two classes daily on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The hotel offers one class daily on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Stephanie began her practice over a decade ago as a balance to the daily grind of big city life. As her relationship to self and her life as a whole improved, she began sharing this gift with the world in 2014 after her 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training. She recently completed her 500-hour certification in Rishikesh, India, and truly meets her students where they are, teaching from a healing perspective or advancing into more challenging postures. Traveling through life and now living in Ecuador, she hopes to be part of your journey as well.
This retreat will take place at La Española Hotel in Olon, Ecuador, which is located three blocks from the beach in Olon and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The town is known for its relaxed ambiance and friendly people. The beach is wide and expansive, with lots of opportunities to explore.
Daily vegetarian or vegan meals are included in the price.
A massage is available for an extra cost.
