Join Yoga Laila for a surf and yoga adventure in a spectacular environment! Every morning you will start with a sunrise yoga session on the rooftop terrace facing the ocean. You will feel safe and supported no matter what your level or surf experience is, and be able to make much progress over the week and have a lot of fun. Surf, do yoga, relax, and reconnect with nature!
You will stay for a total of seven nights at Blue Kaouki in shared double and private room occupancy basis. The Blue Kaouki is a beachfront hotel just 50 meters from the sea. It is the perfect place to relax, tune to the rhythm of the waves, and enjoy the quiet and peaceful scenery. Making it a perfect base for your yoga and surf retreat.
The cozy rooms offer a quiet atmosphere and all the comforts. There is an amazing rooftop terrace, where you will find many areas to relax and enjoy the 270 degrees view. This is where you will practice yoga either outside or inside the big glass pergola overlooking the ocean. Sun worshippers can enjoy the privacy of sun loungers during the day and this is also where you will have breakfast in the morning. %During the evening yoga, you will get the chance to contemplate the stunning sunsets when coming back from days full of surf, sea, salt, and sun. The clean air makes it possible to gaze into a thousand-star lit sky at night. The friendly team of the Blue Kaouki is there to make you feel at home during your stay.
Come and play in the waves! Reconnect with nature and yourself for an amazing yoga and surf adventure. After morning yoga session and a sunny breakfast, you will go and find the best surf spots, discover the most beautiful secret beaches and unspoiled nature of the area. Before dinnertime, there will a Restorative yoga session to unwind and relax. There will be no yoga on Wednesday evening to leave time for an afternoon visit of Essaouira.
Laila likes to help students to listen more to their bodies and share tools that can help them feeling freer on all levels. She also likes to put emphasis on rejuvenating practices to recharge the inner batteries. Her classes are process-oriented, looking for a quality of movement that enhances awareness. It is an invitation to explore new ways of moving, breathing, and being. She developed her teaching skills during four years in the Iyengar yoga tradition. Laila continued her studies in Yin, Restorative, Scaravelli-inspired yoga, yoga synergy, Calligraphy yoga, and Vipassana meditation.
Sidi Kaouki is a little pearl located 25 kilometers south of Essaouira. The place was in ancient times build around a mausoleum by the sea that attracted pilgrims from far away. Today, surfers and windsurfers perpetuate this tradition. Here you will find a place with a totally different rhythm, very laid back. Relaxation sets in naturally as soon as you arrive. There are many long sandy beaches north and south that are still totally unspoiled, secluded and beautiful.

Please book your flight to arrive at Essaouira-Mogador Airport (ESU). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.
From Essaouira, buses can be found at Bab Doukala outside the medina. Local bus number two runs daily to Sidi Kaouki all day long. First departure is around 6 a.m. and the last bus is around 6 p.m. It costs 7 MAD for the journey and it takes around 45 minutes.
From Marrakesh or Agadir, the best option is to take the Supratours Bus. They have many daily departures to Essaouira. It is better to purchase the tickets in advance, as the buses might be full!
Taxis can be found at Bab Doukala outside the medina. Grand six-seater taxis also run daily to Sidi Kaouki. It costs 10 MAD for a seat. When the taxi is full, it will leave for Sidi Kaouki. If you don't want to wait, it costs 100 MAD for a private taxi. Expect to pay 150 MAD for a journey after sunset.
