Day 1: Arrival and welcome

  • Late afternoon arrival: Check-in at Winki Surf Lodge starting at 5 p.m.
  • Welcome meeting: Gather for a brief orientation where they'll introduce you to the lodge, the week’s schedule, and the basics of surf safety.
  • Settle in: Unpack, explore the lodge, and meet your fellow surf campers.
  • Evening relaxation: Enjoy the evening at your leisure, with an optional group dinner available for those who want to start mingling immediately.

Day 2: First wave

  • Morning surf lesson: After breakfast, hit the waves with your first surf lesson focusing on the fundamentals of surfing.
  • Free afternoon: The afternoon is yours to relax, explore, or enjoy the lodge’s amenities. Optional activities like a guided walk around the area are available.
  • Optional surf movie night: Wind down with a screening of a classic surf film, complete with popcorn and drinks.

Day 3: Deepening skills

  • Morning surf lesson: Build on yesterday's skills with a second surf lesson, introducing new techniques and personalized feedback.
  • Afternoon hiking trip: In the afternoon, enjoy a guided hike at the nearby national park, experiencing the stunning landscapes and unique flora and fauna of the region.

Day 4: Surf and yoga

  • Morning surf lesson: Continue developing your skills with another guided session focusing on improving your technique and confidence in the water.
  • Afternoon yoga: Participate in a yoga session designed to improve your flexibility and balance, critical for enhancing your surfing skills.

Day 5: Advanced surfing techniques

  • Morning surf lesson: Your fourth surf lesson will focus on more advanced techniques to help you catch and ride bigger waves.
  • Free afternoon: Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring more of the local area. This is a perfect time to enjoy the lodge’s amenities or take part in an additional optional activity.
  • Optional free surf session: For those eager for more time in the water, join an informal surf session to practice your new skills and enjoy the waves at your own pace.

Day 6: Wrap-up and departure

  • Morning surf session: Enjoy one final surf session in the morning, putting all your new skills to the test.
  • Breakfast and goodbyes: Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, followed by farewells. Check-out by 11 a.m.
