The camp will start on Saturday at 13:00 and end on Sunday at 12:00. Dynamic Windsurfing applies DWES, a five-level training system linked to the dynamic board where beginner's level will take place in XL-board with a small sail and then use L form to train in basic planing. Level M will handle full planes and level S will sail in big waves. Course participants from all levels are welcome at the camp.
The equipment at the camp will include:

The Dynamic Windsurfing Education System teaches the most important skills for sailing effectively in every wind condition. You will learn how to take advantage of the correct technique and how to combine the equipment in a way that gives fun and harmony in all surf conditions. Windsurf sinker shape to modern wide, short, and easy planing board shape. Let the variation in weather be to your advantage, bringing you fun variety and active exercise. Dynamic Windsurfing has set the course (see below), you may take advantage of their expertise and you will soon head on to the next level. As you improve, you will practice in stronger winds, bigger waves, and with smaller board shape. Before you know it, you will take off and graduating black belt in windsurfing.
You will join one of Dynamic Windsurfing's many beginner classes and learn the basics of windsurfing. You will get feedback on the water from the instructor educated in the Dynamic Windsurfing Education System and soon you will be sailing with ease. With the correct windsurfing technique from the start, your improvement will be fast and smooth. In this level, you will:
Note: You will be using the XL board size (L board shape with XL center fin) combined with a smaller dynamic sail on the beginner classes.
This course will be one of the big importance since it builds the base from which your technique can develop onward. With a solid base, the specific technics will become better. The XL courses will help you to:
Note: The XL shape uses a center fin to make the upwind sailing efficient.
The L level is focused on the following topics:
Note: Just a small gust of wind will accelerate the L board onto the surface of the water(plane) and enable speeds exceeding 15 knots.
At this level, you will focus on full planing conditions including:
Note: The M-board's shape gives full planing capabilities, great response, and fast turns. M is perfect for advanced and intermediate sailors in medium winds.
As the wind increases, so do waves, and at this level, you will focus more on how to deal with the waves and how to handle the small board shape. You will sail with control and safety in strong winds. With the S shape, you will ride smooth even in rough conditions where a bigger board shape will be too bumpy. You will manage planing jibes.
You will also manage to sail in huge waves and handle shore breaks, control the board when getting airborne, surf the breaks, and stay in control of the situation, keeping you and the gear safe when falling in water and hit by huge shore breaks. You will understand how to set up the gear for control or more action. You can use your technique to get even more control then manage sailing when dusty and sometimes really overpowered. S is shaped like a classic sinker and demands precision in both foot placement and overall sailing technique.
The XL board's shape works perfectly for lighter wind conditions. For more experienced sailors, the XL board combined with the largest sail size is an excellent way to enjoy windsurfing on those many sunny and beautiful non-extreme days. It is perfect for sailing longer distances or training light-wind sailing techniques. Include some pumping and you will even get a real workout.
The XL shape is the same as the L shape but with a critical difference, besides the skeg (fin), the XL also has a center fin. The center fin is an important feature as it adds stability, decreases downwind drifting and greatly improves the board's performance when sailing upwind. The XL shape combined with a smaller sail size is a perfect combination for beginners.
By simply removing the center fin, you will have the L board. This improves the boards planing abilities. Just a small gust of wind will accelerate the board onto the surface of the water(plane) and enable speeds exceeding 15 knots. The seasoned sailor will enjoy this board shape even in stronger winds, especially in gusty or flat water conditions, as the shape maximizes your average speed. For intermediate sailors, this board is the perfect design for learning and improving your planing techniques. The L-shape is wide at the stern and has a large skeg. With the L you can point close to the wind at planing speeds and sail deep downwind.
The M board's shape gives full planing capabilities, great response, and fast turns. M is perfect for advanced and intermediate sailors. It is perfect for training water starts, foot steer the board, make body drags, practice planing jibes, or just try to outrun other sailors on the water. Importantly, you will still have enough board volume to comfortably uphaul the rig and sail if the wind drops, so getting back to shore is no problem. The bow of the M shape has relatively large volume in order to keep steady and enhance early planing. The narrower tail gives smaller wet surface when planing resulting in higher top speeds.
You don't get a gale-force wind every day, but when you do, you don't want to miss it. Full speed, fast turns, and high adrenaline, for strong winds or waves, this is the ideal board shape. You can choose whether you want to set your next speed record, do high jumps, or pull off that laydown jibe. S is shaped like a classic sinker and demands precision in both foot placement and overall sailing technique. S is sailed by fin planing alone. The S shape with the S sail is the advanced windsurfers favorite combination to face the really rough days on the water.
