In this intensive surf camp, you will surf every single day. There are five surf classes in beginner-friendly spots with top-class instructors and palm-tree beaches and optional free surfing with a surfboard. You will learn the rules, the techniques, and the tips. Then enjoy a fresh beer at sunset by the panoramic pool at your tropical villa with music and good vibes.
Daily itinerary of this Surf Retreat Itinerary at a Luxury Caribbean Villa
Day 1: Arrival & Island Welcome
Arrive at our luxury villa, nestled in tropical paradise, and settle into your serene retreat. After unpacking, join your first surf class on land: Introduction to Surfing. This session focuses on surf etiquette, awareness of the rules, and the spirit of the sport. Meet your surf instructors and connect with fellow participants in a laid-back atmosphere.
In the evening, unwind with a refreshing welcome beer by the sea-view pool. Then, head to the vibrant town of Las Terrenas to soak up its active Caribbean vibes, known for lively music and dancing.
Day 2: Explore & Surf the Caribbean
Start your day with a guided tour of the area’s tropical surf spots, soaking in the breathtaking beauty of the Caribbean coastline. Enjoy lunch at your leisure at a beachfront eatery before diving into your second surf class. Take to the water to practice and embrace the waves.
Relax poolside with a chilled beer and enjoy a cultural evening celebrating Dominican traditions.
Day 3: Master the Waves at Playa Bonita
Wake up ready for your third surf class at stunning Playa Bonita. Ride the waves and enjoy a beachfront lunch. Later, refine your technique with another surf session, followed by poolside relaxation and a tropical drink.
Day 4: Adventure Day
Enjoy breakfast by the beach before embarking on a day of adventure. Hit the waves for a final surf session, visit a crystal-clear natural river, and shop at a charming beachside market.
Celebrate your journey with a special dinner by our Dominican cook or beachfront dining under the stars.
Day 5: Departure & Tropical Memories
Savor a farewell breakfast by the panoramic pool. Included airport transfer ensures a smooth journey back to Santo Domingo International Airport.

Emanuela Civaz
Emanuela is the host, a certified surf instructor, personal trainer and suspension trainer with 10 years of experience in functional yoga for surfing, health and wellness. She will be your reference point for the booking and will be your customer care for any need. She knows this paradise place since 6 years and will guide you in some of the amazing tours and classes you have in lineup. She collaborates with the best schools in town and knows most of the teachers. Enjoy learning new skills! She is looking forward to offer you the welcome beers with good vibes at the seaview pool!
Saori Garcia
Saori was a national champion twice and has several international competitions on his CV. He is a great surfer, and a charismatic coach.
Location
The camp will take place in La Ceiba, Las Terrenas, Samaná Province, Dominican Republic. Be immersed in nature and stay just five minutes drive from the surf spot where Villa Sunset and Villa Sunrise will drive you every day. Enjoy incredible sunsets by the pool with a local beer.

The talented Dominican chef takes pride in crafting a culinary experience tailored just for you. Before your retreat begins, you’ll share your preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions. From this, a personalized menu will be created to delight every palate.
Each day, indulge in hearty breakfasts and delectable dinners, showcasing the vibrant flavors of the traditional Dominican cuisine. Enjoy dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients, including bananas and limes grown right here at the villa. Tropical natural juices by the pool are a refreshing must-have!
Lunch is yours to explore. Use your free time to discover charming beachfront restaurants or vibrant local eateries in town. Alternatively, join the host for a visit to local food markets, where you can pick up fresh ingredients and learn to cook like a local!
