The Truck Surf Hotel is a converted Mercedes Actros with a hydraulic system that allows the walls and the sealing to expand. It transforms into an amazing double-decker hotel on wheels, giving the space of a home and the best comfort accommodation during your holidays.
This innovative mobile hotel will be fully equipped and prepared to ride with you on an unforgettable road trip. On the first floor, it has the living room with couches and a table where you can chill out. There is also a projector where you can easily watch any footage taken. The kitchen is prepared for self-catering and to cook your meals.
The truck is equipped with fire extinguishers and special emergency exits. It also has alarms for smoke or gas. The construction and materials are according to the safety rules. There is an emergency and safety plan on board and Truck Surf Hotel will explain it as soon as you come on board.
There is a toilet and, in a room next to it, a bathroom where you can have a nice warm shower. Outside the entrance, there is a lounge terrace with bin bags to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Climbing the indoor stairs, you have the upper floor with the main hall to access the five rooms, including four shared double rooms with a bunk bed and one private double room with a couple bed. 24 / 7 staff assistance and free Wi-Fi are available.
At the Truck Surf Hotel, you can choose either a bed in a shared double room, which is more economical, or if you are traveling with your partner, Truck Surf Hotel recommends you the private double room. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning and a locker where you can keep your personal belongings.
From surf trips to adventure trips, from yoga to sunset chill out sessions, from traditional food tasting to trekking along the cliffs, horse riding, and city tours, this comfortable and luxurious hotel “on wheels” gives you the flexibility to travel with the best guiding and surf coaches, making your holidays a unique experience.

Truck Surf Hotel will take you to amazing places in Alentejo and Algarve, according to the experience you have chosen, whether it is surfing on different beaches along the coast or exploring the spectacular nature with different outdoor activities.
So to take the best advantage of the trips, Truck Surf Hotel recommends you to come for at least one week, from Sunday to Sunday, so you do not miss the perfect waves or some amazing places you will visit. At the end of the day, there will be time to relax; you will take a warm shower inside the truck, drink a nice cold beer, and enjoy the sunset with your friends and the best vibe.
For free surfers who want to ride uncrowded waves on a dream surf trip, surf coaches will take you to the right places, always with professional advice and guidance so you can take the best of this experience. Daniela Carneiro
Daniela is a surfer and an outdoor lover. She used to work as an environmental engineer and, in 2013, she decided to quit her job and start a trip to explore some of the most amazing places to surf like Portugal, Morocco, Indonesia, Hawaii, Mexico, and Brazil. While traveling, she discovered a passion for photography. Since then, she has been working as a photographer and a surf instructor.
Eduardo Ribeiro
Eduardo is a Portuguese surfer and a longboarder athlete. Teaching water sports is his passion, and you can count on his highly qualified experience. He is a kitesurf instructor and a surf head coach. He started doing road trips 13 years ago to surf and participate in competitions. Soon, he realized that every single road trip is magical by itself and he wants to share this lifestyle with you.
Location
The trip will take place in Portugal. This is a trip through one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe. The long sandy beaches with perfect waves, blissful coastal cities, vast natural parks, and delicious seafood make this experience unforgettable.
During the summer from June to October, your trips lead you to the southwest coast of Portugal, along Alentejo and Algarve. This region is blessed with numerous uncrowded sandy beaches, separated by cliffs, in one-of-a-kind beauty landscapes. There are over 300 kilometers of coastline to explore in one of the best surf European surf destinations, where surfers of all levels can enjoy perfect waves in places like São Torpes, Odeceixe, Arrifana, Amado, and Cordoama.
On top of all these dream surf spots, the Costa Vicentina Natural Park is one of the best coastal trails and provides many outdoor activities like trekking, horse riding, biking, and climbing. At the end of the day, you will enjoy the magical sunsets and the most delicious regional cuisine.

Truck Surf Hotel can book for you a seat, which costs around 15 EUR to Lagos.
Arrival by train
Every Sunday, Truck Surf Hotel will do transfers from Lagos train station to the truck. They advise you to fly to Faro Airport (FAO) and then travel to Lagos train station. From Faro Airport (FAO), you can catch the bus 16, destiny Faro, till Faro train station, about six kilometers. Then you go on the regional train, destiny Lagos, which costs around 10 EUR, and in one hour and 45 minutes, you arrive in Lagos Town. They will do the drop-off at 3 p.m. and the pick-up at 6 p.m.
