You will be lodged in a sweet house close to the beach accessible by a two minutes’ walk (for the closest one) and about five minutes to go to the bay. When you go surfing at the magic bay, you take all the surf material with the car and you are free to join Travel Surf Morocco at the beach choosing if you prefer to walk or to go with Travel Surf Morocco by car.
Travel Surf Morocco have books, rooftop, TV, and a lounge for sharing moments together out of the water, during the relaxing time. The cook even grows his own vegetables in the garden of the outer courtyard. Stand Up Paddle Morocco is for those of you who’d like to discover stand up paddling or to polish your skills. First, Travel Surf Morocco will take you to flat water to get the feel of the board, after which you’ll begin trying to SUP the waves! You’ll be hitting the region’s best spots and maybe some wild places, enjoying pure and natural landscapes.
At Morocco’s first SUP school, you’re going to practice this sport with quality materials: paddles and boards adapted to your level and morphology. Your instructor is a professional SUP waterman, sponsored by the Swiss brand Indiana SUP. He will share with you his passion for challenge and love of the sea! You will learn with Youssef, a waterman who does SUP for many years, on the Indiana Stand Up Paddles.
Mohamed, Younes, and Youssef are exceptionally dedicated surf instructors. As good local surfers, they know how to help you with your surf practice. They will make you feel safe and confident in all your sessions. And above all, they will make you laugh! You will feel like a local by learning to enjoy the surf lifestyle!
Surfing is the main activity, all the teachers are certified surf monitors and passionate surfers, they are with you in the water. Travel Surf Morocco can do up to three sessions a day depending on the tides and conditions. So, when it’s good you are in! Travel Surf Morocco provides all you need (board, wetsuit, wax, etc.), but of course, if you want to surf with your own material you are free to bring it. Your monitor will give you advice and surfboard adapted to your individual level for a better progression.
First of all, you will learn how to stand up, find, and keep your stability on the board and paddle on flatwater. Imessouane is one of the best spots to learn how to do SUP. Thanks to the tides, no wave when it is high and a huge space when the waves are breaking. You can do what you want, riding waves if you feel comfortable enough, or hanging around on the flat water and enjoying the unbelievable background of the Imessouane bay.
You could enjoy and make your SUP surfing better. Thanks to the advice given by professional monitor, on the amazing waves of the bay, the cathedral (more powerful), and the reef (for advanced surfers). You understand that Imessouane is a magic place for stand up paddling.

Youssef embodies the spirit of Travel Surf Morocco. As a real waterman, he is the main surfer and stands up paddle teacher of the team with more than 17 years of surfing experience. Graduated from the Moroccan and the French Surf Federation (international surf teacher certificate), he has worked for UCPA for about ten years. He can read the ocean which assures you to progress in your practice, improve your style, and find inspiration in his passion for surfing. Very outgoing and full of energy, for him is truly important to make sure you will be fully satisfied!
The surf camp is a cozy house located in the beautiful fishing village of Imsouane, on the beautiful Atlantic coast. It is located only two minutes from the closest beach, a good break, and five minutes from the bay, the main surf spot. From the roof top, you could enjoy an amazing view of the beach, the village, and the landscape around.
The surf camp is located in Imessouane between Essaouira and Agadir (the region has a micro-climate which includes an average of 330 days of the sunshine per year). This place is a very calm and typical fishing village full of charm. All bar, restaurants, shops, and more are reachable by foot. The surf lodge is close to the bay, one of the famous right hand of 800 meters long in Morocco. The other spot close from the camp is a cathedral, a very good beach break for all level. You can also go to Taghazout when the conditions permitted. Here, you surf the famous Anchor Point, la Source, Banana Point, and more amazing waves.
Favorite of the longboarders, this magic right hander breaks over 800 meters long. You reach the pic of this point break from the harbor. From there, you are ready to catch the longest wave of your life! This surf spot is for all levels, usually not much current and beautiful landscape in front of the spot.
Nice reef break left wave which allows the intermediate surfers to exploit the wave with a few maneuvers. It can dig with medium swell and form cool little barrels. This place is amazing for sunset session!
Working in big swell, this powerful right wave offers possibilities of a nice ride in the line-up. This surf spot is only for advanced surfers.
Ahmed is truly the best chef cook ever! You cannot resist his delicious meals: tajine, couscous, and more. Graduated from Agadir Cooking School, with years of experience, Ahmed cooks for you with his heart! He likes to go himself in the souk / market to choose fresh products, vegetables, and fruits in season. Always mindful of a balanced and healthy alimentation, he can adapt to your diet whether you are a meat lover or vegetarian. He will make you discover the tasty flavors of the traditional Moroccan cuisine!
Travel Surf Morocco could organize cultural excursion like visiting the Agadir’s Souk, walking on beautiful Moroccans’ backgrounds, meeting local people in small villages around, and many more.
Sometimes, Mother Nature doesn’t want to provide you good enough conditions for water sport, so you can go skating all around the village to keep you in form and train your surfing moves.
