The Surfer Beach Camp
The Surfer Beach Camp offers hotel accommodation which is perfect for singles, couples, groups, or families. They are very spacious with enough room for all the gear you might bring along for your holiday. The hotel provides 12 rooms and every room has its own private balcony and bathroom. If you want to upload your latest photos from the line up then, you can use Wi-Fi available just for you. You are probably also thinking about the heat and sleeping at night. Sri Lanka is not that bad.
Here at the hotel, the rooms will always have a cool breeze both day and night. On top of that, all the rooms are fitted with fans and big windows to the terrace so that you can adjust to your personal needs. If you like to have an air conditioning deluxe room with roof top sea view, that is possible to. If for some reason you want to hang out somewhere other than your room in between your time surfing, the best place you can get to is our roof top restaurant area and the chilling area. And if you feel like you want to have a swim, they gladly provide you with a swimming pool.
TS2 Surf Camp
If you have a feel for living in an authentic Sri Lankan environment which is just meters away from the best beginner surf area around, then nothing beats the TS2 Surf Camp. It's also pointed out that this is the perfect place for larger groups to gather. The whole place is designed with one apartment on each floor. Each apartment is designed with 3 bedrooms with private bathroom. On top of that, each apartment has great kitchen facilities, living area, plus a chill out rooftop restaurant.
It is also very nice for guests interested in meeting other people. Here at the TS2 Surf Camp, you'll find most of the visitors to be northern Europeans so English is a common language and like a mother tongue. If you want to upload your latest photos from the lineup, then The Surfer Weligama will be more than happy to share their free Wi-Fi with you. This is also a great spot just off the busy city center but still within 5-minute-walking distance. Therefore, everything you need is just around the corner. The beach is literally 100 meters away.

Mainly, The Surfer Weligama's team of instructors are all experienced surfers and speak English fluently. All of them are native Lankan, Germans, Dutch, Scandinavians, or British with good local knowledge. The Surfer Weligama has surf and yoga package created for the people who like to do yoga and surf together.
You will have a great experience for your vacation with professional yoga teachers. Their goal at The Surfer Weligama is to get you up and ripping the waves as fast as possible. They know that you would like to get the most out of your stay here. To make sure of that, each instructor only takes four people out in the water. That way, you are sure to get the personal feedback and tips that guarantee fast progress on the surfboard!
Difference between Beach camp and TS2 Weligama
The only main difference is the location. The beach camp located right next to the beach with a swimming pool, while the TS2 camp located a five-minute ride away from the beach camp. However, please take notice that all events will take place at the beach camp even if you stay at the TS2 Weligama. Transport will be paid so you can basically spend all your day at the beach camp and just go for sleep at TS2 camp.

This surf camp is divided into 3 levels which are surf lessons package level 1, level 2, and surf guiding package.
Level 1 surf lesson
The surf lessons package level 1 is designed for the complete beginner and for those who have tried surfing a few times but have not been able to catch a wave by themselves. The Surfer Weligama guarantees you have chosen the right place where you will learn surfing with the right techniques with their friendly and experienced surf instructors!
Since they only take three persons max per instructor for the surf lessons, you are guaranteed personal attention during the surf lessons from all surf instructors!
Also most of the time, you will be surfing at the home break right in front of the surf camp which is less crowded and gives you a hassle free time to learn properly!
Level 2 surf lesson
The surf lessons package level 2 is designed for the surfer who can catch a wave in the white water but wants to continue to progress their surfing and learn safety tips, tricks, how to go to the line up, how to catch a green wave properly and turn so they can improve from a beginner surf level to an intermediate surf level with well experienced surf instructors!
In this package, depending on your surf level and the wave condition you will have the chance to go to secret spots by boat as well as other different surf spots with our surf instructors to learn!
Location
The Surfer Weligama is a surf camp located at beautiful locations next to the beach in Weligam, which is also a beginner surf spot. All around the place, along with the beautiful coastline, there are nine to ten more surf spots within a 10-minute radius. Hands on heart, it is more than happy to say that The Surfer Weligama is situated in the middle of the best surf area in Sri Lanka. As a bonus, they also have the best beginner and intermediate surf points in Weligama right at their doorstep.

It is real easy to get around on scooter or tuk tuk. There is a lot of sightseeing you can do within a one-hour radius. There is the nightlife in Mirissa with good restaurants and lively bars which are only 10 minutes away along the coast by tuk tuk. A good nightlife is close by when you want it.
