The retreat will be held at the most enchanting of locations, Duwa Villas. Located less than two kilometers from the pristine Indian Ocean on the South Coast of Sri Lanka, The Duwa Villas occupy the entire Thal Duwa, meaning Palm Island, located a short drive from the coastal town of Ahangama. This magnificent five-suite villa has been chosen the retreat venue as it epitomizes serenity and will have you forgetting the chaos of real world the minute you walk in through the gates.
Duwa Villas is an exquisitely presented heritage oasis that displays the charms of Dutch colonial architectural features in the most magical way. The chic interiors of the villa blend in harmony with traditional Sri Lankan charm combining local materials with contemporary design. The villa consists of five en-suite bedrooms, spacious outdoor and indoor living and dining areas, a butler’s pantry, and a private swimming pool. Verdant tropical gardens scattered with coconut palms, cinnamon and fruit trees surround the villa, providing privacy and tranquility.

An official day by day itinerary will be provided at the commencement of the retreat. Participation in classes and activities is optional. A maximum of ten guests is accepted to ensure a truly individualized experience.

Continuously inspired by the mind, body, spirit connection, she went on to train in India for her 500-hour advanced teaching certification, and continued to teach and travel the world. Emma will be offering strong, powerful morning Hatha Vinyasa practices tailored to all levels of ability and deep, relaxing afternoon Yin yoga sessions.
This retreat will take place at the Duwa Villas in Ahangama, Sri Lanka. The Kabalana coastal town in southern Sri Lanka is best known for surfing and being on the west coast, it’s fast to reach. It is ideally located with Galle and Unawatuna towns to the North and Mirissa town to the South. The historic sites of Galle, the touristy beach buzz of Unavatuna, and the whales and dolphins of Mirissa, are just a short drive away.

Please book your flight to arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). It is suggested to book your flight to arrive on time for the 10:00 pickup from Colombo city. There will be one scheduled transit coach organized and pickup will be from Colombo city (not the airport).
