Costa Rica is a Central American country situated between Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south. It has been dubbed many things such as “The Switzerland of Central America”, “Hawaii, only cheaper!”, “The Second Oldest Democracy in the Western Hemisphere" or “The Greatest Weather on Earth”, and so on. Costa Rica has been blessed would be an understatement. Still, Costa Rica, like every other country in the world, has its problems.
During this retreat, you will be located in Costa Rica, mainly in Playa Tamarindo. Playa Tamarindo is located on Costa Rica's west coast on the Nicoya Peninsula. This place is one of the country's most beautiful beaches. The long, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters attract nature lovers, surfers, turtle watchers, and sun seekers all year round, even in the rainy season. Though it is a great tourist destination, the town and area still have a very Costa Rican feeling.
Meanwhile, Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica has a dry forest area which is the perfect adventure playground with tons of amazing outdoor activities. There are mountains, volcanoes, rivers, hidden waterfalls, deserted beaches, pristine islands, and primary forests to discover.
