A pretty garden ran along the surf house. There, you’ll sunbathe on the comfortable folding or try the impossible by challenging to cross the funny slackline. The most impressive thing you can find in the garden is the amazing swimming pool. Having clean and warm water, the swimming pool is a great alternative to the beach on the warmest days. The surf house is situated just three kilometers west of Tarifa’s town and 300 meters or a five-minute walk from the kite and surf beach of “Los Lances Norte”, one of the most beautiful beaches of Spain and Andalusia. Tarifa Natural Surf Club is located only five minutes walk from the surf spots of Arte Vida and Hurricane.

Tarifa is a small town in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia, on the southernmost coast of Spain. The town is located in the “Costa de la Luz” and across the Straits of Gibraltar facing the Moroccan coast, well known as the Europe Capital of Wind.

The city of Tarifa flows through the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Morocco is visible with naked eyes because it is just 14 kilometers of the sea which divides the two continents.

Once you get to Tarifa, you’re involved in the magic view of a hybrid environment. The eight-kilometer beach of “Los Lances” looks like it’s never ending; the green hills and the mountains on the north of the city are the gates of the natural park of “Los Arcornocales”.

At the end of the “Los Lances” beach, the wind was blowing for years and years, forming an incredible sand dune as well known as the “Duna de Valdevaqueros”. Valdevaqueros is the farthest beach of Tarifa’s landscape.

Hopefully, the environment all around Tarifa is preserved intact. The beaches look really wild, there are no big building constructed along the coast, instead, there are few smalls chiringuitos where people can have special mojitos, smoothies, sangria or just a fresh beer.

The city of Tarifa is not so huge. The old town area is surrounded by medieval walls and can be visited just in a few hours. Walking through the suggestive and tiny streets of the historical center will bring you back in medieval times. The castle of “Guzman el Bueno” is open to all the visitors, close to the main square “La plaza del Alameda” where you can find a typical market who the locals sell delicious fresh fish and bio vegetables.

Arte Vida

It is the surf spot in front of the Tarifa Natural Surf House. It is located just five minutes' walk from the villa. The beach is rocky / sandy and creates several picks. It is a really good spot for every kind of rider. Normally, the wind affects less than in the other spots. It can lift up three-meter waves while working in perfect conditions. Normally, the waves can be one or two meters high.

It is a small rocky surf spot next to “Arte Vida”, recommended just for advanced riders. Entering the pick is really hard due to the rocks on the bottom. The spot got one main pick located just in front of the wooden ladder necessary to reach the beach. There are some more picks all around the main pick. Due to the rocks, it lifts up perfect waves if the swell is strong enough.
