Taghazout Surf Hostel is a tranquil house shared with other surfers, living together in a very relaxed, familiar atmosphere. The surf hostel connects like-minded explorers from the world over together in a chilled out and relaxed environment. This is a place where beginners and seasoned surfers meet new people, share traveling experiences and chill out or party. Everyone is welcomed to the camp as part of the family. The surf house is typically decorated in the Moroccan style, with exceptional views overlooking the well-known surf spots, all within five minutes drive.
It is located only a few meters from the beach with all the comforts of home. The surf house is equipped with 10 bedrooms, a kitchen (small use like tea or coffee) and an upstairs TV room where you can choose between surf movies, books, and surf magazines. The open terrace is perfect for barbecues at night or just to chill out. The town itself is a great place to experience the extraordinary restaurants, surf shops, and traditional market, all just few minutes walk from the house. Pets are allowed but charges may be applicable.
A shared room is the best way to get to know people. Most of the dorms contain four beds, but there are rooms that fit eight people. Most of the rooms have a private bath and a view of the ocean.
This surf camp package is for people who would like to learn how to surf or that haven’t surfed for a while and want to go through the basics again. Each morning you will learn how to surf with qualified and experienced instructors. By the end of the week, you will be able to comfortably catch white water waves on a regular basis. The typical day in the hostel starts with a breakfast buffet at 08:30 on the first terrace, overlooking the ocean.
After this, you will head out to do a warm up, run-through, and then surf, surf, and surf. Two hours later, your endorphins will be skyrocketing, and it’s time for lunch. You’re now in complete control of what you want to do, so chill on the balcony, go to the market, or take another surfing session. Taghazout Surf Hostel arranges dinner in the evening, and after that, you can do what you want. Maybe go to Agadir or just rest for tomorrow’s surfing sessions.

This surf camp will take place at Taghazout Surf Hostel. The hostel is located in the surf village of Taghazout, 20 kilometers north of the coastal city of Agadir in Morocco. This charming fishing village is easily accessible by taxi or bus. The hostel is located minutes from the most famous surf spots of the south such as Killer Point, Anchor Point, Hash Point, Boilers, La Source, Panoramas, and Banana Point.
Taghazout boasts the best waves in Morocco with great Atlantic swells, point breaks, beach breaks and reef breaks. Taghazout offers all kinds of waves, from gentle beginner waves to heavy reef breaks for more advanced surfers. Taghazout has some of the most perfect right-hand point breaks you will ever surf. It offers a variety of spots that can suit any surfing abilities, as well as any swell, tide and wind variations. The best swells hit the region between November and March.
This package includes 7 breakfast, 6 lunches, and 6 dinners. You will get a hearty breakfast with local bread, preserves, cream cheese, yogurts and some days, even crepes! For lunch, you will get a baguette with the filling of the day plus mineral water and fresh fruits. For dinner each night, you will dine on traditional Moroccan fair cooked by the local in-house chefs.
These are talented ladies and their delicious dishes range from tagines to couscous to Moroccan meatballs to many other specialties. Every Wednesday night, there will even be a barbecue. Taghazout Surf Hostel can also accommodate vegetarians, vegans, and food allergies.
Taghazout is a dry village, meaning that it does not sell alcohol. You can, however, buy alcohol at various places in Agadir and it is allowed to be brought into the hostel. It is not, however, allowed on the streets and you’re encouraged to be sensible about the amount you consume so as not to offend the locals in this tiny Muslim village.
You can take a bus to the bus station in Agadir. Transfer from the bus station is included in the price. Taghazout Surf Hostel will pick you up from the bus station.
