During this surf camp, you will stay at Sydney Beachouse YHA. This place is a hostel located on Collaroy Beach right in the middle of Sydney’s superb Northern Beaches. For your comfort, you can choose either to stay in a dorm with high ceilings or double room.
This surf camp will take place on Nothern Beaches, Australia. Northern Beaches has a sensational stretch of surf spots which cater for all levels of skill. Manly, Freshwater, Dee Why, Collaroy and Narrabeen are great spots for you who recently start surfing. For the more experienced guys, North Narrabeen and off the point in Dee Why are the places to hit. Long reef is also a very popular spot with the locals. It’s a great reef break which is pretty consistent and will give a good wave nearly every day.
Sydney Beachouse YHA provides you with a fully-equipped kitchen so that you can cook your own meals to refresh your day.
The nearby airport is Sydney Airport (SYD).
There is a Collaroy bus stop located 50 meters from the hostel front door. You can catch the E88, L88, E90, L90 from Lee Street at Railway Square (Stand B) or Carrington Street at Wynyard Station (Stand D), then catch the L85 or E85. Please note that tickets are not sold on board on weekdays. Pre-purchase your ticket from the station ticket office between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. You can hop off at Collaroy Beach shops.
You can go from Circular Quay and take a ferry to Manly. Then, you can catch bus 151, 155 or 156 to Collaroy Beach until you hop off at Collaroy Beach shops.
