Morocco Surf Spot

  • Morocco surf spots(Agadir bay) has long beach break and there are different spots that share the same breaks left and rights; this spot just needs a swell of 1.5 to 2 meters any more than this will cause the waves to close out
  • (Anza) here is an awesome wave for the left and right hander, they work in low tide and high tide but just in a swell between 1.5 to 1.7 meters the off shore wind from the south is bad for this spot.
  • (km11 & km12) two spots have the same break and are lefts. They work in low tide and high tide but its very good when the tide starts to go out and the waves become extremely hollow and fast.
  • (Banana point) is a point break and the wave is a right hander this spot works in low tide and when the tide goes out it is a very long wave and the wave starts to break at this spot from a swell of 1.9 to 2.5 meters when the wave reaches more than 2,5 meters the wave just closes out.
  • (Anchor point) is the famous point break in morocco and its called anchor point because in the past the land was occupied by an anchor factory where they made many anchors for the nearby ships and boats and the spot still carries the name to this day. It is a right hander wave extremely fast and hollow it works very well in low tide and when the tide goes out it creates a very long wave and in this wave you can expect to see it reach 4.5 meters before breaking.
  • (Killers point) gets its name because sometimes if you are lucky you can find Killer whales playing there and jumping in the ocean they eat what they can find around the rocks! This spot works when there is a swell of 2 meters. Here you will find hard sets coming from the right it is a long one and if you paddle out to the left side for around 1000 meters you are going to find a hollow left that is just so fast and shallow everyone and especially the pros from around the world including Kelly Slater have been to enjoy this wave and Surfline Morocco guarantee you will have an adrenaline filled experience.
  • (Desert point) here is a point break right hander that needs a swell of 2 meter and no wind except on shore wind then you get a long right hander that is a mellow but heavy wave.
  • (Dracula) its called Dracula because the shape of the rocks are like vampire teeth. This wave is a fast right hander that pushes some punchy and often large sets.
  • (Boilers ) If its waves that you want you certainly get them here. Wind that funnels from the mountains offers large vertical lips and speed walls, and this powerful right hander.
  • (Boilers) If washes onto a strong shallow reef. If not with our surf instructors, this is a lot easier if you have a buddy ready to tell you when to rock off behind the ship wreck, looking on from the shore. Get ready to scamper across the reef on your way out before the next set hits. Often visited by pro photographers for the intensity of pictures available, awesome spot!
  • (Tamri) This ultra consistent beach break is the place to go when Taghazout is flat. Quick back sections pay privilege to an even more constant beach push, strong currents at times but a fun ride all the same. For beginners just be aware how far you have drifted down the coast. The lush estuary is home to camels and flamingos, a truly wonderful spot.
