It is a traditional Moroccan house or palace with an interior garden or courtyard. Here, you can relax with access to the internet with Wi-Fi in the pool and garden or enjoy the views of the beach and Atlantic ocean from the terrace. The beach is in 7-minute walking distance.

This surf tour is based in south Morocco, and a minimum of three people is needed to book. You will travel the best breaks, depending on the conditions, together with experienced local guides and surfers. Surfline Morocco is a company created by a surfer for surfers, so they know how to make surfers happy. They have a different way of surf guiding, and the long experience they have in the business ensures you that they also have learned from only the best professional surfers out there.

You will also have plenty of time to relax and enjoy your trip. All you have to do is organize the program with your guide and everything will be great and taken care of. The surf guiding team is composed of surfers Mohammed Ben Lemkadem and Mustapha Elbaz, who also happens to be a professional photographer with extensive experience with other professional surfers, shooting great photos and making good videos for them.

You will most likely encounter the powerful waves of Dracula and Boilers Point. Here, you can surf the longest and most powerful right-hander in the area. These two famous spots are visited by professional surfers from all over the world including Dane Reynolds, Kelly Slater, Adriano de Souza, Dave Rastovich, and more. All these world-renowned surfers fell in love with these locations.

Surf spots in Taghazout

Agadir bay

It has a long beach break and different spots that share the same breaks. It is both left and right-hander. It just needs a swell of 1.5 to 2 meters and any more will cause waves to close out.

Anchor point

This is a quality spot that can show perfect lines, located about 1 kilometer north of Taghazout's town center. It breaks off of a pier and can connect all the way into Taghazout. This a famous point break in Morocco and was named as such due to a former anchor factory in the area. It has right-hander waves that are extremely fast and hollow. It works very well in low tide and when the tide goes out, it creates a very long wave that you can expect to reach 4.5 meters before breaking.

This spot gets seriously crowded and its level of surfing is high. The crowds and the small take-off area almost make this an exclusive spot for intermediate and expert surfers only. Entry is either done by jumping off rocks or paddling in from the beach towards the right. Beware of strong currents that can bring you very close to the pier or rocks.

Anza

It has awesome waves for the left and right-hander, and works for both low and high tides. The swell is just between 1.5 to 1.7 meters, and the off-shore wind from the south ruins this spot.

Banana Point

This is a point break with right-hander waves. It works for both low and high tides, and has a very long wave when the tide goes out. Waves start to break from a swell of 1.9 to 2.5 meters, and just closes out if more than the higher limit.

Boilers

It takes about 25 minutes by car to get to from Taghazout. It offers powerful right-hander, and breaks off of something that looks like remnants of a shipwreck. It has relatively short but fast and barreling-type waves. It is a bit tricky to get in to and assistance from the water or land is helpful. It has sharp rocks close to the shore so getting out can be tricky as well. If it's waves that you want, you certainly get them here.

Wind that funnels from the mountains offers large vertical lips and speed walls. It washes onto a strong shallow reef. If you're not with a surf instructor, it will be a lot easier if you have a buddy ready to tell you when to rock off behind the ship wreck, looking on from the shore. Get ready to scamper across the reef on your way out before the next set hits. This awesome spot is often visited by professional photographers for the intensity of pictures available.

Desert Point

This is a right-hander point break that needs a swell of two meters and no wind except on-shore ones. Here, you can get a long right-hander that is a mellow but heavy wave.

Dracula

It is named as such because the shape of its rocks resembles vampire teeth. The wave is a fast right-hander that pushes some punchy and often large sets.

Killer Point

This has one of the best waves in the area. It is located about three kilometers out of Taghazout and can be reached after about 30 minutes of walking. There's a long paddle to the line-up of about 10 to 15 minutes for a fit surfer. The wave is a very long right-hander, and almost perfect on the right day. It picks up a fair bit of swell and can hold waves up to 12 feet. You will need a good quality leash as there’s nowhere to swim to when you lose your board.

This spot is supposedly named after killer whales sometimes seen there. If you're lucky, you can find killer whales playing there, jumping in the ocean and eating whatever they can find around the rocks. This spot works when there is a swell of two meters. Here, you will find hard, long sets coming from the right and if you paddle out to the left side for around 1000 meters, you are going to find a hollow left that is just so fast and shallow. Everyone, especially world professionals including Kelly Slater, find these waves enjoyable and Surfline Morocco guarantees that you will have an adrenaline-filled experience in this spot.

Kilometer 11 and Kilometer 12

These have the same break and are lefts. They work for both low and high tides but are very good when the tide starts to go out and waves become extremely hollow and fast.

Mysteries

This is a decent break, as it seems to pick up more swell than the other spots, but will also start closing out over five feet. Entry is from the beach. This spot can be shallow during lower tides.

Tamri

It takes another 20 minutes of going up the coast to reach this spot. This ultra-consistent beach break is the place to go when Taghazout is flat. Quick back sections pay privilege to an even more constant beach push. It has strong currents at times, but a fun ride all the same. For beginners, just be aware of how far you have drifted down the coast. Its lush estuary is home to camels and flamingos, which makes it a truly wonderful spot. Getting in and out of the water is hard though, because of its very sharp rocks.
