Surfcamp 360, Praia de Santa Cruz, Portugal is the result of the love for nature, surf, and all the natural things that make the world a better place.
Surfing since the age of 12, the sea is Rui’s first home. Over time, he realized that teaching surfing was his passion, so in 2016, he decided to do certification as an I-grade surf coach at Lusófona University. Still in that year, he did an internship in a local surf camp and in 2017 decided to open his own surf camp.
Naaisha is a regular practitioner of yoga for over 8 years and also a certified yoga teacher for the past 5 years, She's been teaching and practicing constantly, during my holidays she spends time in surf camps or yoga retreats, either working as a yoga teacher and surfing or just enjoying a nice holiday creating art along the way. In her past experiences, she has taught students of many levels and her yoga classes are very dynamic according to the client. What she enjoyed the most is teaching yoga and designing routines for surfers to improve balance and physical strength.
Diogo is a surf instructor from 2018 in Lusofona University. Diogo is a local surfer in Santa Rita Beach since he was 15 years old. He loves the sea and teaching people.
For me, Yoga is above all a balance to the fast-paced time, which allows you to regain strength and serenity at the same time. I take the time for a regular practice, which strengthens the body and mind. My Vinyasa classes are characterized mainly by dynamic and powerful flows, because sinking into the movement process is particularly important to me. As a counterbalance to that, I also enjoy letting go in relaxed Yin Yoga classes. Through my Anusara-inspired training with Maja Zilih, I also attach great importance to proper alignment to protect and promote the health of my students.
When I started practicing yoga I thought yoga was a nice workout to improve body control, strength and flexibility. That’s truth, but is just a consecuence of the practice, because yoga is all about learning how to enjoy the moment, to be happy and free, and more than nothing, to make every people happy. My classes are ashtanga vinyasa based, dynamic but slow at the same time because “slow is the new strong”.
Liz’s great passion has always been movement and nutrition. Today, more than ever, she is convinced that a healthy, active and fit lifestyle is the path to longivity and happiness. Long story short – as soon as Liz came back to Austria things began to flow and she soon taught up to 25 classes per week in all different kind of studios, companies, festivals etc. Another teacher training in Bali as well as in Austria followed the next years. For Liz, Yoga is an integral part of her life and being a yoga teacher is not just a profession but her vocation. Her unique yoga classes are a combination
Our teacher Lotte from the Netherlands is a Hatha yoga teacher graduated from Arhanta Yoga Ashram (200h) in 2015, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Ashram (100h) in 2017. She leads her classes in a way that reflects her (inner) journey. Influenced by her teachers, travels, and loved ones, Lotte aims to bring enthusiasm and uplifting energy into each of her classes. She wants her students to have full yoga experience and therefore she brings all essential parts of yoga to the practice: meditation, breathing, asanas, and relaxation. The latest training she did was a Kundalini course with Gurmukh Kaur Khals
