Surf Riders Ericeira are surfers by heart, grown up at the best surf spots of Portugal and know the Portuguese coastline like nobody else. The Surfriders Ericeira is, as the name already implies, all about surfing and the pure feeling of freedom that comes with the surfsport and a life by the ocean. They will open the doors and invite you to become a part of the surf rider community while experiencing the Portuguese surfing lifestyle like a local.
%You will be provided seven nights of accommodation at the Golden Heritage Ericeira Villas during the surf camp. Golden Heritage Ericeira Villas' goal is to be more a home than a surf camp which allows you to have individual attention.
The accommodation is the alternative for those seeking for some peace of mind, located in the city center, but on one of the few premium properties in Ericeira. It has a common pool, outdoor parking, and also a number of green spaces.
The team is composed of people who travel a lot. They know the importance of being well-received and followed up when they come to a country that is not theirs. If you find you need anything extra or have some special requests, please tell Golden Heritage Ericeira Villas.

Early in the morning, the misty veil slowly rains over the Portuguese Atlantic Coast and the first rays of sunlight fall warmly over the Surf Riders Camp, dipping the flowers and palm trees in the garden into a light morning blush. The chirping of the little birds is the only noise you hear.
No matter if you are totally new to the world of yoga or already an experienced yogi or yogini, the loving and professional yoga teacher Lis will always make sure you get the most out of her classes. Lis has been practicing yoga for more than nine years, and because she also loves surfing, she truly understands the benefits of yoga for the surfing practice.
During the last years, she taught yoga (surf-yoga classes and special yoga retreats) in several lodges and surf camps in Cape Town, South Africa, France, and Portugal. From beginners to advanced levels, she will always make sure you are safe on the mat and will guide you into amazing inner journeys.
Yoga helps to strengthen the key physical points to the surfing practice, such as arms, legs, back, and wrists. It minimizes the risk of injuries and improves the recovery time after a surf session. By learning to know and accept your body, you will improve your surf skills and bring your body feeling to a whole other level. By calming down the mind, you will be more focused and more concentrated in the water.
This surf camp will be held in Ericeira, Portugal. Nestled among the rolling fields of lush green vegetation, stands the villas of the guesthouse Surf Riders Surf Camp, overlooking the region of Ericeira. Here, the world is still in order. Slowly, the clear air mixes with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
Not only the Golden Heritage itself with its outdoor pool, but the lovingly landscaped garden and the countless chill-out and withdraw options leave nothing to be desired. Also, the surrounding area offers a lot.
In October 2011, Ericeira was the first European surf destination to be awarded with the World Surfing Reserve title and only the second reserve to be distinguished worldwide and remains the only one in Europe until today. The awards are a celebration of Ericeira’s beautiful beaches which include some of the best surf spots in the world. That is why surfers from all over the world travel to Ericeira to ride waves.
The old fisherman´s village has a lot to offer. Apart from being a relaxed surf town, Ericeira is known for its combination of traditional and modern Portuguese charm. The beautiful scenery of blue and white architecture stretches through the entire cityscape. Its vibrant nightlife invites you to let go and dance through the night.
Staying at Surfriders you will have everything the town has to offer by a few minutes’ walk, as well as the opportunity to escape the thundering “city life” and withdraw, recharge your batteries and just be. Ericeira is very close to Lisbon and Sintra as well as many other spots worth visiting if you fancy a change of scenery.
The cost of the program includes seven healthy breakfasts. The local and international restaurants make sure you get the best service while eating fresh and healthy delicacies.
For city lovers and explorers, the center of the beautiful city Ericeira (the first world surf reserve in Europe and second in the world and part of the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) world tour) and its many stunning beaches are within walking distance.
For those who like to explore more of the Portuguese Atlantic Coast, the historical cities such as Óbidos, Sintra, Lisbon, Peniche, and Fatima are very close, too.
The whole coastline invites water sports enthusiasts to go surfing, sailing, diving, and canoeing, while land lovers come with hiking, golfing, biking, and many more activities at their expense. Horse riding, massages, SUP, and wine tasting tours are also possible.
The massage therapist not only knows the human body and its individual needs, but she also knows exactly what your body needs after a long surfing day. From wellness massages, which bliss you out in no time to physical realignments and therapy, she knows exactly how to treat your body and how to give it the attention it needs.
It is up to you if you just want to unwind and end your day with a calming and relaxing massage or if you want to get your well exercised surfing body some after-sport treatment.
